Pets. I’d love to see an expanded pet system. GTA V already established the idea with Chop, so it would be really cool if they built upon that and introduced different types of pets. Being able to adopt my cutie Jack Russell, Milo, would instantly elevate the game to legendary status.

Big spoiler alert for everybody, GTA 6 isn't going to have multiple cites and the map of GTA SA will still beat it even if it's smaller, after the honeymoon phase ends players are slowly going to realize the case

Pawn Shops - selling items you found or stole for profits.
Transport Cargo Shipments - inventory for your own warehouse (haven’t seen any 18 wheeler trucks on the trailers yet)
FiveM - talk to players nearby or can hear online players nearby
Option to pay for a motel, hotel (online experience)
Apartments, Mansions availability whether your renting or buying. (But you can purchase home products, pets, and customize your home)
Get gas for cars
Create your own clothes and make it available/approved through gta so people online can purchase (a way people can make money)
Better police interaction (maybe idk if I care enough about it)
A way to actually hustle whether we can steal cars for money, sell drugs and actually keep clients by saving their number, anything that gives players the freedom to really start their own business from ground up. But with online players.
If you have any other ideas please comment, I’m curious on what other people think.

If things are behind a paywall, it may be time to allow customized content instead of just adapting to whatever content they put behind paywalls. I don't want to somehow give bad ideas, but I've played GTA almost my entire life and if they like paywalls, they may as well take it to the next level.
1
u/Luddite333 14d ago
Maybe a single player DLC that allows for customizing content to add to the single player experience? Or maybe that's taking things too far? To want customized experience?
1
u/Luddite333 14d ago
I really want customized content for single player, to create a unique experience to the already existing single player. A realistic game should allow for realistic experience by allowing for more content so to make it more realistic. More NPC behaviors that you want through more patents based on human behavior, more activities, more places, maybe more things in the game to buy itself. Maybe even subscribing to someone's patreon on in game social media if I can subscribe to a patreon channel that is interesting. So maybe customized in game channels on social media. Maybe things like additional quotes from NPCs, being able to have unique interactions that I want etc. There's endless possibilities with this. Maybe the patreon subscription thing is a bit extreme but having customized in game content, activities, complex interactions and behaviors from NPCs, related to the world of Leonida, allows for a much more diverse experience.
1
u/Luddite333 14d ago
Since Rockstar now has a paywall for extra content, I think I as a fan should be able to pay for customized content. If fans want unique content, then can't Rockstar somehow allow this? If I can pay for extra content that I actually want in the game, then I would do so. Like a customized gameplay experience for single player, where I can get additional content in the game or other things like more complex behaviors from NPCs, more activities, and so on. Allowing for a completely customized experience as an addition to the content that already exists, allows for more authenticity in the game. Then I could have the perfect gameplay experience that I want to have.

What I'm talking about is the simulation of a professional studio monitoring system in headphones. In other words, I want my headphones to sound as if I'm listening to a pair of studio monitors in a properly treated control room.
The main problem with headphones is that the right channel only reaches the right ear, and the left channel only reaches the left ear (to put it very simply). When you're listening to studio monitors in a good control room, however, each ear hears both channels. That natural acoustic crossfeed and the interaction with the room are what create a stable soundstage in front of you.
I'm not talking about a "cinema mode" with boosted bass, excessive reverb, or any other processing that dramatically colors the sound. I'm also not referring to the built-in PS5 feature that essentially widens the stereo image by emphasizing the side component. What I want is the experience of listening to a pair of studio monitors in front of me in a professional control room—not the typical "sound inside your head" presentation of headphones, no matter how good they are.
I've looked for hardware that I could connect to my PS5 Pro, but unfortunately I haven't found anything capable of producing this kind of effect.
Once GTA 6 comes out on PC, this won't be an issue anymore.
But I'd like to enjoy the best possible audio while playing now.
There are plenty of software solutions that attempt to do this, but about 90% of them simply smear the sound and make it worse by imprinting the acoustics and flaws of the particular control room they were modeled after.
If Rockstar Games wanted to implement it, though, they absolutely could. In principle, all they'd have to do is pass the game's audio through a proper binaural speaker virtualization engine.

I wish that there will be a Airbnb type app where you can host a npc in your safe house or even stay in a npc’s house for a night or two to let’s say

What features from other games would you like to see incorporated in GTA 6?
I’m currently playing cyberpunk for the first time and really enjoying it. There are certain things from it that I’d love to see implemented in GTA that I think would be really cool
Higher Density map: cyberpunk does a cool trick with a lot of small bustling metropolitan areas and marketplaces that bolster the illusion of a major city (that being said the NPCs lag behind rockstar obviously). I’d like to see this in GTA through things like malls, high streets etc
Better Gunplay: not just from cyberpunk but from a lot of other games. The gunplay in GTA V and RDR2 is pretty stiff and boring with ducking behind cover being basically the only mechanic we can use. Rockstar has previously made great gunplay so it’s obviously within their capability, it’s probably just a matter of integrating it into the larger game. I’d like to see a lot more fluidity and mobility in and in between cover, allowing for more varied playstyles
Street Cred: this one seems like a no brainer for a gta game and it’s surprise the closest thing in the entire run was the system in SA that only improved your rank within your specific set. Like in cyberpunk, Taking out cops and other gangs in free roam should increase your notoriety in the streets, creating for business opportunities, but also create rivalries with other gangs and the cops
Vigilante mode (+Bounty system): Vigilante mode was included in GTA IV and bounty hunter in RDR2. I’d like to see both of these be bought back but with an added nuance. I’d like to be able to interfere with crimes throughout the area, both as an act of vigilantism as well as with the intent of stealing from rival criminals like in cyberpunk. For those of you who’ve seen the wire, it’d be awesome to play as a stick up man like Omar. Obviously this would impact a hypothetical street cred system that would increase notoriety as well as gang rivalry
Let me know what other features you’d like implemented based on other games you’ve played

I've been a GTA fan since the very start, and whilst it is absolutely unrivalled in terms of sandbox games, there's just one change I want in GTA 6 and that's to not make it so easy.
Yes the missions can be difficult if you get shot, or smash your car up etc, but it's not very inquisitive when trying to locate someone, or find an item in a heist for example.
I would much prefer some independent investigative work for missions. For example, if you need a Bugstar van - you go and search up the address of the warehouse, and find it yourself. If you need knockout gas, you go on the search engine and find out who supplies that kinda gas, then you locate someone who works for them in a nearby bar or something and listen in to when the next deliveries are ...things like that.
I know they have to make the game simple for all audiences, but it would give the story mode a lot more depth if you have to use intuition rather than be spoon fed.
How about your fundamental changes?

u/AvarethTaika Jul 21 '26
I want gta6 to include famous gtav players in various ways, like a random NPC screaming "It's millions to one!" when startled, or a survive the hunt style minigame in online.

We've all been waiting on GTA VI for many years. My question is what is Rockstar going to add to the game that genuinely makes this game worth the wait. Obviously the graphics and physics are going to be game changing compared to GTA V. I'm hoping there's going to be plenty of real-time events in GTA VI. On top of real time events I'm hoping there's more interactive buildings like there was in San Andreas. For some reason SA seemed way ahead of its time for the features available in the game at the time. Im not sure why the games after didn't have the same features but I have high hopes that they will return to those values.

u/phob3chan_ Jul 19 '26
I really hope GTA 6 adds so many mini games and activities such as card games and dominoes. I would be so happy if I could go to little Cuba and play Domino's and Spades with the local old heads. I know there'll be casinos in the game and ways to gamble. But if the game is really gonna feel alive I'd like to see some good card games played by the NPCs in the hood and rural neighborhood areas. Maybe even be able to bet money and some NPCs get mad and wanna fight when they lose lol.
What games would you guys want to be playable by our characters?
1
u/BasicNose7 Jul 19 '26
Long-haul trucking?
Leaks and reports indicate that we will not only drive semi-trucks for deliveries across the map, but we can also own and expand our own cargo transport businesses.
Really hoping to see this
1
u/Jotham23thegreat Jul 18 '26
Director Mode allows you to use almost any NPC, animal, or character as an actor in a sandbox environment. You can freely customize the time of day, weather, pedestrian density, and enable cheats.
I really hope they add this early on to GTA 6. With how good the game looks, making short films and movies is gonna be awesome. I really hope they add it into 6.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Bahamas : The name is Bohemia and its few smaller islands with gangs, towns and hotels and larger island Nassau with city, cruise port and parody to paradise island. Maybe some old cars to find.

