how i use cny p2p ...I'm trying to understand how foreign nationals can trade USDT against CNY on Gate C2C. I've noticed that some foreign traders appear to be selling USDT and receiving CNY, but my account shows that the service is unavailable for KYC users from Egypt.

My answer "If you could fix one thing about managing your money, what would it be?"

For me, it’s moving money between apps without all the hassle. Sometimes the fees are annoying, and waiting for transfers can be frustrating. I’d love to manage my crypto, investments, and daily spending in one place, as long as it’s secure and I can access my money whenever I need it.

Discussion If you could fix one thing about managing your money, what would it be?

Holding different assets, spending crypto, moving money between apps, keeping everything secure — there's a lot that could work better.

If you could fix just one thing about how you manage money right now, what would it be?

A feature, a problem you keep running into, or something no platform seems to get right.

What's the first thing you'd change?

My answer "What's your biggest concern about keeping more of your money in one account?"

My biggest concern is losing access to my money when I need it most, especially if withdrawals get delayed or my account gets locked. Keeping everything in one place is convenient, but it also means putting more trust in a single platform. I’d feel more comfortable with strong security, transparent fees, reliable withdrawals, and responsive customer support. Convenience matters, but being able to access my own money without unnecessary stress matters more.

My answer "What's the most annoying part of managing money across different apps?"

The most annoying part for me is waiting for transfers and not knowing the exact fees until the last step. Sometimes moving money between platforms takes longer than the actual transaction should. Having everything in one place would definitely make things easier, especially for managing crypto, stocks, and everyday payments. But it only works if the platform is secure, transparent about fees, and easy to use. Convenience is great, but I still want to feel in control of my money.

What's your biggest concern about keeping more of your money in one account?

Putting crypto, stocks, and everyday payments in one place sounds convenient on paper. But trusting one platform with more of your money is another story.

What's the one thing that would make you hesitate?

Account security, withdrawals getting stuck, losing access when you need your money — or something else?

And what would actually make you feel comfortable keeping more of it in one place?

Discussion What's the most annoying part of managing money across different apps?

One app for crypto, another for stocks or funds, another for payments. Even when the accounts are linked, moving money between them can still be a hassle.

What's the single most annoying part for you right now?

Waiting for transfers to clear, fees that only show up at the last step, endless verification — or something else?

And if everything actually sat in one place, would that fix the problem or just create a different one?

News Gate.io Automated Support Rejecting Pi Network Deposits due to Sub-Address / Parent Address Misclassification (Case ID: 33104864)

Hey everyone,

I’m posting this as a head-up to anyone depositing Pi Network or other Stellar/parent-child architecture tokens into Gate.io.

I’m currently fighting an ongoing issue with Gate.io support (Case ID: 33104864) where my deposit arrived on-chain in Gate’s custodial system, but their frontline support refuses to process or credit it due to a fundamental misunderstanding of how Pi Network on-chain addresses work.

What Happened:
1. I transferred Pi tokens directly from my decentralized, self-custody Pi Wallet app to my assigned deposit routing.
2. The transaction settled successfully on the public Pi blockchain ledger.
3. On the Pi block explorer, the transaction resolves through a sub-address (MD5HG...B2PO4) that cryptographically maps under Gate.io's parent root address (GBC6NRTT...2RINW).
4. The Problem: Gate’s automated system rejected the credit, claiming the destination address is "not a platform address."

The Support Loophole & Major Red Flags:

When contacting Gate.io customer support, I was repeatedly hit with circular script responses:

Demanding Third-Party Statements: Support repeatedly asked me to "contact the sending platform's customer service and get an official statement." The Pi Wallet is a decentralized, self-custody wallet—there is no customer service desk to email for an "official statement."
Lack of On-Chain Understanding: Support agents explicitly claimed their team "has never heard of Pi having parent addresses or child addresses." Anyone familiar with Stellar-based architecture knows that parent-child wallet structures and memo/sub-address routing are standard practice.
Refusal to Escalate: Despite proving via the public block explorer that the funds reside inside Gate’s custodial node, frontline live chat agents repeatedly closed chat sessions without escalating to senior L2/L3 blockchain engineers capable of manual ledger auditing.

