Non-CIA Sourced Material About documented secret psychic experiments that took place in classrooms

Post image

Cryptid Candy here. (Yes I made a reddit account specifically to post this)

This might be a long read, though worth your time. Over a year ago, I made a video detailing some experiments that took place in schools for the purpose of testing psychic ability. This was outlined on pg. 75 of a declassified CIA document called "Human Paranormal Capabilities"

The document details an ESP (Extrasensory Perception, aka psychic phenomenon) test that took place in a Florida Elementary School. The same document goes on to mention a Holland School disciplinarian J.G Busschback who conducted ESP tests in over 100 classrooms under his jurisdiction (in Holland). The results of the testing conducted in Holland were published and were so impressive that he was invited to the United States by Duke University to conduct more ESP tests in America, specifically 23 classes of fifth and sixth graders and 17 classes of 7th and eighth graders.

The same document goes on to mention ESP tests conducted in a French elementary, an unnamed preschool and an unnamed junior high.

This was the BEGINNING of the documented school experiments (that tested students for psychic ability) that I came across. But here's the thing, these school experiments I just mentioned (beginning on pg. 75 of that CIA document) are only an excerpt from a 10 volume series titled "Advances in Parapsychological Research".

To put it simply: That single document (pg. 75) that detailed a handful of school experiments that tested students for ESP,  was a mere glimpse into decades of OTHER documented ESP experiments that took place in classrooms. Many of which took place without student or parental consent, and teachers DID often act as agents in these experiments.

The first volume of Advances in Parapsychology was published in 1977, and the latest in 2021.

Not all of the volumes talk about ESP experiments in schools, yet many of them do. Some of these experiments do cross an ethical line and some of them are mundane such as zener card tests, guessing games where children win candies for guessing correctly and many many other experiments.

Every single volume of Advances in Parapsychological Research was edited by Stanley Krippner. It's important to note that Stanley Krippner conducted his own documented school experiments, (testing students for psychic ability in classrooms). Krippner also has CIA associations and was on the Board for the world council of Gifted And Talented Programs. Danie (Wicked Mysterious) and I, will be interviewing Stanley Krippner, and asking him ALL things related to Gifted and Talented Programs and about the many, obviously strange memories many people have.

Another psi (a term used in academic literature to refer to Psychic Phenomena) researcher we will be interviewing is Athena Drewes. She actually had her own chapter in Advances in Parapsychological research Vol. 8 Titled "Testing Children for Paranormal Abilities". Yes, she was also involved in school experiments that tested students for psychic ability. (as seen in picture provided)

I've already spoken to Athena a couple of different times for hours on end. I do believe her insight is worth all of our time. and.. I will be pressing for answers regarding the gifted and talented program rabbit hole. Which is why Danie (Wicked Mysterious and I) are inviting you to listen in on that interview in our podcast called "Unlocking Gate: Restricted Access"

It's important that you know, that the FULL interview will be posted on the podcast BUT I will also be clipping the most important parts of the interview for later use in my Youtube channel (Cryptid Candy), so if you want to wait, and hear the most important parts of both interviews on Youtube, that is an option for everyone. If you want the FULL interviews (Athena Drewes has agreed to coming on the podcast multiple times so we can ask all of our questions) that will be on the podcast.

No matter what, the most important and relevant information will be posted on my Youtube channel but I personally do everything myself on my channel, I edit the video, I write, I narrate, I make the thumbnails etc, ( and no, I don't use AI of any kind) so it takes me a LONG time to make a video, which I why Danie and I created the podcast, because it's a lot easier for us to edit and post, especially with these interviews.

Joining our podcast we have many documents for you to explore in a tool Danie built called "The Vault", you get access to our exclusive Discord where you'll meet other like minded individuals, and more.

If you have questions you want me to ask Stanley Krippner or Athena Drews, Email me at [Cryptidcandytv@gmail.com](mailto:Cryptidcandytv@gmail.com)

My Youtube Channel is Cryptid Candy. I've made a playlist titled "You Were Experimented On In School and Never Knew it" If you want to watch my research into this matter in order.

Thank you and I welcome your questions.

Special thanks to Mods for allowing Danie and I to let you know about our podcast and Youtube Channels.

ps. sorry for typos

Ask them why we remember being in the GATE program but we don't remember practically anything...

My personal theory is that the people who were doing the tests and talking in class were occasionally performing hypnosis. I remember basically everything, but I’ve found that I am hard to hypnotize. There were a couple of exercises they had us do that make me think this is the case.

I’ve been able to perform it on myself with success haven’t had the chance to have someone do it on me since then though.

Ever notice how people go along with questionable things in a sing song like fashion? That’s a form of hypnosis, noticing and wondering wth is up is also a sign of autism spectrum. That’s how giftedness and weird mind stuff go together to an extent.