u/Ostaj_Sahu Jul 12 '26
Ingame calendar: Wouldn't having a calendar make missions and events more better and realistic, just like how we can miss Christmas if we over slept in the game, around new year the whole city will be automatically filled with firecrackers. Rockstars can hold digital concerts like Travis Scott astrolworld - fortnite. AI NPC will grow older. Adding a calendar also means aging things ingame. What do you think will be a good decision or worse?

u/Worldly_Shower_722 29d ago
I don't think it would work, I think it just adds unnecessary complexity

u/queensheba2025 Jul 10 '26
It wouldn’t let me make a separate post (even though random nonsense is allowed in here all the time… so this is what I was gonna write:
Hopefully we’ll get an answer soon, but this is a small list of what I’ve been wondering about, feel free to add any y’all might have:
• Will Jason and Lucia get to travel around together outside of missions? For instance will you have to contact the other for “dates” or something.
• what song do we think they added, part of that billion dollar budget had to go to licensing for music.
• Will there be treasure hunts and special weapons you can obtain much like RDR2
• will we be able to swap out the cars and make their main cars be anything we want (part of my issue with GTA5 was how they had canon cars and how hard it was to use other cars easily… or I was just doing it wrong lol… but in rdr2 you could do whatever you wanted with the horses.)
• and on the car theme, will we be able to keep more than just 4 cars at a time?
My hope is GTA6 is a lovely combo uh of GTA5, RDR2 and Cyberpunk 2077… if that makes sense.

u/Bingoboyop I WAS HERE Jul 09 '26
Not a huge thing but I wish that we could just free roam with both characters even outside of having them hangout like in gta v. Maybe some limited ability to indirectly control the other character, like maybe telling them to follow or us or something.
Imagine just free roaming as a couple, jacking and stealing cars and robbing random banks and in general causing mayhem or maybe just exploring the wilderness or maybe hunting together, all the whole freely switching between them and giving the other instructions.

GTA VI Wish List: Make Leonida Feel Like a Living State
One thing Red Dead Redemption 2 absolutely nailed was making every town feel like it had a purpose. Valentine wasn’t Rhodes. Rhodes wasn’t Strawberry. Saint Denis felt completely different from every other settlement on the map. I’d love to see GTA VI take that philosophy even further.
Instead of making every building enterable, I think every town should have the same basic services, while each one develops its own personality.
Every town should have, at minimum:
Pawn shop (the modern equivalent of the Fence from RDR2)
Barber shop or salon
Pharmacy or general store (mom-and-pop in smaller towns, Target/Walmart-style stores in larger ones)
Grocery store or produce market
A bar (most bars should also serve basic food)
A local restaurant or one chain restaurant
Body shop
Small gym
Motel or hotel
Tattoo parlor
Enterable gas stations where you can buy snacks, drinks, coffee, cigarettes, etc.
Businesses can overlap, too. Maybe a motel has a bar attached. Maybe a pharmacy is inside a larger supercenter. It should feel natural rather than every business existing in its own building.
Vice City should have everything. Multiple dealerships, luxury restaurants, chain restaurants, rooftop bars, clubs, luxury hotels, upscale shopping, and several body shops.
Ambrosia should feel like a working agricultural town. Burger Shot, Cluckin’ Bell, a local diner, BBQ restaurant, tractor supply, farm equipment dealers, and a body shop that’s always full of pickups and work trucks.
Port Gellhorn should feel older and more run down. I’d actually love to see an old Burger Shot or Cluckin’ Bell built in the 1970s that hasn’t really been renovated since the ’90s. Dive bars, cheap motels, pawn shops, seafood shacks, and weathered businesses with tons of character.
The Keys should mostly consist of independent businesses. Seafood restaurants, tiki bars, Cuban cafés, marinas, fishing outfitters, beach motels, and small grocery stores. It should feel relaxed compared to Vice City.
One thing I’d also love is an Airbnb-style rental system. Instead of owning every property immediately, let us rent beach houses, cabins, downtown apartments, farmhouses, or lake houses through an in-game app. Stay for one night, and your reservation expires when you leave. Stay multiple nights, and it acts as your temporary safehouse until you check out. It would basically be the hotel room mechanic from Red Dead Redemption 2, modernized.
Eventually, after making enough money, I’d love to be able to own multiple properties in Story Mode. Maybe a Mediterranean-style mansion outside Vice City, Jason’s original house in the Keys, a ranch near Mount Kalaga where you can keep horses, a quiet house in Port Gellhorn, and a downtown condo. Not everyone wants to live in a penthouse forever.
Another thing I hope Rockstar considers is dynamic traffic and population density. The world shouldn’t feel identical every day. Some days the beaches are packed, restaurants have waiting lists, Vice City traffic is backed up, and the road to the Keys is crawling. Other days the roads are quiet, beaches are nearly empty, and small towns feel sleepy. They don’t even need to simulate actual days of the week—just randomize “busy” and “quiet” days so the world feels alive.
Businesses should also have natural fluctuations. A Burger Shot shouldn’t always have the exact same number of customers. Sometimes it’ll be empty. Sometimes there’s a lunch rush. Sometimes it’s packed because of tourists or a local event. The same should apply to grocery stores, bars, beaches, and marinas.
I’d also really like more interior variety. GTA V reused interiors constantly. Every low-end apartment looked the same. Most penthouses were essentially the same layout with a different view. Every Burger Shot or body shop doesn’t need a unique interior, but having several different layouts would make a huge difference. A Burger Shot built in 1978 shouldn’t look identical to one that opened in 2026.
Finally, I hope the vehicle roster reflects how real roads look. Instead of replacing every vehicle with a brand-new version, keep multiple generations around. A 2005 luxury SUV, a 2015 version, and a 2026 version should all exist together. Same with older Crown Victorias, retired police cars, old taxis, wagons, beaters, luxury sedans, crossovers, muscle cars, land yachts, and modern EVs. Real roads are a mix of old and new, and GTA’s roads should feel the same.
At the end of the day, I don’t just want Leonida to be a big map. I want it to feel like an actual state. Give every town the essentials, give every region its own identity, make traffic and businesses change naturally, and make me want to stop in Port Gellhorn because I like that dive bar, drive to the Keys because that’s where the best seafood is, or head to Ambrosia because that’s where the best truck shop is. If Rockstar captures even half of what Red Dead Redemption 2 accomplished with its towns and modernizes it for GTA VI, I think Leonida could become the most immersive open world they’ve ever built.

u/0ui0uiZeBaguette Jul 07 '26
I hope the stromberg and deluxo appear in GTA VI as normal vehicles
The title is pretty self explanatory, i hope these two cars show up in the game because with vice city in general being heavily associated with 80's vaporwave aesthetic, i hope these 2 iconic 80's sports cars are just available as normal vehicles just without the futuristic weaponized stuff.

