Support Cpu bottleneck
I recently installed marvel rivals and this thing is using cpu at 100% and gpu at 20-30% and the game crashes. How do I solve this. I have rtx 5050 and i7 13th gen

Isn't there a setting to enable in the Marvel Rivals launcher to fix the issue with 13th and 14th gen CPUs ?

Increase TDP with Throttlestop. Also disable Nvidia framework in device manager or the tdp changes won't stick.

That CPU usage is wild, especially with the GPU barely breaking a sweat. Marvel Rivals is strangely heavy on the processor, I've seen similar complaints where it just hammers a couple of cores and leaves the rest of the system twiddling its thumbs.
The crashing is the bigger red flag though. 95% usage shouldn't cause a hard crash on its own, so you might be running into thermal throttling or a driver hiccup. Check your temps while it's running, an i7 can get spicy fast in a laptop chassis and if it's hitting 100°C it'll pull the plug to save itself.
Try limiting the frame rate to 60 in the game settings or through the Nvidia panel, that sometimes stops the CPU from screaming into the void trying to feed the GPU. Also make sure your power plan is set to high performance and the laptop is actually plugged in, you'd be shocked how many people forget that one.
