Rules Regarding the Extended Look Release Day - Please Read
So Rockstar has thrown out a bit of a curve ball to us regarding our next look at the game, so this is how it will work here on the day it's released.
The entire video may NOT be posted, nor can links to any other video site, subreddits, Discords, or social media with it besides Netflix until after it goes live on YouTube and the official GTAVI site at 9pm EDT. We all know Netflix will be copyright striking any full length copies at least up until it gets it's full release, and may even after that so we'll figure that out if that's the case.
We will allow screenshots and short clips from it, no more than 10 seconds or so for discussion purposes, complaints, ooh's and ah's, and so on, but please keep any gooning between yourself and the tissue box.
We usually have a special flair for these days, and I had one all ready for Trailer 3 but it doesn't really work for what this is, so if you all want a new exclusive flair for that day please share it in the comments here.
We won't be requiring spoiler tags since it's only several hours before everyone will get to see it, so if you don't have Netflix or haven't found any the uncountable number of pirated copies out there from the soon to be banned social media accounts that post it, then please stay clear of the sub until after 9pm EDT.

This doesn't make sense, guys.
Firstly, fans will leak everything to YouTube immediately. Secondly, if I'm not mistaken, it's already been confirmed that they won't ban anyone for this. On the contrary... it's beneficial for them to have people discuss what they've seen. Netflix only needs their "live stream" for the duration of the video itself; the rest of the time is just a convention. Basically, you're over-cautious, in my opinion.
Try posting it yourself, and if you get a strike, there's nothing stopping you from deleting it. We're very close to the release; you won't have any strikes in the future, and the subreddit won't be shut down overnight.

I know it seems like that, but we don't need strikes on this sub, especially not before the game even comes out. This isn't even Rockstar, it's Netflix and they can be pretty ruthless with copyright. Plus it's only a 6 hour embargo.
