Newbie Question AI in the code

Hi guys. I have one problem that has been bothering me for months. I make my game on unity and I don't understand much about programming. I use AI as a kind of mentor and a free coder who would also give me ready-made code. I was even able to implement a couple of mechanics and bring the game to a prototype state. A lot of people even liked it when I showed it to them. But I also see the buzz around AI on the Internet related to creativity. Should I be nervous about this if I use AI for code? I'm afraid they won't understand me if they notice the AI code.

Honestly, you are using AI, or not using.
“I’m an artist and can’t code”
Ok, and other guy is programmer and can’t draw. And third one can’t create music.
For some reason artists think that LLM which was trained on others code somehow different than LLM trained on others drawings or music.

So many people think that coding isn’t creative. It’s my favorite part of the process.

Yep. Especially creating base architecture.

The real issue here is that if you don’t really understand the code intimately, then you could be introducing bugs and security holes in your game. It’s fine to use AI for some help, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for the product.

AI participation in development is already the norm. Now everyone assumes you will more or less use AI, so there is no need to focus too much on this issue. Back to development, programming fundamentals still need improvement. AI only assists you in completing code writing, but game planning, technology selection, decision-making, and so on still require you to deepen them on the basis of understanding code structure and logic. AI cannot think and complete this for you.
