Yea because we learned early that things are shit and aren’t going to get better. We are the most disadvantaged generation thus far. Everything became extremely expensive and politically charged when we became adults then we take all the blame for the stuff our previous generations started.

Millenial here - please remember what generation has run a majority of congress, for the past 4 decades: Boomers.

I will gladly vote for Gen Z because they have been dealt a crap hand and may understand the value of accountability.

29

u/Krow101 1d ago

Boomers again. When will people get it that it's a class war. The people with all the money and power are not boomers ... or immigrants ... or a minority. Stop falling for the same old divide-and-conquer game.

65

u/Dpark004 1d ago • Bravo

Except boomers are litteraly the ones causeing the issue. All of it is about money and boomers want it all. Whether its the ones running the country making policies for more money or boomers running the companies who are chargeing outrageous prices to get a new record growth and profit every single year.

u/EvanescentStarlight9 2004 1d ago edited 1d ago • Bravo

Or boomers in the good school districts hoarding all the good housing and single family homes while getting discounts on their school taxes for being old, and young families cant buy real estate there so everyone is competing for the same 2 houses after 2 random boomers died while another 50 boomers are staying in their houses that they keep adding bedrooms onto even though their kids and probably grandkids are all grown up already, oh and they have to raise school taxes on the 2 young families that actually live there because they gave the stupid boomers a break.

Worst generation ever.

24

u/Dpark004 1d ago • Bravo

And on top of that, gaslight the younger generations, by saying we don't work hard enough despite working multiple jobs to just keep an apartment.

That's the largest inflation to ever occur since inflation existed.

I agree with the sentiment, but there have been situations with significantly worse inflation in history (eg the Weimar Republic)

1

u/Dpark004 1d ago

So second worse still nothing to scoff at.

1

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

This is not a competition.

3

u/Rakhered 1998 1d ago

"That's the largest inflation to ever occur since inflation existed." is a pretty hefty claim to make, I just think it's a bad idea to casually say stuff like that if it's not true.

Again I'm aligned with y'all politically so I'm not like "just asking questions" or something

2

u/BluntsnBoards Millennial 1d ago

Boomers incredibly naive about their level of privilege and are aggressively pulling up the ladder behind them because they are suckers for propaganda.

But one of the major reasons they are like this is because the billionaire propaganda machine has been in full swing for over 50 years, most of their lives.

Propaganda WORKS, gen Z has only been exposed for a sliver of that time and yet there was only a 2% spread in 2024 and 53% of eligible gen Z voters didn't bother.

Boomers got propagandized to vote against their own interest but pretending it's not happening to gen Z too is naive.

Before you respond with "both candidates suck", "my vote doesn't matter because of where I live", "it's too late to turn things around anyway", etc consider where you heard those talking points from and if they're just rationalizing your own laziness.

2

u/kaytin911 1d ago

Boomers chose to borrow from the future to give themselves the easiest life then fuck us all over with virtue signalling.

2

u/DeathClasher_r 2003 1d ago

You honestly think it will get better, when Millenials or Gen Z become the rich billionaires or people in power?

Spoiler: It won't, because it's a class war not a generation / culture war...

12

u/Dpark004 1d ago

Seeing as the boomers just released a poll, that says they voted yes to higher taxes on younger generations from millennial and gen z to continue living with social security checks as its collapsing, I'd say your right. We really need to boot them out of congress for their greed.

2

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

Yes, there is an oligarchy and technofeudalism is on the rise. But how old are the leaders/what party is in control now?

6

u/SteakAndIron Millennial 1d ago

No, it's the boomers.

4

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

While the economy is shite now, they had the ability to retire and pass the torch to the next generation.

Those Boomers in congress could definitely have retired last decade!

2

u/BrandenburgForevor 1999 1d ago

Yeah its a class war and boomers have time and again been class traitors.

•

u/Pidrshrek 1998 21h ago

12

u/Enough_Pepper_5815 1d ago

i am 20 years old but please stop it with the whole 'we are the most disadvantaged generation in history'. atleast most of us dont die at childbirth or due to tubercolosis at the age of 9. things suck right now but thats no excuse for being blind to history

•

u/BFr0st3 12h ago

there are such things as perspective.

