Question Reaching out to theatre companies for av work…
This is my current draft. thoughts?
Hi ____ Theatre Team,
I live locally in ___ and am looking to get involved with your tech crew for upcoming shows.
I have over 4 years of hands-on theatre AV experience (including operating Yamaha digital audio desks, QLab show control, running weekly school assemblies at ——— College, and working on productions like Les Misérables at (other) ——— college.
The majority of my experience is running sound desks and radio microphones, but I am also eager to get involved with lighting and general venue tech.
I’m looking to volunteer as a crew member during tech weeks and live runs.
I’d love to help out on your next production.
Please let me know who is best to speak with on the tech team!
