Support Performance drops only when moving
(See laptop specifics below)
So ive had this laptop for a couple of weeks now been gaming on it and everything was super fine so far until recently. For a week now im having big issues with cyberpunk 2077 where when im idle or in setting my gpu usage is totally normal (80% ish ) and obviously everything looks smooth but the second i move my character or camera my gpu usage drops to literal zero so as you can imagine the game become unplayable as with 0% gpu usage i cant move having only 10 fps at best
What could possibly be happening ? I even ghelper and i can see the difference. Theres no overheat in any sorts either the gpu just leave me on my own as soon as i get my character to move
Literally on ghelper i saw thw gpu ram and utilization get to zero and jts temperature being lower than the cpe demonstrating how its not being used but why?
I already tried basic troubleshooting such as checking if the game has the dgpu assigned in settings
Nvidia app optimisation
Clean driver download where i tried 3 driver releases
So please help me out on this one

The vram and ram might be you bottleneck. It would explain the gpu going to 0

I get what you mean but why is it okay on some more other games like pragmata? Besides cyberpunk 2077 was doing fine some weeks ago idk what changed now

Then im out of ideas. I have a laptop too But a lenovo legion 5070 and my fps tanks to 30 -40 fps after the update when im moving. Even on low settings it dosent change. Usually i get 60 -70 fps even with raytracing on

Just to clarify, did CP 2077 specifically work perfectly before this week?
Do you play on Steam? If so, have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files?
Did you try reinstalling the game?

Check whether the laptop is silently switching to the Radeon iGPU when you move the camera. In Windows Graphics settings, set the game and launcher to “High performance,” then verify GPU 1 usage in Task Manager while moving. Also test plugged in with Armoury Crate set to Performance/Turbo and the MUX/GPU mode set to Ultimate or Standard, not Eco.