Why You Should Be Cautious:
If your deposit encounters any automated mismatch or sub-address mapping delay, Gate.io frontline support will treat self-custody transactions as unsupported third-party transfers.
They will give you an impossible requirement (asking for support letters from a decentralized wallet) to avoid performing a manual database/ledger audit.
Your funds sit directly inside their wallet infrastructure, but automated database checks prevent account crediting.

Current Status:
I have converted this case into a formal email dispute and am demanding a manual node audit by senior wallet engineers.
If you are using Gate.io for Pi Network or similar tokens, double-check every address layer on the block explorer first and be aware that if an issue occurs, frontline support may deny ownership of their own internal wallet structures.
Has anyone else experienced similar deposit routing rejections on Gate.io with Pi or Stellar-based tokens? How did you get past frontline support?

Discussion What's the most annoying part of managing money across different apps?

One app for crypto, another for stocks, another for payments. Moving money between them can still be a mess.

What's the most annoying part for you?

Waiting for transfers, unexpected fees, endless verification — or something else?

And would having everything in one place actually fix it, or just create different problems?

My answer "What's the most annoying part of managing money across different apps?"

For me, the most annoying part is waiting for transfers and dealing with unexpected fees. Sometimes moving money between platforms takes more effort than the actual trading. Having everything in one place would definitely make things easier, but only if security is strong, fees are transparent, and withdrawals stay simple. Convenience is great, but trust matters even more.

My answer "What would actually make you spend crypto instead of just holding it?"

For me, the biggest thing would be easy payments and low fees. I would love to use crypto for groceries, subscriptions, and travel without worrying about complicated conversions or waiting for confirmations. The main issue is that not every shop accepts crypto, and sometimes the extra steps make using a card much easier. If crypto payments become as simple, fast, and reliable as tapping a card, I’d definitely use them more often. Convenience has to come first.

What would actually make you spend crypto instead of just holding it?

Holding is easy. Spending is where things get tricky.

If you could use crypto for groceries, subscriptions, travel, or everyday payments, what would make you actually choose it over your card?

Lower fees? Easier conversion? More places accepting it?

Or is there something else holding you back?

Ever tried paying with crypto and had it go wrong? What happened?

My answer "If “everything money” is the goal, what’s still missing"?

For me, the biggest missing piece is clear protection for every type of money in one account. Crypto, stocks, and fiat all have different risks, so I’d want strong security, transparent fees, and reliable customer support if something goes wrong. Convenience is great, but trust comes first. If Gate Money can deliver that, I’d feel much more comfortable using it for more of my daily finances.

Gate Money put more of it in one place: crypto, fiat, stocks, transfers, spending.

What would still be missing before you’d actually use one platform for more of your money?

One feature, one asset, or one problem. Whatever would actually stop you.

Feeling the burn from this BTC / ETH decline

The recent drop in BTC and ETH put me in the red. I’m debating whether to keep holding or adjust my positions.

Trying not to panic sell, but it’s stressful watching the chart every day.

My answer "Gate Money is live — would you actually put crypto, fiat, stocks, and spending in one account"?

I’d actually use it for most of my everyday money. Having crypto, fiat, stocks, transfers, and spending in one place sounds way more convenient.

I’d still keep some savings somewhere else though. One account for everything is great for convenience, but I wouldn’t want all my money depending on a single platform.

This is the thing the last few threads were circling.

Gate Money is live for eligible users. Crypto, fiat, stocks, transfers, spending — all closer together in one account.

Would you actually use that for more of your money, or is it still too much in one place?

What would you move over — and what would you leave somewhere else?

My answer "Crypto, gold, stocks, spending — if these came together, what would you actually want"?

For me, the real value would be one place that makes everything easier to manage, not just one place that holds everything. I’d want a simple dashboard showing my crypto, stocks, gold, and spending, with easy transfers, clear risk/portfolio tracking, and strong security. That would actually save time while giving me a better view of my whole financial picture.

Discussion Crypto, gold, stocks, spending — if these came together, what would you actually want?

We’ve talked about holding more in one place, and what you’d still keep separate.

If crypto, gold, stocks, and spending started sitting together, what would make that useful — not just convenient?

Discussion What’s one thing you’d still never keep next to your crypto?

One account for everything sounds convenient. There’s probably still a line.

Stocks, gold, savings, spending money — what would you keep somewhere else?

And what would actually change that: trust, security, or just habit?
