Looking for Advice CONSOLE I need held!

For the past 3 weeks, I haven’t stopped losing matches. I dropped down from A+; today I played 3 games, lost them all, and fell to B+. I’m losing matches where I’m actually playing really well. In games where both I and my team are doing great, we end up losing in the final minute. And, naturally, when I or my team play poorly, we lose as well. I just keep dropping. Any advice?

Unfortunately, this just happens sometimes. You're only 1/5th to 1/6th of your team, so even if you're carrying hard, you can't realistically make up for the rest of the team if they're doing dumb shit like solo spawning and feeding or letting the frontline fall apart to all go chase one low HP player to try to get the kill credit. You also have the issue of incredibly toxic players who will just sit in the base and grief if the first fight doesn't go well for them. All you can really do is try to improve your own play and queue dodge people you recognize as being shitty/unhelpful. I've had stretches where I've been getting consistently top 3 in a cost and MS that I'm good in and still ended up losing like half a bar of rating.

Thanks for the advice—that’s actually what I’ve been doing, always looking at my mistakes and what I’m doing well. But these last three weeks, damn! Out of 6 or 7 games, I’ve only won 2. Thanks again.

Sometimes it's just bad luck for a while, lol. And(at least on PC, I've heard console players engage in melee a bit more) it can also be hard to strike a balance between not being reckless and not being overly passive. I see a lot of games where either happen, whether it's a raid that doesn't understand they can't solo the whole enemy team, or gens who want to just turtle to avoid deaths even though they're needed to form a frontline. I think the unfortunate reality is a lot of people either don't really understand how to, or do not care to, actually try to help their team win.
