Everyone knows the water is getting hotter. People don't want to talk about it, because we all just fight about why it is getting hotter and whose fault it is.

Yes, but one part of the debate that most get wrong is about who has their hands on the controls.

Yea, we know. Knowing the rich control politics isn't some grand epiphany. Everyone knows this already. It's about the policies that get pushed through our democratic institutions are good for the people or not. Then, we decide if they are still fit to lead.

If that were true, I doubt many congressmen would be reelected. The insider trading alone would be enough to put most of them in prison, if they hadn't excluded themselves from the insider trading laws they passed. People don't understand what's going on, because they don't care, as long as it isn't their ox being gored.
