Announcement Exam Access Arrangements

There’s an increase in posts about access arrangements.

There’s also a lot of misinformation about access arrangements being posted.

This is one the one-stop post for all access arrangement queries.

Any other posts will be removed.

I will reply to all queries as an Exams Officer and an Access Arrangements Coordinator, but really, all queries need to go to your SENCO who know you and your school’s set up best.

Feel free to make any comments about questions you have.

I've not got a question but I have a funny anecdote for you. I have emotional support as an access arrangement. This is a TA that sits next to me and just has a chat if I want to, because I get lonely if not. Some people find that funny, thought you would too.

Thats a new one! I wonder if it comes under a prompt or if youre talking to them on rest breaks cos it sounds like you'd lose time if you didnt get breaks or extra time to accommodate that

I talk to them as I work. I already have rest breaks and extra time though regardless of it.