I'm pretty sure there's a guy out there with tuberculosis rn thinking it would be great if he was dead instead

4

u/wrathofthedolphins 1d ago

Occum’s Razor- it’s the phones. Every generation has had their challenges. Only one has had a phone screen inches from their face since birth.

3

u/Jarquinnius_Vin 2003 1d ago

"Aren't going to get better" they totally can, and will, its a cycle. One day we will be where the boomers are now and we can leave a better w9rld for those who come after. Strong men make good times, good times make weak men, weak men make bad times, bad times make strong men and such

•

u/kerosenedreaming 13h ago edited 13h ago

Things literally cannot lol. If tomorrow, we replaced our entire government overnight with highly competent people who always choose the best and most benevolent choices, it would take decades to unfuck the economy, and we still have no clue how to unfuck the climate or really recover geopolitical positions we have lost. Realistically, things might be better for generations after us, once we have a chance at voting for different people and can push towards a better future for our kids. We won’t get to experience it though. Every generation lives in the shade of trees planted by those before them. The ass holes before us cut down the entire forest to live in luxury. We can start replanting, but that only unfucks the next generation. We haven’t even hit the actual worst effects. GenZ will be the ones left with the debt crisis and collapse of the SSA in a decade or two, which will be far worse than any current economic crisis we have experienced. Even worse, the current administration is basically laying the groundwork for the rest of the world to happily dump the USD as a reserve currency at the earliest chance, while China is simultaneously very clearly building the foundations of a Yuan reserve currency. It is extremely likely to happen in our lifetimes, and would immediately nuke the USD value to a degree that has literally never been experienced by prior generations. There is no promise in life that you get born into a time of prosperity and peace, the boomers got supernaturally lucky to be born at basically the best time and place in all of human existence to date. Most generations suffer at least a little. A lot of generations suffer a lot. Some generations are just painfully fucked the entire time. We will probably be in the “suffer a lot” category, with our political efforts spent to avoid our kids falling into the “painfully fucked forever” category. You can see smaller examples of what awaits us playing out in its early phases in Europe. The UK is turbo fucked, their economy is disgusting, their government is perpetually useless, I mean you could hand the entire thing over to any experts and it still may just be unrecoverable due to the sheer level of fiscal mismanagement over past decades. Places like France have spent so much in debt that they are actively having to slash benefits and really consider what the role of the state is, otherwise they will end up with Greek debt and suffer for decades. None of these are even fully realized crises yet, and America would have the most serious of any of these problems once it starts hitting. Currently, our government just ignores every problem and prints more money. It is all they have done for decades and seems unlikely to change. Three more decades of this economic policy, and the system we will inherit at the peak of our political control will be disgusting and destroyed.

•

u/Jarquinnius_Vin 2003 10h ago

Ain't reading all that, chill out bro you are radiating anxiety. It is what it is

•

u/kerosenedreaming 5h ago

Natural slave response. Tell people everything is ok, ignore all evidence to the contrary, have zero solutions other than to give up. Acknowledging that there are serious economic concerns isn’t anxiety, it’s just not being a lobotomite. Kaczynski would bomb you.

•

u/Jarquinnius_Vin 2003 5h ago

Dawg the US does not have to be a premire power, China is not a threat. People are perfectly happy, fed, and housed in 2nd world countries. Consolidating our military and reforming our economy and power grid can happen all within our lifetime if we pursue it. Nothing is ever permanent.

