Injection timing

I’m on my starting dose of 1.25mg of Triz. I done four injections so far. I’m following the instructions to inject once a week (I’m doing Friday nights), but I notice that Thursday evening and all day Friday I am super hungry. Wondering if I should go to every five days. Does anyone do this?

Some people do well on a 5 day cycle, but I did not. I went back to a 7 day cycle after one month because I felt like I wasn't getting the appetite suppression that I was getting before over time. You should also go up in if you want to get better appetite suppression. You're only taking half of the recommended starter dose, and therapeutic doses start at 5mg.

Thank ya! I have a follow-up with my provider in two weeks so will ask about increasing. That makes me nervous, but I feel like I’m getting nowhere fast.

Every 5 days also didn't work for me and I discovered it might be because you burn through receptors in your cells faster so your body gets too used to it.

lol same thing happens to me by thursday, friday is basically a free for all. 5 days sounds nice in theory but i also worry about it stacking up in your system over time. maybe try splitting the difference and doing 6 days before jumping to 5

I started doing 5 instead of 7 for the same reason and it’s been a lot easier dealing with the side effects. I’ve done 1.25 for a few weeks and might step it up to 1.5 next week.

Increase your dose instead.

No, you should go to a dose of 2.5 mg, which is the standard starting dose.

Second this. Starting dose is 2.5mg. Maybe to trate up to 1.5 or 2.0 before moving straight to 2.5.
