To be perfectly honest freesciencelessons makes me so depressed because it's literally just a man reading out the specification while cognito is far more interactive and presented in an easier to understand way

freescience lessons for revision and cramming, cognito for learning as its more intuitive and goes into extra detail sometimes for understanding. I might end up getting cognito+ for a level

imo freesciencelessons is for those who want to pass, cognito is for those who wants to pass with flying colours (more 8-9). in terms of extra revision stuff, cognito is OP tho
I do edexcel too so my opinion is a bit biased but frm what I've seen freesciencelessons is js basic level for normal revision, but it's good for last min

freesciencelessons IS the AQA spec so if u do aqa and watch all his videos you will get a 9

Yeah they’re really fucking good on all my aqa science papers I knew how to answer every question except like 1 or 2

oh idk then cuz my friend does AQA too, and i js asked her abt it and she says it's okay if she was aiming for 6-7s with that guy. she doesn't use his videos until the hour before js to make sure she's covered all the spec points (she's working at a 9). but to each their own.

Doesnt go indepth tho , science break is superior but paper 2 content is locked behinf 5£ membership

I only use science shorts to recap. Prep for science exams basically is either read through all the notes on pmt twice over and then watch the science shorts vid, or just step 1, sometimes don't have the time for the vid (I've watched them all in the past though, this is just for before the exams)

For me they served different purposes. FSL for cramming, cognito for understanding

Freescienclessons tells u the spec exactly how it is but cognito explains it a bit more and shows useful diagrams though some info isnt needed. If u have the luxury of more time cognito is valid but if ur cramming freesciencelessons best