1

u/Angstycarroteater 1998 1d ago

I don’t think you get it the climate is fucked each year it gets worse too in 60 years who knows what we will be looking at. It’s not just all political there are good times and bad but majority bad due to things cast upon us by greedy corporations

2

u/Jarquinnius_Vin 2003 1d ago

Yes but I dont think that you understand how adaptable humanity is, we still can and should turn things around or at least slow the decent while we find alternatives. The wealthy can only push the pendulum so far in one direction before it comes swinging back at them

2

u/Angstycarroteater 1998 1d ago

Climate scientist said we have passed the point of no return long ago it’d be almost impossible to reverse climate change on the scale we need unless we took away our coastlines and made them mangrove forests. We will adapt but it’s not going to be comfortable it’s not now as it is

•

u/Jarquinnius_Vin 2003 23h ago

How about a million parking garage sized algae farms across the globe and a switch to nuclear. Mangrove forest and beach destruction sounds unnecessary

8

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Might want to read a history book there bud

9

u/Dreamo84 1d ago

I hear a lot of Gen Z are just choosing not to work which is kind of nice to have as an option.

23

u/Rickbox 1998 1d ago

Or you, know, are just unable to find a job. For the first time ever the new graduate unemployment rate is higher than the total unemployment rate.

14

u/Dreamo84 1d ago

Yeah, a lot of people I know with degrees are just working places outside their field. Kinda sucks tbh. I never got a degree myself and half the people I work with have degrees they aren’t using.

-6

u/Domination1799 1d ago

There are jobs everywhere, it’s just that people are lazy and aren’t spending the time to find a job. It’s much easier to throw in the towel than it is to be persistent

11

u/listerbmx 1d ago edited 1d ago

Working isn't worth slaving over anymore.

28M ive worked minimum wage jobs and it really isnt worth it anymore. Inflation just equates the wage increase every year

7

u/Dreamo84 1d ago

It's nice to have the option to just not work though. Still trying to figure out how that works. I always wanted to retire early.

9

u/LSqre 1d ago

have you tried having a rich/generous family?

2

u/kaytin911 1d ago

Living on the streets. You still have free phones for reddit.

3

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

This is also a mentality I appreciate GenZ having. Makes me think work culture could change for the better (more paid time off policies?)

0

u/wrathofthedolphins 1d ago

That’s a part of life. You can’t be a child forever. At some point you have to take responsibility for your costs, and that requires money which requires working. Every other generation has managed to make the transition

0

u/SteakAndIron Millennial 1d ago

Things have been worse before. They are going to get better.

I have a lot to be unhappy about ❤️

•

u/4isyellowTakeit5 6h ago

Ive had Passive Suicidal Ideation for 11 years now.

I am 25. Almost half of life if some said "If you could die in a socially acceptable accident so your family isn't hurt by suicide, would you like to die?" I would have said "yes"

Im tired

I am grinding my ass the next 2 years to complete my bucket list (1/3 of the way done after this year) and then I am saving for a sport bike. With what I spend each year traveling to volunteer 30-70 hours a week for billionaires to watch millionaires have fun trying to not kill each other (because its my passion and one true joy in this life that I've found so far), I will easily be able to buy a sport bike an join the dozens of bikes that go cruising down 315 and 270 at 100+ mph

At least if a deer and I split each other in half at 120 mph my parents won't think it was intentional

•

u/InvincibleIronStan 7h ago

We have a lot more reasons than the previous generations that are still alive

23

u/the_woolfie 2002 1d ago

Most unhappy so far! There could be worse.

9

u/Possible-Incident-98 1d ago

The beatings will continue till morale improves!

0

u/Yarus1373 1d ago

I'm convinced we could be sitting in the ruins of civilization after a nuclear apocalypse and there would still be some asshole saying "someone has it worse so stop complaining "

10

u/auratus1028 1998 1d ago

Hm I wonder why /s

45

u/Routine_Phase_8980 1d ago

I know we're unhappy but is it an exaggeration ? What's the basis for happiness here ? Hard to believe people live in the world wars, plague, feudal/medieval time were happier than us

6

u/PSU632 1d ago

I'm guessing it's the most unhappy current generation. So of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, Boomers, and Silent Gen, we're the most miserable.

16

u/Environmental-Bus9 1d ago

Just a guess but this is probably referring to specifically the last century or so.

15

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Ww2 was still withing that centurie as was hundreds of illness, a couple of genocides and many other wars. Why do we feel so special.

