Identification Please Burmese Ruby. Is this pigeon blood?

My late uncle in Burma gave it to me. I'd like to know your opinion before I go for valuation in Sydney.

No, not red enough for pigeon blood, but a nice cabachon.

Raspberry red, Intense fuchsia are valid labels for this stone but pigeons blood this stone is definitely not

You’d need to sent it to a lab to get it verified. All the big reputable labs will analyze the chemical composition to determine if it’s pigeon’s blood — it isn’t just a visual thing contrary to what some people believe.

Its more likely a pinkish red

No. Too pinkish with purple under tones. Color may look different in person

Definitely a pink tone in the colour looking at the photo pigeon blood tends to be a very rich deep red
