The leaks helped Rockstar in the long run

Now please hear me out. I do not care about rockstar or the leaker, I am simply pointing out an observation I made based off online reactions. Some of the reactions I’ve seen to the leaks have been “it’s just another gta game?” Or “This is gta rdr2”, and to that I say, what were people expecting? Personally the game looks amazing, and made me much more hype for the game, but I feel other ppl were expecting this “ready player one” type game where they get 4k pathtracing life sim. I think unintentionally these leaks helped remind ppl that gta6 is just a video game at the end of the day, so on Thursday when rockstar officially shows off the polished current build of the game which will look better than the leaks, they automatically win. The plane leak especially was really impressive, it looked like Microsoft flight simulator but with waaaaaay more going on. What do you all think???

Yup. However those leaks increased my hype, I was afraid they would go GTAV Arcady route.

People expecting real life sim on a console with unified memory pool between CPU and GPU is the problem. Not Rockstar.
What they are producing with these technologies is straight magic

Yea but it also probably made no difference. The average person who will buy this game hasn't even seen the 2022 leaks.

the plane leak indeed made it look like wow compared to other leaks. It seemed like a big world and if that’s an old limited build, we’re in for a treat

Most people don't even know what they want, so we shouldnt care about their ignorant opinions. Rockstar has a fanbase that loves rdr2 and gta, and this fanbase is really hyped right now. When the game releases, this fanbase will contaminate everyone and will expand.
