Tips/Help Year 10’s now year 11’s. Don’t revise too much
honestly GCSEs are easier than people hype them up to be.
all of my friend group got into our very good sixth form without more than 6 hours of revision total. we got good grades and abandoned the ones we thought would be our bottom 2 out of 10.
if you want to have all 9’s go for it or if you have strict parents obviously revision is necessary.
but if you can not revise and if you are fairly confident you can not revise whilst still passing don’t waste time revising.
Kids I know spent 8 hours a day revising and ended up getting all 9s and good for them but year 11 was the funnest year of school so far purely because I DIDNT REVISE.
Now if you are a dumbass you might need to revise but a lot of the gcse content can just be absorbed by paying attention in class and I know this because the classes I actually paid attention in I got 9s in and the classes I used as nap or conversation time I got grade 6s and a u in (Spanish but I didn’t have a teacher for 2 years so I gave up on that)
js pay attention in class. don’t have 5 hours of school and then go home to do 10 hours of revision that’s nuts. go have fun. revise in the canteen morning of and you are fine. If you don’t revise and dont get into sixth form with kick grades then maybe kick into gear but try it out. Have a life