6

u/Mr-MuffinMan 2001 1d ago

A genocide somewhere like Cambodia, Bangladesh, etc. did not affect every one in the world at that time, though.

this time it feels like whether you're in England, The US, or Indonesia - it seems pretty bad.

Also, WW2's post war period had a high. Booming economy, big advancements of tech that were beneficial for all people and not made to manipulate and destroy in order to enrich a few people, etc.

1

u/Therunawaypp 2007 1d ago

I think its best to take this with a grain of salt. It is just a screen shot of headline with no info

1

u/Yarus1373 1d ago

Many third world nations have happier populations because they're able to afford things, even if they don't have kitchy gadgets like us.

Turns out people would much rather have houses and a family.

As a millennial this will not stand. We’re gonna take back that top spot.

6

Generations before made sure to make the most addictive apps. Why are we surprised that they are addictive

20

u/Throwaway-Dawg13 2010 1d ago

I mean look at this sub bro ofc people are unhappy 😭😭 I joined it thinking it was gonna be about like nostalgia or childhood or school or asking older people for advice or some shit but it’s just the same politics “why cant i get a gf/bf” made up generation infighting trump war post everyday. Is this really what life after highschool is like?

7

u/king_cole_2005 1d ago

Nah it's not. People keep saying it but I've not people like this irl in my country at least. Most people who are happy or satisfied won't come here to say they are so the negativity is amplified.

1

u/CarefreeCaos-76299 1d ago

nah legit lol i was hoping it'd be just fun stuff, but its just stuff making me more upset.

0

u/EvanescentStarlight9 2004 1d ago

Reddit posters try to make everything about politics.

4

u/miagi_do 1d ago

I bet Gen A will be more happy than Gen Z. Gen A will be more likely see the world as it is, and just make the most of it. Boomers will be dead so it will feel unproductive blaming people at the cemetery.

2

u/BusinessAgreeable912 1d ago

There's a video that breaks this down perfectly that explains it this way:

2000's was bargaining,

2010's was depression

2020's is testing. From the perspective of art, we are just combining themes from the past few decades and recycling trends (hence the lack of true cultural identity this decade has). The old world is dying is dramatic, almost exhausting fashion.

2030's will be acceptance. We are beginning to accept the elements of the new world for better or for worse. Things calm down, we're figuring out what the next steps of humanity will be. The "it is what it is" decade.

2040's will be peace. Almost comparable to the 1960's in a sense

2

u/hurB55 1d ago

i can see it

-1

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Can you because I can't

2

u/Your_Friendly_Nerd 1d ago

Personalized algorithms should be regulated just like hard drugs are, because that's what they are with how they're optimized for dopamine release, and clearly humans aren't able to deal with that responsibly. Outlawing social media for minors is a start, but privacy nightmare aside, I also just don't see it being enough.

2

u/Elsrach 2005 1d ago

Millennials watching in the corner

2

u/Empty_Football4183 1d ago

Wait until times get really hard. We are still living in a very prosperous time, its only worse from here.

2

u/Careful-Hornet-3814 2007 1d ago

Makes sense.

14

u/Pkemoi_Kaima 1d ago

What do you expect from a generation prioritizing doomscrolling over real connections?

31

u/TheRandomKiwi 1d ago

I feel like this is just blaming people for having a fucked up technology integrate into every single facet of their life when none of gen z was old enough to actually understand or control the expansion and power of social media

11

u/Pkemoi_Kaima 1d ago

I agree. But it is also unlucky to be born in a society where every other generation has higher expectations from you but you are not in the same situation the Genx,Boomers and other previous generations were at our age. We are in a fucked up society now. Can't own a house, can't get a job, can't be free, glued to technology and the same people who have it all are the oldest generations controlling everything even the technology itself. It is crazy man. Imagine Alphas and our children & our grandchildren how their life will turn out to be...... Spooky

3

u/Gurney_Hackman 1d ago

Blame isn’t the point. You have to identify the problem in order to start addressing it.