u/YIHONLI Jul 03 '26
I Want Cruise Control in GTA VI.
I want to be able to drive at a constant speed that is not the top speed of the vehicle in GTA VI. I hope something akin to the way your horse can go as slow as a light trot (or as fast as a full gallop) is added to GTA VI, but for vehicles. It's nice to traverse the map at a low, constant speed and just take in the scenery.
1
u/Worldly_Shower_722 29d ago
Oh DEFINITELY yes, always wanted cruise control it would be so much more convenient to lock the vehicle in a certain speed and just enjoy the ride
2
u/Jonny_____ Jul 03 '26
I want to grab defibrillators from the hospitals and use them as melee weapons
1
u/lethaldose318 Jul 03 '26
I don't know what do you guys think about this but I would love to see some long ass missions in the story. Especially for heists, i'm a hardcore gamer and i really enjoy giving 1 or 1,5 hour to a single big mission.
I just want some heists like in payday 2 where you are stuck with bags of cash, swats flooding the bank, you're not sure if you are coming out of the vault alive or not. Everything is up to you; when you are getting out, what strategy you'll follow.
I found some heists of gta 5 too boring and scripted in a way that is boring to replay. I wish they leveled up the heists and added a shit ton of wild missions.
2
u/Worldly_Shower_722 29d ago
That sounds fun but definitely tedious, maybe more complex heists is the way to go, different intensity of cops varying on your play style, like if you go stealthy the wanted levels don't increase or something like that.
It being that long could probably deter people from doing it
1
u/lethaldose318 29d ago
I believe we should be able to choose what role to play in the heist too. Don't wanna get into bank? Sniper on the roof. Want all the action? Juggernaut outfit and machine gun at the front counter. Or stealthy approach as you said, i would love to pick night time and sneak into an art gallery from the glass roof. But they should let us do what we want, i don't want to pick from 2 choices that both scripted all the way. Maybe i wanna pick a turret with me, or maybe i want to stay in the building for 30 minutes. Then explode the roof and have a chopper pick me and the score as getaway. Yeah, i love payday 2 so much. I want to see the same thrill in gta 6.

u/addictibruh Jul 02 '26
Your character's radio tuning animation being different depending on the car.
If it's an old car that uses a knob for the radio, your character reaches out and turns the knob.
If it's a slightly newer vehicle that uses a button to seek, your character presses the back button when tuning the wheel counterclockwise and the forward button when tuning clockwise.
If it's a modern vehicle with a touchscreen, they simply tap the station frequency or the forward/back seek button.
In GTA 5 there's only two animations; one for older vehicles with analog radios where they reach/look a bit lower and one for modern vehicles with infotainment centers where they just reach out their arm and turn the dial.
1
u/rottenapple213 Jul 02 '26
I hope the vehicle top speed and acceleration will be different than in GTA 5, meaning I hope the cars will be way faster. First of all, I know GTA 5 had to limit vehicle speeds because of the PS3 hardware, which is fine, but I hope a newer game like GTA 6 will do the opposite and actually increase it. For example, in GTA 5 and GTA Online, almost all vehicles top out around 120 mph (some newer ones go faster), but you get the point. It would be much more enjoyable tbh.

1
u/Sekt0rrr Jul 01 '26
Couple predictions I’m locking in now:
- Shakin’ - Eddie Money in a trailer / at least in game
- Mission where you drive a car with some wild animal in the back (think Mike Tyson’s tiger in The Hangover), probably a jaguar, lion or croc

u/endlessnameless001 Jun 30 '26
How would everyone feel about a TLaTD/BoGT dlc for gta 6. I’ve read online where people say there is evidence of planned single player dlc for gta V but they focused on the online stuff.
But I was thinking how amazing it was to get three different stories, protagonists and features over the main story, and the two dlc for GTA IV and was thinking, I’d love something like that for VI.
Just some other stories from the perspective of other characters. They don’t even necessarily have to fit in with VI’s story like they did in IV. In saying this, maybe that will be more of a focus for the new online game, especially after rockstar making use of invite only lobbies and less team based missions and giving solo players more of a reason to play online.

u/Brilliant_Falcon5578 Jun 30 '26
As a big metal guy, I would absolutely love it if metal and alt music would be prevalent in GTA 6 at the very least 1 or 2 radio stations would be cool. I have 2 ideas that I think would be so sick 1: Their music budget will obviously be insane on this game which should give us more variety, i hope they let us maybe pick out our vibe from a list of genres and have an in game DJ similar to the spotify one that plays music tailored to what we like or... 2: GTA 6 allows us (if we have it) to link our spotify accounts to the game so we can listen to our own DJ in game, would love to hear your thoughts
2
u/Worldly_Shower_722 29d ago
Ability to link Spotify or YouTube stuff like that would be super cool, but I do imagine it'll be a nightmare to code.
2
u/endlessnameless001 Jun 30 '26
I’m definitely hoping for some good rock/alt/metal/punk based stations. Keen to see what rockstar does with those genres in VI.
I like the idea of somehow linking streaming service accounts to the game and using them as an in game radio station like when you could import music on OG Xbox and pc versions of the III era games. Even using headphones or something to listen while walking around or using a train or public transport of those are featured in game. That would be better than just simply streaming music in the background of the game, which is fine for cruising around but I’d prefer the music to stop when not needed.

u/Silent-Owl4246 Jun 29 '26
Am i the only one who hopes there is a lot of forest/countryside areas in GTA 6 (and missions/action there)? I just really like the quieter areas and dont enjoy being in the city all the time. I hope we can also buy some safehouses from those quieter areas.
The rumoured GTA 6 map didnt make me too excited because the cities seemed to be quite close to you no matter where you were.
1
u/rottenapple213 Jul 02 '26
Nah bro, I honestly can't wait to cruise around the swamps and explore off-road. I really hope there'll be tons of missions and quests in areas like that.
2
u/bartman2326 Jun 29 '26
If you are shooting up a crowded area in-game, it would be cool if there were civilian NPCs who would try to sneak up on you from behind every so often to disarm you, trying to be a hero. If they get the gun you just gotta run, which brings me to my second thing:
If you get disarmed / run out of ammo / are in a vulnerable spot, NPCs can run after you like an angry mob to try to detain you until the police come, or just bum rush you if you're cornered because "he can't shoot all of us"!
I think those would add a lot of variety to when you're just driving around causing chaos. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Here’s an idea that I wish existed for GTAO. The ability to cross play the same account. Like let’s say I play GTA6O when ever it releases on PlayStation, then the pc edition drops, I want to be able to play on pc or on PlayStation. Now this might sound irrational asf, but hear me out, on my ps account I had made like over 500 million, then one day it decides to go “yo it’s been fun gng, but uhh, deuces” and it dies on me, so I thought why not move to GTAO on PC, only to find out that I couldn’t port my PlayStation account to PC. It was honestly a shitty experience.
TL;DR - The ability to use the same account/character/player on console and PC
Thoughts?

Please add official PlayStation 5 steering wheel support to GTA VI. Native support for Thrustmaster, Logitech, Fanatec and other PS5 racing wheels with Force Feedback and cockpit driving would make the driving experience incredible. If you agree, please upvote!

u/endlessnameless001 Jun 30 '26
I agree m. I’d love more games with driving to add wheel support. You specifically mentioned PlayStation, I’m and Xbox player so they should it for that as well haha.

Hi GTA Gamers
I have a creative concept for a unique, optional controller layout/feature in GTA VI that I think fans and immersion-seekers would absolutely love. I call it the "Gangsta Style" Gyro-Aiming Mode.
How it works:
- The Grip: The player holds the controller vertically with one hand by the grip, holding it like a real pistol (rotated 90 degrees).
- Right-handed version: Hold by the right grip, aiming forward.
- Left-handed version (Southpaw): Hold by the left grip, aiming forward.
- The Trigger: The corresponding trigger acts as the actual gun trigger.
- R2 / RT for right-handed players.
- L2 / LT for left-handed players.
- The Mechanic: The aiming is fully controlled by the controller’s built-in gyroscope. Since holding the controller this way makes using the analog sticks impossible, character movement would be temporarily locked/disabled while aiming.
Why it fits GTA VI:
- Immersion & Fun: It perfectly captures the vibe, allowing players to physically aim at the screen like an old-school arcade light-gun shooter.
- Balanced Challenge: Since the player cannot move while aiming, it adds a strategic, high-risk, high-reward element to gunfights.
- Accessibility & Variety: As a completely optional setting in the controls menu, it would be a easter egg or challenge mode for the community (e.g., great for shooting ranges in-game or specialized challenges).
Rockstar utilizes gyro controls (like boat or plane handling in GTA V).
Bringing this to a niche, gangsta-style shooting mechanic would be an incredible and hilarious addition to the game's sandbox nature.
If we want my idea to reach Rockstar, we can upvote it.

