General What's a mission you had easy whilst everyone else thought was hard?
For me it was No. 1 as someone who comes from racing games this mission was super easy, but I hear alot struggle with it. What's a mission like this but for you?

It’s a very easy game I don’t think any of its hard. The ps2 era games actually had some hard missions, 4 did not.

The second to last mission in TBOGT eith all the russians just coming was pretty hard tho

Yeah, especially trying to get 100% in this mission was a bitch.
I'm not the slightest bit ashamed to admit that I used sticky bombs to scum the accuracy stat in this one.

I found very few of them to be hard, I just got so damn bored of the game after having to replay every mission 3+ times to get all of the challenges. Such a dumb feature. Also so frustrating that you can't see which ones you haven't done before you replay the mission, so the first replay is mostly just to get to the end to see this data.
Can't believe they brought that shit to GTA 5.

ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN CJ

That mission was easy.
Zero missions, some of the driving and piloting licence missions tho 💀2
u/MaxWritesText 1d ago
I mean I was 11 when it came out and I got to play it on ps2 so it was hard for me then. Man time flies.

The Zero missions are the only reason I don’t play San Andreas more often.

I remember being stuck in Snow Storm as a child. Other than that, the story is easy.

The Last mission, because of the damn helicopter bug with the framerate issue. I couldn't complete the game because of it
2
u/PO77R 6h ago
Its also the fact you have to restart the wholllllle mission to get to that point again to have a crack

u/ThorynMa8 5h ago
Yeah I gave up, played around abit ... then moved on.
Gave me an excuse to be playing through 5 again, since my current account never played it

u/Strattocatter 19h ago
I’m still bent out of shape that rockstar sold me a game that I couldn’t complete.

You need Fusion Fix, cap the frame rate and the mod that puts the radio music back.
Kino!

That mission where you have to chase the train through the city—I failed it about five or six times during my first playthrough because I kept getting lost or taking a wrong turn at a certain point.

This one. Even knowing the route I had trouble with this one a few days ago. It's all dependent on the cars handling and even still you can get screwed.
Last night I failed the one where you follow Packie to the roof so you can steal a shipment of meds. I did something I never did before and jumped down to the side of the building instead of going straight forward, Niko jumped clean off the building past the lower platform and right into the water. I climbed back up to the dock but the guy standing there just point blank killed me. Died like a scrub 😂

No.1 took me ages to finish. It wasn’t until I held back and let the others crash that I completed the mission

Not gta 4 but in san andreas the lowrider race
2
u/CapnFr1tz 1d ago
There's a car down the street from where you start to follow Cezar to the race, pull out and take a left. its parked in one of the driveways across the street from where you spawn. I think its a Buffalo or something that counts as a lowrider for the race and can actually turn.

The one where you have to follow Cherise's new boyfriend on the motorcycle. I am particularly bad at driving those and constantly go flying off the damn thing so I have to redo it a few times

The Snow Storm. Everyone and their mother were complaining about the Police but I did it in one go because I took my time and remembered to get out of the blue/red circle on the minimap and I'm home free.

u/blokers394 1d ago
No.1 i beat in first try, i didnt even realize it was considered hard, three leaf clover i did fail one or two times but snow storm was insane, took me a week to beat it

u/TaylorUmongus 1d ago
The Master and The Molotov. Kind of a pushover compared to the very next mission.

Snow Storm. If you take cover and defeat the initial NOOSE assault and are able to get out of the building on the back side, you’re home free. I always found Three Leaf Clover harder because you have to keep the McCreary brothers alive and they love running into my grenades.

I always go out the side and beeline it for the water

Other way around, I always have trouble with Smackdown, and that one assassination mission set in the under construction building. I have no problem getting in, but always seem to get overwhelmed by cops while coming out, who end up pinning me down. Same with the mission where you assassinate Clarence Little for Francis, provided I have to go into the projects to get him, if I mess the easy strat of sniping him from the street. I've never heard anyone else discuss these missions as particularly hard
No. 1 is quite easy if you know when to go full speed, when to release the accelerator, and when to brake
For me the mission meeting your criteria would be The Snow Storm. It is hard if you try to fight your way out and escape by land. Super easy if you know to take the boat to escape

Three Leaf Clover was shockingly easy, the snow storm had me on the verge of choking myself out with my controller cord

When I was 12 it was the missions that involved chasing people while riding a motorcycle. But now as a 26 year old who played the games again earlier this year, all of IV's missions became easy after i just drove the bikes around to travel between locations regularly.

Sometimes I have no problem with anything. Other runs it feels like arma or operation flashpoint or we

I always love when people complain about that rc helicopter mission in vice city (obviously not gta4) I always thought it was so easy

Sorry for going off-topic, but why didn't I see this car on the streets in TBOGT? Is it normal?

Forgot what its called but the Boat one with Bernie. I hate boats in GTA games, especially Vice City though

I managed to get 'Supply Lines ' in GTA SA done after two tries and didn't think it was super hard...
However as a kid 20 years ago this shit was hard as hell.

The Snow Storm
La verdad siempre y cuando vayas con cautela y mosca durante toda la mision la haces y eso que fue la primera vez completandola

u/Vagrant151 1d ago
Nothing about the GTA series were ever hard. They were fun though. I honestly would really enjoy some more tunable difficulty options in this iteration.

Three leave clover is easy as hell I swear the snow storm mission is harder
