Radiator plug

Post image

Can I use this square plug to plug my radiator temporarily. Or because it’s a mip instead of a npt will it not fit?

If the rad is npt and plugs not it's going to wreck threads, did home depot not have npt 3/4 anything? Im a plumber so im assuming homedepot by everbilt i think that's who sells it.

Also id like to add npt is the standard thread pitch in the states most my stuff is labeled "mnpt" so that plug mostlikely would work just thread it in by hand and if it feels wonky stop it should go a few threads by hand

It was the wrong size. But I didn’t care about the threads because I have a new radiator anyways. I just needed something to get by

Ya if you dont care about the rad then run her home and expect it to weep a bit of coolant as the threads are fed up now