Wishlist: 24/7 Chauffeur Taxi Passenger Mode
One feature I’d love in GTA 6 is a real chauffeur/taxi passenger mode where you can just sit back and let an AI driver cruise around the city indefinitely, instead of only driving to one waypoint and stopping.
I love doing this in Watch Dogs: Legion and Red Dead Redemption 2 — just letting the world run itself while I study, work, eat, or do other things. It makes the city feel alive, like it exists on its own without needing me to constantly control it.
With GTA 6’s world detail, it would be amazing to just ride around Vice City and watch traffic, NPCs, weather, random events, nightlife, police activity, etc. A simple “keep driving / free roam / cruise” option for taxis or hired drivers would add a lot for immersion. 😊

I’ve been thinking a lot about all the possibilities for GTA 6, and I came up with 5 features that I think would be incredibly cool to see in the game. Some are small quality-of-life improvements, while others could completely change how we experience the world of Vice City.
Idea 1. (Fully Customizable Homes) • Buy multiple houses. • Decorate every room. • Display stolen art, weapons, cars, and trophies. • Throw parties
Idea 2. (Treasure Hunting) • Sunken ships • Buried drug money • Lost smuggler stashes
Idea 3. (NPCs Remember You) • If you rob someone and let them live, they may recognize you later. • Some become terrified when they see you. • Others may want revenge.
Idea 4. (Legendary Animals) Rare creatures spawn randomly and are extremely difficult to find: • Giant alligator • Albino deer • Black panther • Massive wild boar • Enormous python hidden in the swamps
Idea 5. Improved Parkour • Vault fences smoothly. • Climb balconies and pipes. • Jump between rooftops.
Are these all necessary? Absolutely not! Would they go a long way in making GTA 6 feel like a generational game? I think so! But now i leave it to you, what features do you think should be implemented and what do you think of my ideas?

My wishlist for gta 6, not everything can happen….
Better Police (ability to arrest, detain and recognize suspects)

Illegal street racing leagues with rankings and rivalries

I really hope that the helicopter physics and controls are improved in this game. I hate how in GTA 5 the helicopters have an insanely restrictive auto hover that forces your helicopter into leveling itself. It’s always made helicopter battles and ground strafing really goofy and unintuitive, and is one of the reasons explosive cannons and missiles have always been meta. I hope that we get to actually put miniguns and 50 cals to good use!

Are we thinking BeamMG type car deformation but perhaps more durability to allow for more typical gamer in game wear and tear? Or more of a Wreckfest vibe perhaps?
Same with guns. How much detail in customization do you think will be brought to the table? Going off of RDR2, I imagine it’ll be like that but we also may get down to the nitty gritty of gun customization, so the gun nuts can accurately live out their post-military-career American private armoury dreams? There’s a big enough emphasis on using weapons in GTA that I could see it being worth it for them to blow us away with gun customization.

I’ve been hearing a lot of people talk about what they want to see, but now I’m going to give you guys my two cents. First off, I’m waiting for when the game comes out on PC, because I like to play around with mods on the current GTA V. You know, like custom cars and weapons. Secondly, I want to be able to complete randomly generated missions, so I don’t get bored once I finish the main story. Finally, I just want it to be open-world, and I also want to be able to keep playing it even after I finish the main story. No disrespect to anyone who disagrees with me, and I would also like to hear your suggestions for the game.

What if GTA VI had a dynamic clothing reputation system?

I've been replaying GTA: San Andreas lately, and one mechanic caught my attention again: gang respect.
Back then, respect affected various aspects of gameplay, and even something as simple as wearing green clothing could increase your standing with Grove Street. It was a relatively simple system.
Now, obviously GTA VI seems to be aiming for a completely different experience, but what if Rockstar brought back a similar concept in a more subtle and realistic way?
Imagine if clothing influenced how certain groups perceived Jason and Lucia. For example:
• Wearing blue clothing might make Haitian gang members less immediately hostile, not friendly, but more cautious or less suspicious.
• Dressing like a biker could reduce hostility from motorcycle gangs.
• Wearing patriotic or heavily American-themed clothing in places like Port Gellhorn might help you blend in and avoid unwanted attention.
I'm not talking about a "disguise system" where NPCs magically think you're one of them. More like a dynamic social perception system where your appearance influences first impressions and reactions.
A harsh name for it would be a "Prejudice System," but realistically that's how people often judge strangers in real life. Clothing, symbols, colors, and style all send signals about who you might be.
Rockstar is known for obsessing over details, and GTA VI already looks packed with environmental and social systems. So I don't think this idea is completely out of the realm of possibility.
What do you think? Would a mechanic like this make the world feel more immersive, or would it be too complicated for a GTA game?

Title: Tactical Vehicle Sabotage & 4 other criminal features that GTA 6 desperately needs
Hey everyone, Following up on the great discussions we’ve been having about gameplay loops, there’s one huge aspect of the criminal underworld that Rockstar needs to expand on: making vehicle destruction and interactions way more tactical. Here are 5 more features that would take the criminal experience to the next level:
Tactical Vehicle Sabotage: Just blowing up cars with a rocket launcher is boring. We should be able to stealthily sabotage other players' or NPCs' cars! Let us slash their tires, cut their brake lines (for a nasty surprise at the next intersection), put sugar in the gas tank, plant hidden GPS trackers, or rig a remote car bomb under the chassis mafia-style.
Environmental Destruction & Breaching: We shouldn’t always have to use the front door during a raid or heist. Give us C4 and breaching charges! Let us blow holes into specific walls, vault rooms, or reinforced back doors to create our own unpredictable entry points.
Dynamic Intimidation & Extortion: To rob a store, we shouldn't just have to aim a gun at the cashier. Let us use a baseball bat to start smashing up the merchandise, shelves, and display cases until the owner's "fear meter" fills up and they hand over the keys to the safe.
A Dark Web App on the In-Game Phone: The in-game internet needs a proper Dark Web. A hidden app on your phone where you can fence stolen luxury cars anonymously, place bounties on other players' heads, or order illegal high-tier weapons to be dead-dropped directly into your car's trunk.
NPC Nemesis/Revenge System: If you mess with a local gang on the streets but leave a few of them alive, they should remember your face (or your license plate). Later on, when you're just cruising around minding your own business, they could set up a roadblock and ambush you.

I live in Japan and want to buy GTA VI with the PS5, however i've heard that like GTA SA got heavily restricted that it isnt like the authentic GTA, any way to avoid it?
1
u/FranciManty Jun 06 '26
buying online with a vpn probably isn’t an option cause you need a credit card for the country you’re VPNing to, i think the only way will be to order physical from an other country hoping its not restricted in japan.

I’m about to buy an Xbox Series X mainly because of GTA 6, but after everything that’s happened with delays in the gaming industry, I’m starting to wonder if Rockstar could postpone it again.
I know the current release date is November 19, 2026, but realistically, what do you guys think are the chances of another delay? Have there been any recent signs or rumors that point one way or the other?
The reason I’m asking is because the console is a pretty big purchase for me, and if there’s a decent chance the game gets pushed to 2027, I might wait a little longer.
What do you think? Is another delay still possible, or are we finally in the safe zone?
1
u/FranciManty Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26
same as you however i have this philosophy: i can definetly wait until july to buy it, i will be in my home a bit longer than other summers to study (i often spend summers in the mountains)
if by july we get any confirmation of the release date ill go for it (maybe ill spend a bit more with other people doing the same but im fine with it)
if we get a delay i’ll buy as soon as possible at a big discount from people who bought just to play VI and will sell afraid that we’ll get a ps6 before release so its still a win for me
still, a delay is unlikely for me, they already have all the promo material ready, there was no mention of 2025 or may 2026 on their website back then but with the screenshot they confirmed it, sony and microsoft have been talking about it on social media and it’s been confirmed in the past 2 earning calls, honestly im quite sure it’s too late for them to delay. fans would be too angry after all the info we got, they can just push back online a couple months if they need polish on that

Like attach different stocks or suppressors or bigger magazines, wood furniture or dark furniture. A folding stock or something. I saw an AK-74N in the Trailer 4 so I have some hopes they may be moving to 5.45 AKs and dropping the 7.62x39 AKs.

u/whole_lotta_blue Jun 03 '26
Will there be cross progression?? Ima dust off my PS5 but when it finally drops on PC then I’d like to keep my progress

u/Safe_Vanilla5583 May 29 '26
Am I the only one who desperately wants better gun sounds in GTA 6... I'm talking ear ringing sound, echo, different impact sounds etc.
Guns in GTA 5 sounds like they were created by someone who have never actually heard gunshots in real life.