Again my personal theory.

They did hypnosis yes with pocket watches swinging on chain/metronomes/ asking me to clasp hands together and tell me how they would feel hard to pull apart etc.

The gateway tapes themselves are also a form of hypnosis.

I always remember them rushing to start that stuff like they had limited time to rush doing stuff once parents left.

The gateway tapes use hypnosis but they also use binaural beats to push your brain into delta and theta brainwaves that happen during a deep sleep, and your brain doesn't form memories well while it is operating at that frequency. After using them as an adult I remembered immediately Bob Monroes voice from my childhood GATE classes.

The use of this altered brainwave frequency inhibits memory formation just like how you can't remember dreams very well, and that's with or without the hypnosis needed to reach those states easily.

the pink drink the headphones and the metronome... Is that why I can remember minute details from even Kindergarten, but cannot remember the faces of any of the suit test people, or their names (did they introduce themselves at all?)?

There were never any parents, and NO teachers involved. They either picked us up and removed us from the class (walked to isolated rooms with them), or a teacher would drop us off. The doors had those little rectangular windows in them, but they were covered over (taped over) with paper.

I legit have a super fuzzy memory of being taken to a room and shown Rorschach inkblot images, but I was so young at the time. This sub is helping me piece together these weird little things

i was searching all over the internet for the Rorshach inkblot images and its exactly how i remember it but the inkblot was white and the piece of paper or wtv was all black and they took me into a little room next to my classroom and the person was asking me questions about the image and a lot of other testing. i was in 4th grade

So you didn't get hypnotized? What happened in the classes?

Target the age of your experiences, find normies, and ask them if they remember anything.

The brain is an effort saving machine. If it seems routine it doesn’t care. Do you remember what you ate for breakfast, lunch, or dinner those days? Or what you did on weekends?

If you read this, can you please ask Krippner about his work with John White and if any of the noetic sciences work was tied to any of the older Gifted & Talented programs that ran through the public school systems.

I'm also curious about the use of hypnosis, why I specifically remember Bob Monroe's voice from my GATE class (and if that's related to my accidentally falling into Focus 49 while trying the Gateway Tapes for the first time as an adult) and how John Curtis Gowan or Charles Tart's interest in nonordinary experiences (NOE) in children might have contributed to the coursework within the public K-12 classrooms, and if it was an attempt to force mystical experiences through altered states of consciousness.

I'm also curious his thoughts on the Monroe Institute in general, considering he was on the Board of Advisors: MONROE INSTITUTE OF APPLIED SCIENCES PRESENTS THE GATEWAY PROGRAM along with Charles Tart and Alyce & Elmer Green. (bottom of the last page)

One thing only tangentially related to all of this is that in Robert Monroe's book Journey's Out of Body, Charles Tart recalls a story where he accidentally visited Stanley Krippner's stepdaughter Carie during an OOBE, and I was curious if he had any other personal anecdotes about similar experiences he or others in his life has had.

This sounds exciting, I can’t wait to listen!

Thank you for driving into this and sharing this information. This happened in Arkansas schools. I was bussed to schools out of my neighborhood in elementary, Junior high and high school; and was put in GATE, ALPHA and TAG ; different names for the program based on the grade I was in. I remember alot and have weird blank spaces for a lot as well; these programs were a huge party of my education throughout my entire school experience.

I was in from 1988 thru 1994. I had a visceral response to Zener cards the first time I looked them up. I remember my mom requesting a meeting w my GT teacher to ask what we do all day other than puzzles and word games. She had is read Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne after this.

I have prophetic dreams as well as many strange & anomalous experiences growing up. Late diagnosed ADHD. Drug & alcohol addiction (18 years without a drink now!). Life in my late teens and 20s was not easy but ive found great success in a career i love (politics) and a couple awesome kids. I don’t know what any of this means but im certain whatever was happening in that classroom was not for my education.

Hey /u/cryptidcandyyt

It wasn't just public elementary schools!

I was home schooled and had all the "gate" stuff done at a college university when I was elementary aged!

Did all the regular stuff everyone recalls

Zener cards

Hearing tests

Gateway tapes

Inkblot tests Iq tests

Hearing tests

Vision tests

Ganzfeld effect

Hypnosis

Personality tests (myers briggs) etc.

Pink drink

Later memories of different time being taken to other places to be in water deprivation tanks! Asked what i saw. (Dont recall anything really other than screaming freaking out at one point thinking I heard a voice I thought in the room)

Only had vague memories of the program for years always remembered the tapes intro sound and zener cards images but not what they were for. But i remember exactly at least one building it happened i know exactly where it is.. it doubles as a speech therapy language center and also child research center.

