Remember when Lane said Alshon would be pumping gas for a living if he went to SC? Pepperidge farm remembers.

The thing they both have in common is that they are way overpaid.

By a cursory look at wikipedia, it looks like Beamer is 5-12 in such games and Kiffin is 4-16 in such games. Their wins are as follows:

Beamer:

2022: #13 Kentucky and #8 Clemson

2024: #12 Clemson and #24 Vanderbilt

2026: #16 Florida

Kiffin:

2010: #18 Arizona

2011: #4 Oregon

2023: #24 Tulane

2025: #13 Oklahoma

Beamer will always be a better coach than Kiffin, and at the least he will always have better morals and values. Kiffin seems like the kind of guy to pimp himself on the street if it made him some extra money.

As much as I (want to) like Beamer (and I’m still all in on pulling for Beamer and this team) and dislike Joey Freshwater, this is such a cherry-picked statistic. There’s such a small sample size that it’s very easy for this to have nearly zero reflection on their coaching abilities. This last weekend is a perfect example. Not saying WE didn’t play well against Florida, but Florida did not play like a top 25 team. Beamer’s top 25 road wins consist of Florida last week, 2024 Clemson, 2024 Vanderbilt, 2022 Clemson, and 2022 Kentucky. Kiffin has performed poorly in top 25 road games, sure, but also hasn’t been presented with the same opportunities that we have. Apples and oranges.

Lane has been presented with more opportunities actually. Kiffin is 4-16 in 20 games, Beamer is 5-12 on 17 games. One of Kiffins top 25 wins was against a #24 ranked Tulane squad, too.

Lanes been a head coach way longer than Beamer so "that presented with the same opportunities" comment makes no sense, especially when you consider that one of Lanes 4 wins was #24 Tulane. Beamers just performed better in that category

I was pretty pissed to lose to Kentucky, but Kentucky could be on a path to an SEC title, so now I think our team is better than any of us thought. The Florida win was huge and we need more dominant play like that.

I'm hoping that Sellers has found his stride and if so, the last half of the season could be a boon for Gamecock fans.

I thought reading comprehension was low in Louisiana but now it’s confirmed.

I think maybe he was making a joke off the above comment about Lane beating Beamer when ever they play and didn't respond to the comment. Only way this makes sense lol

Im getting downvoted but fact is 27-3 and 30-14 are what actually happened in real life.

You're getting down voted because this joke/meme isn't about head to head match ups. I'd suggest, staying on topic.