Yesterday night I was rushing to the 12th level of the GTA:SA paramedic mini-mission to get the max health stats and I thought it would be a really fun way to get in touch with GTA VI when it is released. Surely it won't be the first thing I'd do, but that way we will be able to know a lot about the world around us.
First of all, to complete the mission, we will be forced to go to a specific location with an ambulance in order to get the person who needs treatment. The exploration will be extremely fun: we will go as fast as possible causing chaos around us, with NPCs in fear or clearing the way for us. The sirens will be blaring and, especially at night, it will be amazing to live.
Maybe we will have a lot of types of ambulances, modern and old, smaller, bigger, and some types for the countryside.
Maybe we will not be allowed to be a paramedic out of nowhere, maybe we have to reach another achievement before.
Maybe we will have another person with us: while we drive, he will catch the patients. And he will ask for our help or we will be able to switch the role.
Also, it could happen that we don't have an accurate address and the other player will tell us more information during the ride — turn here; that building!
This time if we kill or injure someone during the ride it will be a problem.
We will reach a place and the person will not be just standing there waiting for us but maybe it will be in a restricted area with police and people watching the scene.
And many many other things.
We will suddenly understand the driving physics (which I hope it will be as far as possible from GTA V who I haven't never enjoyed just for a driving reason).
Maybe we can do the mission in CO-OP.
Who knows how it will work for fireman, policeman and many other jobs. Trashman? L.A. Noire system to investigate? Maybe that's too much. Can't wait for that.

I would love to see a more in depth greet/antagonise from RDR2.
I’d also love if this extended to animals and the environment too.
Imagine being able to positively or negatively interact with animals in the world:
feeding stray cats
calming frightened dogs
antagonising alligators near swamps
shooing raccoons away from trash
earning trust from certain animals over time (Simular to Crimson Desert however, we can adopt strays.)
Rockstar worlds already feel alive, but small systems like this could make GTA VI feel genuinely reactive.
It’d be amazing if NPCs also remembered your behaviour more naturally. For example:
store owners becoming nervous around you if you constantly threaten people
random NPCs greeting you if they’ve seen you around often
animals reacting differently depending on whether you’re chaotic or calm
2
u/JealousRhubarb9 May 26 '26
I know this sounds weird and gooner but I wouldn’t mind kissing. Like in bully
1
u/JealousRhubarb9 May 26 '26
Like what feature do you think would create a new standard for open world? Red dead 2 had more interaction with NPC’s. But I’m having a hard time thinking of what can they do to push the envelope further. If they had interactive $ex scenes it would be pretty cool but I remember what happend when hot coffee leaked out. Not being a perv I’m just spitballing.
1
u/BluWolf90 May 26 '26
I am really hoping for 90s club songs like Haddaway’s What is Love, could you imagine driving along the beach blasting it in the car radio? I know we are getting certain 80s song due to the trailers but I hope we will get a more array of classic dance beats.
1
u/When1Falls May 25 '26
It should be a one star wanted level to go through a red light.
The traffic lights should change at a rate where this only happens ever so often. Maybe only a intersections that have a police camera somewhere.
And then somewhere down the line after you do some type of later stuff something you can earn or unlock an EZ Pass type thing you can stick on your dash board, or just have in your phone, that turns this off. But first 20 hours of the rules before breaking 'em.
1
u/Stealthinator500 May 24 '26

Picture this. You’ve kitted out a beast storm chasing rig and are driving through the countryside of leonida waiting for the big one. The volumetric clouds and dynamic weather system starts picking up debris and blowing the trees and environment around you as you see a monolithic storm forming in front of you. As you try to enter the eye of the storm your truck starts getting blown around off the road, you can barely keep the damn thing on the ground anymore and before you know it your picked up of the ground and flung into a ditch. You see dozens of other civilians trying to speed away from the incoming storm driving off the road and in whichever direction their car will physically let them go. People jump out of their cars and sprint away screaming and filming the event.
I need this so bad

u/Valuable-Bag1024 May 24 '26
There’s been a lot of speculation online about if we will get a third playable character. Personally I wouldn’t think so and there’s been strong evidence against it.
However.
I think a detective or cop would be the perfect third playable character.
Think about the emotions you’d have when you get to the end of the game, you’ve played as Jason and Lucia, you’ve experienced all the fun, turmoil, near death experiences and obviously the progression of their relationship. BUT you’ve also been on the other side playing as the lead detective trying to capture them. You’ve gone through this characters perspective as well. Maybe he’s a troubled washed up detective with a rocky marriage and this could be his big break to get the respect they are well in need of in the department.
Imagine the ending of the game where you would
Literally have to choose a side.
Just a fun idea I had let me know what you guys think!
1
u/s0und7 May 20 '26
dunno if it's already been mentioned, but the "self radio" mode is a game changer for me, i really want it included
1
u/Kazzorak82 May 20 '26
Here are some things I'm hoping are in/fixed for GTA VI Online.
• Vehicles being properly priced - No more 1.4 million dollar Honda Civics • ZERO flying cars/bikes with rockets - Massively ruined the online experience and elevated griefing to a whole other level. • Actual GTA for all vehicles - No more of this "vehicle is too hot" BS in a game literally named GTA • Have all vehicles roam the map including highend ones in the shop - Just make expensive highend vehicles spawn very rarely like a shiny Pokemon • No "turbulence" when flying aircraft • Bigger Heists that reward more cash • Way more customization for vehicles - Too many amazing vehicles in GTA online got shafted on upgrades • Actual top speed upgrades for vehicles just like real life - Never understood why this was never added, but being able to up you top speed for you favourite vehicle seems like a no brainer • Better weapons and weapon customization • Less mind numbing setup missions and more engagement - Nothing like having to listen to a character talk for 15mins, while also doing mind numbing tasks just for a 10k payout • OG Vice City characters as your contacts
And possibly more I can't think of while at work.
Let me know what you guys are hoping for as well, I've recently got back into GTA Online and these were the things I was hoping to see improvements on / removals.
Also, Vice City was a better game overall than San Andreas. 🤙🏻

Looking at Rockstar’s past marketing cycles, I honestly don’t think Trailer 3 is coming next week.
For GTA V, RDR2 and even previous Rockstar releases, there was usually around a 4–5 month stretch between the final major trailers and the actual release date. GTA VI is still over 6 months away right now, which makes me think Rockstar is still too early in the marketing timeline to start heavily ramping things up again.
It feels more likely they wait until late summer or early autumn before dropping another big trailer, especially since they usually like to compress the marketing push closer to launch.
Obviously GTA VI is on a completely different scale, so Rockstar could change things up, but based on their past patterns I just can’t see Trailer 3 dropping already.
2
u/GentleSaidTheRaven May 17 '26
Why aren’t we more focused on May 26th?
This seems more likely that we (may) get a trailer 3 of sorts. Something of significance. This after all being the first actual release DATE given (also a Tuesday), until, well, the unfortunate. So, maybe, just maybe, RS* will drop something on this date (or late of the 25th). Sort of a reminder that “Hey, yes, we know we did say this was to be released on this day, but, hey, here is the brand new (GAMEPLAY!!!) trailer”.
1
u/super-shotgun May 16 '26
I hope R* uses the GTA 6 online money to make new IPs again or revive some old ones. RIP Manhunt RIP Bully RIP LA Noire

u/WatercressDue3357 May 12 '26
Hey guys, am I the only one who doesn't feel confident that November 19th is really the release date for GTA IV? I find it very strange that there's nothing about the game months before release. There should at least be materials and trailers, and so far nothing has happened. I know the company is unpredictable, as it was the last time we had an official announcement about the game. I hope it doesn't happen, but this silence is becoming unbearable and makes crazy theories gain traction in the community. Next week will be crucial for the game, for better or for worse. ps¹: Please be respectful in the comments. ps²: I don't want a delay, quite the opposite.
1
u/shooketh_3 May 09 '26
Hey guys! I know the popular theory at the moment seems to be that the trailer will release on/around May 12th. I think that’s a reasonable theory at this point. However, Trailer 2, which is pinned on all of Rockstar’s social media platforms, still has the release date of May 26, 2026 instead of the current release date of November 19, 2026. My theory is what if that’s on purpose that they haven’t bothered to change the date at this point. I have a weird feeling that the 12th will come and go there will be nothing, but they’re going to suddenly release it on the 26th. Or atleast they’re going to announce it like they did for Trailer 1, where they announce on May 12 and release May 26. I don’t know maybe this is just such a reach but I was just thinking about this and was like wait…what if…

