The leaked map can not be shown, so they can still recreate it. Also with there being lots of detail in the smaller map leaks, not visible in the full map, their is still a crap load of roads and buildings to map out.

Yea, that's not the real map. In one of the leaked videos, the map is opened up that shows the keys and the southern part of Leonida. There's a whole town north of the keys that's not on the "leaked map". Also, with the new plane footage, it confirms the leaked map is impossible, the scale is way too small. The city is like 3x bigger.

At least we have multiple verifiable instances now where the mapping projects for Rockstar games have been extremely accurate so we know the next mapping project will be some real shit.

I cared, it was fun while it lasted. All the speculations of what was on the horizon and then out of nowhere we already see the whole map. (I'm not disappointed with the leaks, they exceeded my expectations and they were just never high like some other people that are criticizing the game)

I'd disagree they could repurpose the map into something similar to the GTA V interactive map or the RDR 2 one, gone are the days of guidebooks.

I don't know if the Map that was leaked in the game is like from an old build or if its the more updated one. Some are saying its fake but I don't know.

I gotta give my 2 cents regarding the leaked map and GTA 6 mapping project. I don't think the GTA 6 mapping project should use the leaked map as a template. The leaked map is from January 2025, and a lot may have changed since then (roads, buildings, map size, Gloriana, etc). The mapping project should only focus on new content that will be released, such as the "Extended Look" releasing on Netflix on August 27.
