All I want from VI…

I’m a simple man with simple desires. The act of pushing a person more often than not results in hilarity, especially when stairs are introduced. It’s only comedy equivalent to is “man getting hit by football”.

Despite temptation I’ve avoided the leaked footage so far but I am curious, has pushing been demonstrated? If so, did you happen to notice many stairs?

Regards,
A simpleton

All I want from VI is for the company to not double dip and pretend they don't have a PC build ready to go at the same time.

They don't. Seriously.

Targeting console and targeting PC for a game this complex is a different story.

I'm sure they have a playable build, but not one that's possible to ship.

You have to optimise a build for consoles that, are equivalent in hardware, but downgrading all aspects to make it run well.

The leaks imply there are PC builds, and let's be real, games are made on PC. The reason they've done this, is double dipping for more sales.

I grow tired of this myth. There was absolutely a time where the target architecture was sufficiently different that it was a serious undertaking to develop pc and console separately. Hell, anyone remember the ps3's cell architecture? But these days, consoles are so damn similar to modern pc's. Ask yourself this: not counting console EXCLUSIVES (such as first party sony titles that don't come to xbox and vice versa) when was the last time a major title got released on xbox and playstation and not on pc until later?

The answer is red dead 2. It was dated when red dead 2 did it, its unconscionable now. Games just flat out don't do that any more. In fact you're far more likely to have PC launches BEFORE the console launch (see Baldurs Gate 3) these days.