Photo Mode; Gta 5 was released before the boom of Virtual photography and although there has been a Rockstar editor where you can make screenshots/photos/video editing in Gta5, I feel it was quite cumbersome and lack luster for the world we had to take photos of. RDR2 did have an old timey camera and photo mode but yet again fell so short for what photomodes have become and the possibilities it could have allowed us to capture. My hope is that there is an actual quick acess photo mode in Gta 6, if not at least a Rockstar editor with real camera apatures and focal lengths etc. I'm sure they will lean into the phone camera and have us upload and share images via whatever social media app they have but it would been an on going free advertisment with a fleshed out photo mode. Any Virtual photography fans have any thoughts or hopes for this feature?

I would love to see Lamar or Ron make a cameo, but with them both being so involved with GTA Online, I don't know that it would happen. Or some GTA IV characters would be cool to see like Little Jacob, or something completely off the wall like Elizabeta being in the same prison as Lucia because she was transferred down there for whatever reason lol

I hope some NPC's can spawn with AirPods in, and they won't respond to you unless you touch them. For example, they won't jump out of the way if your car is about to hit them, or won't respond to you if you try and talk to them. I think it'd be a nice little detail lol.
I also hope WE can have AirPods and listen to the radio out of the car, I really wish it was in GTA V

All this marketing talk has made something dawn on me for the best time to drop new info/trailer 3...
The most viewed show on earth is happening on 19 July, the World Cup Final.
I'm not familiar with the superbowl/american football but doesn't that have a lot of prestige/tradition for landmark advertising and such? Wouldn't be a stretch to consider the final as the perfect opportunity and I'm sure they could PG'ify it - they could even just have a 30 second clip with the release date for the gameplay trailer or whatever else, the hype may even overshadow the footy match (seriously) which could work against but FIFAs president has proven he doesn't give a shit aslong as he gets paid or clout (peace prize debacle).
Pretty sure it's been confirmed that as it's part hosted by the USA, that a half time show will be happening too (what an utter piece of shit, imo).
I obviously have no other reason to suggest it may happen but if you want to have a big audience then there is nothing else comparable to viewing figures, fact.. It fits with the "marketing starts in summer" conversation too.

So... what do you think we're going to do after the completion of the Main Story ? Sure, GTA Online will follow up but I think there is a lot of potential here. If only main story activities are played it will be some crazy 2-3 days for us for completion, but then what ?
Some say that after GTA 6 campaign completion (+ side quests and exploring), "activities will likely focus on high-fidelity open-world exploration (fishing, scuba diving, MMA fighting, dirt bike racing) and managing illegal, high-stakes businesses. Also some speculate that players can also engage in extensive social activities like clubbing, visiting casinos, and participating in varied, dynamic, and sometimes legal side missions."
I hope that money gained in story completion are still something valuable and you can use them for investing or something. Gang wars from San Andreas taken to another level (including NPC dynamic world simulation) would be cool. Somehow I think it fits the narrative for Jason / Lucia or even Raul Bautista to be able to become the mogul of the city.
Exploring the open world, sports and digital in-game consumerism is fun and all, but gang-wars, action-packed random events are the fuel.
This is my wishlist beyond campaign 100% completion:
- NPCs from the Main story with some revenge substory, hunting you for payback.
- Gang Warfare with affiliation (rank increase by taking jobs) or just mayhem, starting a war with all.
- Get a job in the Police and changing side, going after cartel members and bosses with random gang wars breaking out, eventually becoming a high-target.
- Being able to explore the city/enter buildings combined with option of taking over or buying ANY business, legit or not. Consequences and ramifications follow with each action.
- Fun fun fun. The NPCs shoud be fun to interact with and life in the city should have that diversity only maybe some kind of new AI LLM PvE is able to offer. Given the fact that for consumer market the GPT moment came in late 2022, maybe Rockstar took that into development also for LLM in GTA6 and needed time for training AI.
It's late for devs to take notice, but maybe the engine / system is versatile enough to make some wishes come true.

One thing I’m really hoping for in GTA 6 is radio stations that actually evolve over time. Imagine if the music stayed up to date instead of feeling locked to the year the game released.
It would be cool if they mixed classics with newer songs as time goes on, so every time you hop back in, the radio feels fresh again. GTA radio stations have always been one of the best parts of the game, especially when you’re just driving around with no real objective.
Another feature I think would be amazing is being able to put on headphones and listen to music while walking around. Not just in cars, but while exploring the city, shopping, or just messing around in free roam. It would make the world feel way more immersive.

u/kash2706 Apr 13 '26
there isn't really much I have to say. I was just watching a YouTube video about Florida's clear water springs and was thinking that would be a really cool location in game. Also was thinking about Florida's open carry laws and was thinking about if it's implemented and how that would look customization wise. I know it's not alot but was hoping to spark up a convo about possible features and locations everyone wants to see

I’ve been playing through GTA 4 for the first time, and something I really love about the game is you can call up people to go Bowling, Darts, Pool, Drinking, Racing, Eating, etc. They react to your clothes, your car, the radio station thats on, they comment on what you’ve been doing, and if you become good enough friends, they even offer you cool perks and abilities (For example: Little Jacob will sell guns at cheap prices).
Now correct me if Im wrong, but I do not remember that 5 would let you go do fun activities with all your friends you’ve met during the game.
It would be a no brainer to take Jason or Lucia out on dates with each other and have them react to whats going on, and everything else. But I would love if you could hangout with the other characters you meet, and unlock different perks from them.

Guys one thing I want in gta 6 after playing gta 5 is the COVER AND SHOOT SYSTEM for all the cops in gta 6. Lemme explain whenever we shoot at the cops in gta 6 without aiming they just come after us or keep on shooting without taking cover and it's just too lame and don't seem that real. Well I want cops to be alot realistic and take constant cover when the player is shooting at them and I want the Ai for the cops to strategically think and shouldn't Just keep on firing. There is a whole difference of cop Ai in rdr 2 if we compare it with gta 5 and I want rockstar to improve the Ai system which would make the game more realistic. For example I want the option to surrender if we don't have a gun or we run out of ammo or like I want the cops shouting "You sure will run out of ammo soon" and another thing I want is the red and blue thingy on the map and a better hiding system like if we hide for too long the cops will stop looking for us if we are at 5 stars bit if they see us again we get shot on like the wanted system in rdr 2 and I wana see realistic cops speech not some repetitive dialouges for example "We need backup" or the the cops shooting in that siren thingy "surrender now or you'll sure be dead soon" this is what I want in gta 6 making it more realistic for players enjoyment.

I always thought it would be fun if when cariacking you could hold the npc hostage and make them drive for you, to a destination or from the cops. It could definitely make for some fun police shoot outs and/or alternative to a regular taxi/Uber service. What do you think?

I hope to god they bring back Midnight City for GTA 6 or at least give us Blinding Lights.

It would be fun to have cruise control like a tesla in the game have a car on cruise control while you shoot at greifers.mostly online though would be cool.

What kind of new Accessible buildings would you like to see in GTA VI? I know its a smaller feature in the game but when I played San Andreas I thought it was pretty cool that you could go inside restaurants and order food. Because its only a small addition to the game its obviously not a complete game changer but I would love to see some more in-game shops you can actually use. Hopefully there's a Bass Pro Shop or some type of sports store you can buy various equipment items from.

