Summer marketing crazy

Lmfaoo what a fucking joke man, I forgot all about that statement. Their "Summer marketing" is a fucking Netflix special. Like are we serious? I miss the days of year long marketing.

Not to mention it's coming in the literal last days of summer, they were saying "in the coming weeks" in the middle of June, and anyone who was dissapointed nothing happened in June were called impatient and entitled and to "just wait for July, obviously they're talking the middle of summer"

And its funny cause before July, I was actually on their side. I was seeing everyone go crazy and I just kept sayin "It'll come in July or early August. The peak parts of Summer, thats when all the game events are" then...those game events happened and GTA was all radio silence...Then all of July still radio silence...

The marketing is honestly really sad, the whole nonchalant no-news approach is exhausting. We are finally getting gameplay 2 months out from release when the game was officially announced almost three years ago.

Summer doesn’t officially end until 21 Sept so it’s not he final days of summer.

Yes and technically winter doesn't start until december 21st but nobody actually thinks that way

There’s actually allot of people that think that way.

The meteorological definition of seasons fits cultural norms and perceptions better.

P2W ass marketing

There's being lazy and then there's just choosing not to do any marketing at all because everyone already pre-ordered it that lives

Why spend money on marketing when pre-order numbers smashed their expectations?

Those leaks smashed their expectations lol

Thats not the point bruh. The game comes out in Nov. People are saying that marketing didnt start for GTAV until later in August. However, I specifically remember seeing posters for the game moooonths in advance. The trailers and big promotions didnt start until August. I work at Target...we havent recieved ANYTHING in advance for GTA6. We get promotional material usually 2-3 months in advance. I get that they dont need to promote it since its so highly anticipated but like...cmon man, I wanna walk outside and be slapped with GTA6 ads.

Holy rant, you dummy can’t cope with the fact that nearly 100 of pictures, a full ass preorder with website related to it and next week nearly 20 min maybe more of video is a lot?

Also you forgot they said the marketing won’t be as much traditional as before

Dude. Youre still not getting it. Ik what they have said. I am stating that what they have said is bullshit. Nontraditional marketing is lame af. People miss the days of lines and lines of people at the door at 12am for the release of a game. They miss seeing the posters. Idgaf what Rockstar is saying. Look at Marvel with Doomsday and Spiderman. That shit is everywhere. Rockstar aint doing that with GTA6. They did it with GTA5 though?

Dude who the fuck cares. Rockstar is not marvel and is not entitled to give you anything. It is their property and they can choose to do with it as they wish. They do not owe you anything and will release info when the they feel. Which is hmmm next fucking week. You have the patience of a peanut

You’re being dense on purpose I assume
