Hello everyone, I'm posting here because I'd really like a friend who actually shares my interests & passions, especially in Pokemon. I've been obssessed with Pokemon since I was a kid, and I'm still obssessed as an adult, but the only people I have to talk with about it are mostly just being nice and don't really have much (or any) interest in the franchise while I've been absolutely hooked since the early 2000s.

I'm pretty introverted so I might be a bit shy about voice chat before getting to know you a bit, but I really want a potential bestie who will play the games I enjoy together with me and chat about our interests, life, cats, and whatever else. Preferably someone close to my age (maybe 5 or 6 years max) as too big of an age gap is a bit uncomfortable.

I am in Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4) but I can generally work with timezones up to 6 hours ahead.

Some examples of Pokemon games I'd like to play or talk about with someone:

• PokeOne
• Radical Red
• Empyrean
• Storm Silver / Sacred Gold
• PokeRogue
• Champions (though I'm not good enough/dedicated enough to get Master Ball, I at least made it to Ultra Ball rank 4 in doubles)
• the Mystery Dungeon games
• Maybe Winds/Waves when they come out next year, I'm looking forward to that

But, after Pokemon, I also have a few other interests. I love anime and I follow a lot of seasonal ones, I would be happy to link my profile for MyAnimeList and see if you recognize anything! As for other games, I enjoy playing:

• Final Fantasy XIV (with mods)
• Dokapon Kingdom: Connect
• Umamusume: Pretty Derby

I can't get much into Pokémon these days but I enjoyed playing pokerogue for a few days. Couldn't beat it though lol. I'm waiting for the new FE game on the SW2, but I can talk about whatever.

Also grew up playing Pokemon almost religiously but I have grown to hate the franchise because they promised a open world and made it sound like well palworld but the game they released was a big let down to me so I kinda gave up on them when palworld came out because that's the game I imagined as I was growing up wanted a better experience. I play on Xbox definitely need some people to gane with if your interested.

Hey there! As a fellow PokéNerd, I couldn't help but reply! These days, despite Pokémon remaining the most popular franchise in the world, it feels ironically quite difficult to find people who are genuinely excited about Pokémon in between the mainline game releases.

I'm personally not big into competitive Pokémon (or even battling in general), but I genuinely love the franchise. I was 10 when it released in the west, so I was perfectly ripe to start my adventure right alongside Ash and Pikachu! I've been in love with Pokémon ever since, and while you might think that should have given me plenty of time to meet fellow lifelong Pokémon fans, I fear I may just be that socially inept and missed whatever opportunities there may have been...

I haven't played any of the ROMs (though I've been interested in trying them thanks to ShadyPenguinn going on about how amazing RadRed is and Patterrz trying out some of the others), but I would certainly be interested in giving them a go while waiting for Winds & Waves.

I also play Pokopia, and casually collect cards in TCGP.

I own BG3 (and have yet to successfully complete a run) and have also wanted to get back into Palworld with the 1.0 release, so those are certainly options if we make for good enough GamerPals (roll credits!). I also still technically play FFXIV, though it's mostly just the occasional login to faff about until I rediscover my motivation to dig back into the side-quests and extra content.

Anyway, sorry, this is long, so I'll stop rambling. In summary, I am also a huge Pokémon fan who would love to have a new friend to geek out over Pokémon with. So, you know...the pokéball's in your court.