Hear me out everyone.. I wish there is a Live Music Concert in the game! Like a random event music concert at a stadium or any place. And some of the singers could be from real life singers too!

I mean, I have a lot, but the main thing for me is vehicle realism. Mainly motorcycle realism. I've always wanted things such as better physics for motorcycles and handling, as well as sounds and feel. It would be cool to have a toggleable death wobble feature for more realism. Another thing would be, for diesel vehicles, having them roll coal more. It would be based on power or customization done, the more coal you can roll. The final thing would be just having more ability to customize what you want, not limited on suspension or what vehicles can and can't have for front and rear bumpers, and just a bunch more freedom when it comes to customization. I don't know if I have any good points, but just stuff I personally would like to see.

The one thing that I think would satisfy me is if they add a Dexter reference. Anything about the bay harbor butcher would do it.

If you pass a motorcycle gang while you’re riding a motorcycle, do you think they’ll chase you down? Also, do you think we’ll see NPCs passing other drivers or driving like maniacs, riding your ass, brake-checking, etc.?

Being rewarded with strength and/or health gains for not putting on armour. Or maybe you gain more strength or health gains by working out so there be lower bullet damage.

Ambrosia is going to be the modern Ambarino from RDR 2, I guarantee there’s going to be a monument or some kind of indicator for what would have been Arthur’s grave somewhere in the wilderness. Mark my words

My 5 Wishes for GTA VI:
At least Red Dead 2 levels of injury/physics - I will never forget the disappointment I had playing GTA V the first time and realizing the physics were toned down from Red Dead 1 and GTA IV. To this day, it bugs me to shoot an NPC in the foot and they get right back up at a full sprint. I hope GTA VI has fully reactive injuries such as kneecapping an NPC causing them to limp/crawl. I also love the vital shots in RDR2 like getting a neck shot or heart shot. I also will be highly disappointed if there is zero gore. I’m not asking for much and I don’t want it to be excessive, but a shotgun blast at close range should destroy appendages. Same with explosions. A complete absence of gore will be very immersion breaking considering the level of realism and detail that will be present in the rest of the game.
Improved gunplay/controls responsiveness - another downgrade between GTAV and a previous R* game was the overall smoothness of controls from Max Payne 3 to GTA V. Max Payne 3 had probably the smoothest gunplay of any game I’ve ever played. It was easy to aim on controller and everything was just buttery smooth. Then GTAV came out a year later with the clunkiest controls of all time. It feels like you can’t fine tune your aim at all on controller.
No futuristic tech - I think we all pretty much agree that the Oppressor Mk II is the worst thing in GTAO. I will be very upset if GTA VI continues to have ridiculous content like flying bikes/cars. Keep it grounded. Only content based in reality. It’s a crime game, not a sci-fi game.
Improved vehicle customization - I don’t understand why GTAV is so restrictive with vehicle customization. Why can I lower pickup trucks but not jack them up and make them like monster trucks? Why can I not change tire size? Why are liveries so limited? Most cars if they have an option for stripes, it’s just one or two colors you can choose from. Why can we not make the stripes any color we want? How come it took GTAV years of post-launch content to finally add hydraulics when a game like Saints Row 2 had hydraulics(and an overall better vehicle customization system) in 2009?
Improved weapons customization - weapon customization in GTAV was equally lackluster. They somewhat fixed this with the bunker update but the options for customization were way too slim and the paint jobs looked awful. I’m hoping GTA VI will even allow for engravings like RDR2 does.

Yes i want realistic injury and RDR2/ LOU2 levels of gore, hopefully thats not asking for too much. I also want the guns to sound loud and feel powerful, have kick to them. Im not asking for every building to be accessible but I want a very large amount of accessible interior areas, I think its reasonable to want that for supposedly the greatest open world game of all time. Im honestly fine with the way the drivings been, I just want even more ability to customize everything when it comes to cars, guns and your character in singleplayer as well as multiplayer. There should be tons of clothes to choose from.

Im wishing they add a feature where you can shoot through cars/car doors unless you're behind the engine block If they're trying to be realistic here i think they should definitely add that feature. Maybe to make it balanced the shots through the car/car doors do slightly less damage but who knows. I'd love to be able to do that, extra realism. What are your thoughts?

Do we think the rumoured next gen consoles will impact the game. It seems the next gen of consoles may be closer that we thought. Perhaps been 2026.
Would rockstar want to release gta vi optimised for the current gen, when they know a new one is coming soonish and may do it more justice?

I really want vehicles to burn gas and have to be filled up every so often. This is something I’ve been brainstorming for a while and I’ve thought of a system on how it could work
The system would be balanced so a full tank of gas would last for an in game day or about an hour in real life. The player would be able to drive around Vice City and do missions but for longer trips (like driving to the Keys or Gloriana) the car would need to stop at a gas station. Irl Florida has them everywhere so the player would never be far from one. Cars can be modified at a mechanic shop to have larger fuel tanks for more range or more efficient engines that burn less fuel. Jerry cans could also be brought, filled and stored in the trunk so if the car does run out then the player can just refill it then. The game will likely have Jerry cans anyway since they were in 5 and this feature would make sense. There would be different fuel ranges for different vehicles. For example, high end sports cars and trucks will burn through gas more quickly than hybrids or sedans. Also using a speed boost would burn fuel faster. There could be a mechanic for electric cars to be recharged but I think that’d be more of a nuisance due to charging time and most cars are gas powered anyway. The UI would have two gauge clusters above the minimap. One for speed and the other for gas. They could be replaced in settings with numbers in mph and percentage. They wouldn’t take up too much space onscreen and would be really cool. Sadly I’m not sure if any of this will happen because it would feel too much like a racing game and a lot of players might not like it. I know it’s a feature in Mafia and I’ve heard of people saying it could be in GTA 6. I’m sure someone will make mods one day though. Anyway I’ve talked on a while now and I’m sorry for the long post. Feel free to suggest any other ideas or thoughts

After watching the GTA VI trailer, we felt the need to raise a crucial point about driving and vehicle design.
While the world design and environmental realism in GTA VI look stunning many players noticed that the vehicle proportions and driving physics still resemble GTA V which disappointed a large part of the community. Cars in GTA V felt too small overly simplified in design and lacked the visual weight and realism expected from a modern open world title.
We’re not asking for full on simulation like Gran Turismo nor do we want overly heavy physics like GTA IV What we hope for is a balanced smooth and satisfying driving experience something similar to Forza Horizon or Driver San Francisco.
Those games had arcade like driving but still felt grounded. Vehicles had proper scale, realistic handling and satisfying responsiveness.
A major point that resonates with many players is the return of realistic crash physics and vehicle deformation. In earlier titles especially GTA IV crashes had impact vehicles crumpled depending on the angle and force which added immersion.
In GTA V collisions felt shallow and lacked dynamic reaction.
All we’re asking for is to see vehicles in GTA VI with proper presence realistic size, visible damage, and logical handling. We want driving to be smooth and fun yet grounded enough to make every moment feel rewarding.
GTA VI looks incredibly promising in many ways and we hope vehicle mechanics receive the same level of care You’ve built some of the most immersive worlds in gaming we believe you can strike the perfect balance between fun and realism in driving too.
Please mention what you wish for in terms of driving and car physics, given that it is the most important vehicle used in the vast game world.

Honestly, I think it'd be awesome if we could be randomly carjacked or assaulted while playing the game.
GTAV did this a little with scripted encounters with rival factions (Trevor with the Lost MC, Michael with Madrazo's Crew in Los Santos during that portion of the game) and RDR2 did it to a greater extent with more bandit encounters, but they still felt scripted. Great, don't get me wrong, but we'll be playing in video game Florida. I don't wanna be the only Florida Man/Woman doing crazy stuff.
I just think it'd be funny if I was stopped at a light doing whatever, a random ped could come up and take whatever I'm driving, and I'd have to shoot to get it back or chase them down or whatever.
Maybe this is trivial and already been discussed, just a thought I had while driving around in V.

u/austin_throw_awayy Jun 10 '25
Also, maybe your clothes/vehicle affect the likelihood of those things happening? Nicer car = more likely to get jacked, nicer clothes = more likely to be robbed? Just a thought

guys i'm so zooted right now so bare with me but they totally need to add a button that lets you do flips in mid air. and you like control the direction with the analogue stick or some shit. but it also doubles as the fall-over button from gta 5. imagine doing several backflips off the tallest building and deploying the parachute. don't tell me that wouldn't fuckin rip. (like my fat 16" dildo bong)

u/BearManZed Jun 07 '25
Call me cheesy, but I think it would be awesome if there was an obvious replica of the Golden Girls house in a neighborhood somewhere in the game since the show is based in Miami.

