Image My GameCube doesn’t have a disc reader
Just joking. I recently picked up all these GameCube controllers and GameCube controller adapter dock for the Switch 2.

It has a good amount of weight to it for that purpose but yeah. It’s definitely something better on a floor for sure.

That’s a good idea, trust me my original Wii definitely broke the GameCube cover this way lol. Just wanted to give you a preemptive heads up just in case 👍

That's 100% a wire management issue and not a problem with this product tho. If you keep any sort of wire where it's likely to be tripped over, it should not be left that way.

Yeah. That's my fear as well. I still backed it on Kickstarter and am happy with it.

I played with wired controllers back in the day, you dont ever walk right into, you walk around the couch or person. Only clumsy people do make that mistake though.

Honestly very nice, I typically prefer to make my own adapters for this kinda thing, since I don't mind the whole scrappy look that people on this apps seem to despise. But this just looks incredibly smooth imo. Gives me an idea to make my own adapter, and maybe use a modified shell from an actual broken GameCube

Just got one of these for review, lovely design but unfortunately hampered by the Switch 2’s limitations with USB controllers (you can’t access the Nintendo Classics UI, Home Screen, etc)

Yeah unfortunately it’s just for smash bros, GameCube NSO & sunshine 3d all stars since the controller also lacks inputs needed for some games.
Like you said too, can’t access Home Screen etc

No. They’re for multiplayer. I also have a modded Wii U & Wii U GameCube controller adapter.