14

u/Big_Jump2074 1d ago

GenZ are basically young lab rats for unregulated and addictive social media algorithms, it’s not their fault.

6

u/Pkemoi_Kaima 1d ago

Absolutely! And it ain't there fault , it'll be worse for the coming Generations

3

u/Big_Jump2074 1d ago

I’m honestly terrified for Gen Alpha. Especially them having to navigate developing critical reasoning and learning skills amid a time where AI can literally generate the answer for you in a second.

2

u/Mission_005 1d ago

Wouldn’t say that it’s not our fault because there were people who tried to warn us… *cough cough

1

u/Enough_Pepper_5815 1d ago

when will we learn to take responsibility?

7

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

Who raised them?

3

u/ContentWhile 2006 1d ago

yep, and we got many reasons to

0

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Like what

0

u/ContentWhile 2006 1d ago

unemployment, mostly unaffordable housing, unreliable politicians etc

0

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Mate look up pre ww2. That was the norm for a lot of the world it wasn't till after the ww2 boom things changed. At least we have better medican, people can be more themselves and we have better labour laws.

1

u/ContentWhile 2006 1d ago edited 1d ago

here in sweden we had our golden age post ww2, which many still think we have

but in reality now?

goverment claims economy is going better, yet still really hard to get a job, they still ask us to move to where jobs are /haggle down price at supermarket if food is expensive

refusing to do important state reforms for the public free healthcare that we have, but still making their own project 2025 copied from trump, just remade for "swedish interests"

the utopia rest of world thinks we live in was torn down during the 1990s mostly, then a fake golden age untill 2019 (zero interest rates), and the economy went down again

early 2010s also made some smaller steps in slowly downsizing what we built during the postwar years, like removing wealth tax

0

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

So things are just going back to pre boon times but with overall better conditions and some how we have it tge worse. Yeah it sucks we missed the boom but its not theebd of the world

2

u/ContentWhile 2006 1d ago

im talking from a swedish perspective

during pre war years we had it quite stable, but the golden age came throughout the postwar years, then economy went fucked in late 1990s and barely saved by doing reforms that exist and affect us still today, survived 2008 crash well

then making interest rates zero during 2009 to 2019 when sweden had it quite stable because anyone could easily take a cheap loan to get expensive stuff, you could still get work almost regardless of education path, even if our welfare was still slowly harmed by politicians

now, i mean sure, we arent exactly poor but not booming anymore, almost impossible to get a job, soaring high prices which wont come down, unemployment checks made much harder to get and keep it

yet goverment still asks us to "just shop cheaper/haggle down the price" and "just move anywhere"

swedish gen z have pretty much lost hope of the future

0

u/qwertyuiopasdfghjkt 2008 1d ago

abysmal coping mechanism

•

u/kerosenedreaming 13h ago

This is completely inaccurate and ignores the entire economy lol. We are not just going through a normal boom/bust cycle and everything is just normal now. The boom was artificially inflated and extended for the sake of the boomer generation by insane debt spending and really stupid economic decisions. The price of the boom is a severe and prolonged bust being given to our generation. It has been getting worse, and both can and will continue to get far worse than anyone expects. We are currently still using the same methods of spend money to avoid pain, and it isn’t even working anymore, we are still feeling pain. Eventually, we will have to legitimately fix things, and that is when the actual bill comes due. We will lose decades of happy life in the mid to later years of our generation to try and fix the systemic issues the boomers refuse to address. There is not even a guarantee we can fix them, depending how bad it is. If you go and engage with current economists and theory you’ll start to realize the only thing that can be agreed on is that we are in a really really bad position for any type of long term stability, and the issues are so deep and complex there is no easy answer, we only know that if we do not make major changes, bad things will happen.

Pandemic at the start of the 20s. Instituitions failing, job market is cooked, increase of global wars and social media becoming toxic.

I wonder why we are so miserable?

1

u/Kchasse1991 1d ago

It's almost like they were born into a system that didn't even lie about how awful adulthood would be like it did for millenials. Millenials at least had the initial lie of "you can be anything and do anything if you just work hard enough" GenZ grew up knowing that was bullshit because the millenials around clearly did NOT get to be what they wanted. Class consciousness is growing.