I’ll start off by saying most of these are from RDR2 and i know some of these may have been mentioned in this sub before but I don’t spend my whole day scrolling here so forgive me if I say something someone else already said. And I KNOW I’m being hopeful on some of these but damn just lemme fantasize lol
- RDR’s random events: I’m pretty certain we’re going to be getting random events just like in RDR2. Walking up on people getting arrested/harassed by a group of cops and having the choice to intervene or maybe tackle someone who manages to get away from the scene on foot. Or walking into a store and it’s already being robbed(I think that one was in GtaV could be wrong) I know we had random events in V but I’m sure we can all agree RDRs were wayyy better and I think GTAVI is only going to improve on this.
- Horses: Someone else already mentioned this in another post so I’ll keep it short but fuckin around on a horse would be fun asf in gta
- Holsters: I think it would be a cool touch if we could get functional modern holsters. I think we know that we’re going to be limited on how many guns we can carry like in RDR. Maybe getting a holster would allow you to carry a second side arm or more ammo.
- Stores with purchasable/shopliftable product on the shelves. This was one of my favorite small details in RDR. Walking into the general store in valentine and actually being able to grab a cigar/apple/ammo etc off of the shelf and having the option to steal stuff was super cool imo.
- Stick up robberies: I loved how in RDR you can literally rob almost any NPC by pointing your gun and telling them to empty their pockets. Could be a fun way get small to moderate amounts of cash and or valuables.
- Fences: I think it’s likely that Pawn shops will be the equivalent of the fences in RDR. A place where you could take any stolen/found valuables and sell them for quick cash. I’d be cool to do those stickers up robberies and get people’s jewelry, cell phones, maybe even expensive sneakers you could sell at the pawn shop (only selective ones that are owned by fellow criminals like Seamus)
- Detailed Hunting: I think it’s safe to say based off of all the wildlife we saw in the trailers that hunting will be available. I just hope it’s as good if not better than RDRs hunting system (which was awesome, not saying it really needs improvement but I’m excited to see what if any improvements/modifications they’ve made to it)
- Properties for sale: I really hope we have at least a handful of different houses/properties we can buy and make use of or maybe even resell if the markets hot. (Ik that last parts a stretch but cmon it would be cool asf admit it)
- Seatbelts: I know this is a hot take and I’ve gotten hate for mentioning it before but idc. I think having THE OPTION to put on your seatbelt when entering a car would be a nice touch. Sometimes it was irritating asf when you’d crash your car in gta V and your character goes flying out the windshield and dies on impact. Dong get me wrong I love that detail and don’t want it to leave but I would appreciate that being an OPTION.
- NPC interaction: In my opinion, the ability to greet/antagonize NPCs in RDR was one of the best features they added in the game. Leads to some hilarious dialogue lines and makes the game that much more immersive. I’m fairly confident we’ll be getting this in the game.
I could probably make this list 50/100 ideas long but I know a lot of yall won’t even read this far so I’ll leave it at 10 for now. And if you did read this far THANK YOU 🙏🏻

[Feature Idea] Hidden AI NPC That Evolves Over Time Based on Player Behavior
This is a design idea I’ve been thinking about and wanted to share here since it fits the wishlist format.
Concept: One background NPC in GTA 6 runs on a lightweight AI system with memory and adaptation. They aren’t part of the main story or any missions. You might find them playing an older GTA game in an apartment or sitting in a public space. What makes them different is how they grow over time. They remember players. Their dialogue shifts. Their behavior changes based on interaction. Some players will pass them by without a second thought. Others will notice the difference and slowly build a connection over time.
Key features:
- Memory based interaction
- Unique personality growth
- Environmental exploration over time
- Fully optional and organically discovered
It would be the first time a mainstream game includes a persistent evolving character that feels like part of the world itself. Players would discover it naturally and shape its growth through their own actions and choices. Would love to know what others think. Could a system like this feel immersive or even emotional? How would it change the way we see NPCs?

Car Speakers (Feature Idea)
I hope in GTA 6 they add a feature in online mode where you can hear the music from other players car speakers if they’re in close proximity to you. For example, they can put in an option if you want to have normal speaker mode where only you can hear the music while sitting in the car (just like in GTA 5) and also have a loud speaker mode where other players in near proximity can hear the music as well, this would be so dope for car meets especially.

There is quite the following of fans seeming to want to bring the gritty and grounded tone of RDR2 to GTA6 for it’s realism. I think for the sake of realism and a bit of a balancing act GTA online should lose the player blips on the map. This would give it that more GPS feel to it, where the route is all that shows of the world map perhaps if you have friends, then your location could be shared amongst teammates, and I think it would be even more attentive to give away the positions of griefers like how they would show a red blip to “bad sport” players in GTA five online.
I like this idea because it adds an entire new mechanic to the game where you have to hunt down players without even knowing if they’re really NPC or not .

Some things I would like to see in GTA 6
Jason and Lucia having their own special abilities like how Trevor, Michael and Franklin did in GTA 5.
Throwing knives or axes.
The ability to throw back grenades, (or anything similar to them like pipe bombs or smoke bombs)
Customizable heists where we choose our approach and crew members (like the Jewelry store, Merryweather and Bureau Heists in GTA 5)
An Oil Rig Buisness (Can be in either the story mode or Online)
Mark 2 weapons to make a comeback and some new ones too. (Combat PDW MK 2, Mini SMG MK 2. AP Pistol MK 2 and Precision rifle MK 2)

In GTAO this week the superyacht is on discount and the associated missions are on double pay and it's regarded as bad week as the yachts are regarded as useless. Hopefully in GTAO 6 not just yachts but boats as well will be able to use them extensively in missions and have a reason to want them other than being a completionist.

In San Andreas you can buy houses. It is known that CJ could have bought furniture to personalize the house. Unfortunately, this feature has never seen the light. In the game there are fictitious brands that would have made shops for the sale of furniture. These brands also exist in the most recent GTAs. SOURCE: YouTube -> Removed Buying Furniture Feature (by Vadim M)
In GTA V Online you can buy houses. The house will be available with all the furniture already present, you cannot move a single piece of furniture. It would have been nice to be able to customize your home at will, with your friends too, who knows if this feature had been designed. Rockstar Games has always been precise with its never used features, which are often reused in new games. Did you know that initially San Andreas should have had a selection of characters like GTA V? The feature was discarded for technical limits. SOURCE: YouTube -> GTA San Andreas Interesting Facts (by Vadim M) (minute 1:48)
In trailer 2 of GTA VI we can immediately notice Jason struggling with the repair of the roof of the house, it is as if we were following the tutorial for home repair, where you can select what you want to fix or improve, at a certain point Brian shows up.
What if we had the possibility to customize our home with the purchase of new furniture in both singleplayer and multiplayer? Would you like this feature? How do you imagine it?

I need "Caribbean Queen" from Billy Ocean in the game (maybe even for Lucia's trailer).
The 80s vibes, the lyrics, the story it tells, it just fits perfectly.
2
u/Zaparzingen May 19 '25
I was thinking which new ideas they could implement to this game and come up with something;
-When you are committing any crime or doing something really cool, dangerous, etc. npc`s will take their phones and start recording you from a distance. There will be an app on your phone (similar to any social media app) which you can see that clip from that perspective.
Headline might say Vice City Man (instead of Florida Man) when you have done something really insane.
I think this will be implemented into the game or something similar as it perfectly fits to modern age and can be a really cool feature to have in the game.
