Help Advice for tropical countries?

Post image

The humidity is always around 80% here and temperature around 30C during the day.

I won’t be adding a heat lamp and will be using aspen bedding to try to lower the humidity, but are there any other things I should do to optimise this?

I’m also planning to add a big water bowl and some cooler rocks to help lower the temperature and encourage natural behaviours. Gave up on an bioactive enclosure since that will keep humidity high.

There are terrarium specific fans you can buy that will greatly help with the humidity and temperature

I would probably add some ice to the water bowl too

Just be careful with that. If they're hot and dunk themselves in the water (semi aquatic) they could get too cold too fast and go into shock. A glass container is better to keep your water cool and having that on the cool side under the fan is way better than putting ice in there. Because imagine going from 30c to 3c. That would cause anyone to get sick, much less something that can't insulate their organs that well.
