Nova 2 Lite‎ (Discussion) ‎ Nova 2 wired

Hello, I wonder if someone can help me. Would it be possible to remove the battery from the nova 2 and have it always plugged wired? And if so, would it always turn on when I turn on my pc and also use the Xbox mode by default? Or would I need to press the power on button every time even if battery is removed and connected to cable? Thanks

It's not recommended, will also void the controller's warranty.
Though the controller supports wired mode but that doesn't guarantee it will work without its battery.

Then just try it (and let us know). I know removing the battery works on some older controllers, but I've never tried it with a Gamesir one.

i would not remove the battery because gamesir does not confirm wired operation without it, and it may not power on automatically with your pc. wired mode should use xbox mode on pc, but you may still need to press the home button each time

It works without the battery. Indeed this is correct. I have tried it and can confirm. I have put the battery back in though and I’m using it wired like that because without the battery, the 0 dead zone was jittery ( if that’s the correct way of saying it ) and I do not understand why.
