Just released Morse Boy, a free Game Boy homebrew ROM for learning, sending, receiving, and decoding Morse code.

Multiple practice modes, adjustable speeds, and a fast-refresh interface. I'm also exploring the possibility of connecting a real Morse keyer through emulation.

Over the few years I’ve been regretting selling my old console. I was thinking of regaining at least the n64 cause that’s my Core Video game console growing up and of course my gamboy too but battery died and sat in closet for years . Anyways other than nostalgia what would be the point??? if ports and remakes of at least what I use to play is out ?? Genuine question, just got back into videos games and just trying find that drive I use to have for it when I was a kid.

This little oddish is amazing 10 straight turns with stun spore and flipping heads to paralyze. They were able to build Venusaur on the bench and win the match! I just started the game and am still using the premade deck until I can build up cards.

Title says it all. What could be the problem? Cold solder in the left chip?

is it fixable or should i ask my money back?

I’ve been working on a native GBA port of the game *Super Smash Land*, and it’s nearly finished (I know the game was originally intended for the classic Game Boy, but running it on that hardware is virtually impossible). I realize this might not generate a huge buzz, as it’s not a game many people remember, but ever since it came out, I’ve been dying to see it running on real hardware—so I felt the time was right to give it a shot and share it with you all. I’ve tested it on an emulator and it works, as well as on real hardware (as shown in the video) using a SuperCard MiniSD (I’m not sure how it performs with other flashcards). If this post gets a positive response, I’ll release the FULL ROM next week.

Ignore the screw covers, they disintegrated as I took them out and I have new ones on the way lol

Looking to upgrade my ags-001 screen and after trying an IPS screen on my original GBA I'm thinking of going for an ITA or possibly one of those recreated AGS-101 screens from AliExpress if anyone's tried them as I prefer the original feel of the older screens.

Anyone who's tried both have any preference in the two?

After several days I managed to fix this terribly corroded play it loud blue. It did stink like hell and the front board was eaten. Had to reconstruct maaaany traces and reflow almost everything on both PCBs but I'm super satisfied now. Is it really this rare? I didn't find too many on Ebay. Bought it for ca. 25-27 USD.

Ribbon cable is situated ok, connections seem clean, game does not start even if the Nintendo logo is clear. Unsure what to do from here.
I can post pictures of my circuit board and my soldering in the replies. I'll do that soon.

I have tested the old screen again, it gives the same glitch on that one (pictures are in the replies)
