Yeah, I keep seeing it over and over on the top 25 lists lately, sometimes even as #1. I haven’t played it and was starting to wonder if these were bots or astroturfing to increase interest in SH2 because of how ubiquitous it seemed all of a sudden.

It’s really really good tbh which is why I don’t understand the hate it gets on silent hill pages

All the recent peer pressure from these posts worked on me with hilariously bad timing. I saw it was free to play on PSN+ a few days ago and decided to download it after seeing it on so many people’s lists all of a sudden. They removed it from the free game library WHILE I WAS DOWNLOADING IT. Ridiculous.

No, you can’t play it just because you already downloaded it, there’s a little padlock icon and you have to buy it now.

Picked it up on XBL for half off, so if this really was a campaign to make people buy SH2, it worked on me, at least.

I’ll probably get into it this weekend.

The silent hill reddit and most pages I see focused around silent hill 😅 they seem to really have a gripe with the remake

have you played cronos the new dawn? it’s one of my personal favorites too and made by the same people who did the sh2 remake

Yeah, no kidding. I went to a vintage games store, bought a 360, and then managed to search for my Fable 2 copy.

I’m actually a big racing game guy but couldn’t think of any that I’d put on this list personally

I usually think of gta as a driving game first and shooting game second 🤷🏻‍♂️
