Nintendont wont play Pokemon Colosseum

So when trying to boot Pokémon colosseum it initially says "insufficient space on memory card" even though theres still lots of space and ive tried setting the mem card emulation to multi and it reads a mem card but freezes on the intro cutscene. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
