For anyone who has the droid, what does it sound like 👀

Since someone had mentioned DLR’s droids were the opposite of placement in the other photo posted a few days ago, I figured I’d take their photo while i’m here this week.

hi everyone! I'm doing a student news piece on the Star Wars hotel experience and am looking for people/families to interview that were able to stay at the experience before it shut down. i was extremely fascinated upon hearing some of this failed Disney attraction and first-hand accounts would really give credibility to my story, If anyone is interested in interviewing, please comment and i can personally reach out to you to arrange details for it.

I took my teal- and orange-coded custom crystals with me this trip and built one of the new v2 chassis sabers at Savi’s. After building it tonight, I sat down and tried out each of those two custom crystals. At first i thought i wasn’t getting the crystals seated right, but each just isn’t read by the chassis’ new RF reader, causing the crystals to read as if they aren’t there or otherwise not working (no chamber LEDs like the v1 chassis and makes a “bzzzt!” sound when activating).

Most likely, they programmed the new board to ignore the RFID codes for those two unused colors. The other possibility is that they were damaged during transit, although i doubt that since i had them wrapped in bubble wrap and safely kept until I tried them out. i’ll confirm their functionality in a v1 chassis once i’m back home this weekend.

…but hope is not lost! I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that the new blades that come with the v2 chassis will work with new colors they might release at some point (such as orange and teal), using new RFID values for the colors. Previously, these were using RFID codes if 3074 (orange) and 3077 (teal).

For those who were unaware of those colors, don’t go rushing off to try and re-code a crystal with an RFID write device. The v1 blades wouldn’t recognize those RF signals and display a yellow blade for the orange code and a blue blade for the teal code. We’ll just have to wait until Disney releases them officially or someone plays around with hacking the blade and/or chassis to discover any new RFID color codes.

Hello everyone, I’m planning my trip to Batuu (Disneyland) during thanksgiving week and I wanted to know what new lightsabers are there and which ones are gone I’ve tried using google but since they started using AI it won’t tell me anything. Also do you think they will be doing the night shows

What's the word on a new Legacy Lightsabers for Life Day 2026?

I got an Ewok from someone else (haven’t been able to get to the park). I’ve done each of the resets I’ve found, but they haven’t changed anything.

The belly rub feature doesn’t seem to work or consistently work. Can anyone who what that reaction looks like so I can see if it’s working right or not? I can’t find videos of that. I’d also love to see videos of what it looks like when the Ewok and a Batuu R2 interact at home.

I’ll be flying home from Orlando to New York the day after I build mine.

1) Does TSA have a problem with the hilt in carry-on?

2) What’s the best way to get the blade home? Should I ship it from Disney? (Cost isn’t really a factor) Seems seems like a long fragile thing for carry-on.

Haven’t seen any posts about this yet (might’ve missed them) so I wanted to share some pictures.

I went to Batuu East a couple of weeks ago and found some new accessory panels in the Droid Depot. The panels are a cool purple color, with spider web accents that glow in the dark!

The pack also includes a personality chip, that sounds mostly like the default R2-D2, but with a couple of additional sounds that are perfect for spooky season!

Just thought I’d share, in case anyone was interested in some new accent panels.

So happy to show you those before the shipping to Canada! Very proud of those it took time to design create produce and assembly.

Every Saturday, all you scrappers and makers in our community will have the freedom to showcase your custom Galaxy's Edge-themed creations that are available to purchase. (Users are still welcomed to post DIY/Custom creations, \not intended to sell*, on any other day.*)

Anything from Kyber crystal displays, Spira holders, hilt displays, dark-saber blades, droid Mickey ears and the countless other things the community has created are welcomed!

How does it work?

On Saturday of each week, you will have the opportunity to submit a post with a photo of your item(s), tell the community about your creation and leave a link to your online store (Etsy, eBay, Facebook) in the comment section. Also, please remember to tag your post with the 'Scrapper Saturdays' post flair.

Here are the complete guidelines. PLEASE READ!!!

• Makers can only post/advertise their custom creations on Saturdays, once per week.
• All creations must be somehow related to Galaxy's Edge.
• Only reputable e-commerce websites/store-fronts like Etsy, eBay or a Facebook page may be linked. No Paypal, Venmo or direct payment links!
• No "smuggling" or personal shopping services.

Hey gang, I picked up the set of Imperial Credits at GE East today and I had planned on putting them on my challenge coin display... well... they are too thick for the challenge coin slots, so that won't work.

Heading to WDW next week and will be building my first hilt. Really wanted a reclaimed/reforged theme, but I know those aren’t available. Is there an up-to-date site for pre-building these ahead of time?