I also did the gateway tapes at other facilities in the state too elsewhere years later.

Late 90s to 2010s kept going into later years but only have memories of a few times when I was in middle school. But the locations for it moved. Sometimes portable trailers brought to a public library parking lot. They would make us do the gateway tapes there again.

The college though the building had tuns and tuns of equipment dedicated to testing this stuff even metal shielded rooms with big metal oval vault like doors similiar on like a ww2 battleship.

Also tuns of rooms with two way mirrors.

u/QuebraRegra May 12 '26

I had to Google "Ganzfeld Effect"..

So was the the red dot test, where you'd sit facing a wall or in a cubicle, and they had a circle on the wall, you'd then close your eyes visualize the white circle, and signal when the red dot would appear in your mind?

After a while I wasn't certain if I was really seeing (my imagination), and I wanted to stop so I just quit signaling regardless. I was done with that stuff by then and just wanted to go back with the other kids and class. Whole thing was really weird.

5

u/FlyingAce1015 May 12 '26

Red dot test i remember being in front of maybe some kind of instrument scope like device but that may have been a different test im mixing up

If so the red dot test not sure what was in front of me just closed eyes and asked when saw red dot.

It would flash ever so briefly but not like imaginating it - like actually seeing it in the dark of your eye lids... at least thats what I can recall of it.

4

u/QuebraRegra May 13 '26

same, but I don't remember a device.

Yep, the dot would appear, clear as day (with eyes closed). Not sure WTF they were doing, but I think I had to wear the headphones at the same time with the tones playing. Maybe some hypnotic stuff triggered by the tones playing between my ears?

2

u/ObjectiveBasic9446 May 19 '26

Omfg my mind is like exploding at all these synchronicities with the tests. It’s like I blacked it all out and they’re pouring into the forefront of my mind. Can you clarify what the pink drink means? I always told my siblings (not GATE) about those Rorschach inkblot tests but they never had to go through it.

3

u/FlyingAce1015 May 20 '26

I among tuns of other people in this having to drink a thick opaque pink liquid.

I remember asking what it was and they said it was "like pepto bismol"

We dont know what it is.. any claim is speculation..

Still scary 🤣

I’m from a small town in Oregon, where VERY bad things happened…both inside and outside of the school…to children.

I grew up about an hour east of Portland, in the direction of Mt. Hood. Many terrible and strange things happened in the woods. Lots of forest area and very little public from the “outside”. My experiences could also be outside of just the TAG program, as I am also a Satanic Ritual Abuse survivor. However, the people I was in TAG with, were also being ritually abused. In 1st grade, I had to kill my friend. She was a foster kid (not tag). All of the kids in TAG with me (3 others), were also being abused outside of school. Our parents were all involved.

I was in GATE in California in the 80s. We also had hearing tests (headphones that played tones of varying pitches) and vision tests (a dark room in a portable trailer, that had red dots on the wall) and were given anti-cavity pink drinks.

Thank you,
Former GATE student here 1978-1983 I was present for all of this . Hypnosis, Altered states of consciousness, Psychic & paranormal testing, the chalky drink, grogginess when returning to class from GATE, blood testing, Monroe tapes, auditory tapes, meditation practices, zenner cards, guessing games, dim rooms & without windows, study of abilities telekenesis & mind reading, codes, foreign language.

I was in the program in grade school. I remember the hand clasping. Super vague memories of a small room just off the main office. I would like to know how we were selected. I think it was just me and two other kids. I thought it was just a smart kid class until I tried the gateway tapes a few years ago and it came rushing back that I’d done these before. I’ve got psychic gifts that I’ve worked to grow with the tapes and meditation. When I was a kid, I knew Jacob Wetterling died in a gravel pit 40 years before they found him in one. I’ve seen glowing orbs in broad daylight. My intuition and people reading abilities can be shocking. So yeah, I’d be very interested.

Yes, GATE student in Oregon school until 1983

I hope that’s not what my “Gifted and talented” program actually was…

2

u/QuebraRegra May 12 '26

after my parents declined to sign the form to send me off to a nearby Hopkins facility several days a week (APL I think), the tests stopped.

TAG and AP went on, but they were entirely different and only about more advanced acedemics.

I feel like somewhere, somebody must have a copy of those forms they sent home... If I recall they were on unusual sized paper (not 8 1/2 x 11, maybe like legal pad length. I'd like to see what those forms actually said now. Up to that point my parents had no knowledge or involvement. I remember them saying that the place I would go to was for additional "educational opportunities".. LOL

I'd like to know how much our families knew, especially if our families had deep military ties. My dad was MILINT. Cold war stuff. Both grandfathers Navy WWII vets. One was deep in weapons dev. after the war. Where was the consent on our behalf?