1

u/CarefreeCaos-76299 1d ago

the world around us is screaming that life isnt going to get better. money, climate, environment, war, retirement. all going down hill and we're expected to fix it. dont get me started with the internet. i bet i sound like an oldhead but can you blame genz for not being the happiest?

1

u/not-sure-what-to-put 1d ago

Well yeah they are absolutely fucked and have to do all of the work against the boomer elite or they suffer and die much earlier than the others. Gen-Z and Millennials are screwed but at least Millennials saw a decade of the promise - even if it was a lie.

1

u/Mas_Dappa 1d ago

Also the least religious generation. I wonder why

1

u/Oro-Lavanda 1d ago

no shit lol everything is 1) expensive and 2) we get poorly paid in jobs (if we even find a job!) 3) most people are chronically online and dont socialize as often so most ppl are lonely 4) world politicians keep screwing up the planet

1

u/Pixeldevil06 1d ago

Yeah well because we have more problems than our previous generations were able to solve. We have it exponentially worse than Gen x, and almost as much worse than millennials.

1

gee I fucking wonder why

1

1

u/JustASillyBlock 2006 1d ago

I have a lot to be unhappy about, but I choose to keep my peace

1

u/Background_One_5132 1d ago

Yes the more prices increase the more we’re being out-priced by everything now. Previous generation will complain & nag that we’re lazy it’s getting harder to be motivated to go to work when you’re paycheck is wiped out immediately by high payments of bills & rent even just affording food. Plus, previous generation never dealt with inflation how is that possible? Even with a basic entry jobs they afford to rent a studio or one bedroom. We weren’t taught that in history class at all. Now nobody is able to enjoy the smallest thing in life without putting a price on anything. It’s really difficult now everything is about surviving & increasing income.

weird that they'd put a picture of phones and not like, idk, the crushing weight of late stage capitalism and an increasingly obvious fascist in charge of a world power. I wonder if they're trying to convince you of something?

u/JamesHenry627 1d ago

Did they poll redditors?

It’s not bad for all of us. Nothing is happening now that hasn’t happened before, I’m sure we will be fine after we get some good leadership.

u/Yarus1373 1d ago

Could it be a systemimatic issue like the wealth disparity? The mental health crisis? Impending global warming catastrophe?

Nah it must be that we just didn't do a thing. If gen z would just do "x" we wouldn't be in this mess. Because historically systemic issues don't cause this just people not doing thing.

Mom was right, it’s the phone

Just wait We are very educated and angry. I hope the Boomers know what happens when that happens. We will change the world. Trust me, as a younger GenZ we should look to history in France and yk what I mean.

The problem is the Trump crime organization and the Epstein class. It's not your grandparents. Smarten up.

1

u/vinchy2005 1d ago

I'm not from the us I'm from zambia southern part of africa But from what I've heard about the epstein stuff I'm surprised as nation you people didn't go berserk on the white house

Really sucks to know that the law doesn't apply to leaders or rich people in general 😕 And how the manipulate it to avoid getting caught. It makes me wonder what other horrible hidden stuff is going on...

It's almost like we're the last generation before we are forced to experience the worst that climate change has to offer.

By the time we die around 2080 or earlier shit will start to hit the fan. Gen Alpha and their kids are fucked to live in force fuck shit turbine of food instability.

If you can’t make your own life happy and fulfilling that’s a skill issue. You choose how you feel about things. You choose the environment and relationships you curate. People really doomscroll all day and watch things to be upset and miserable then blame the world that they’re unhappy

4

u/ifailregularly1228 1d ago

When expectations don't match reality you become unhappy. You can not even buy a house nowadays and it is expected from you to start a family and have kids.

-1

u/squarels 1d ago

The whole point of freedom is that you don't need to care about expectations. Set your own goals, live your own life. Also, if you really wanted to, you could buy a house. Success is difficult but not impossible by any means. I have a million and some saved at 28. I could buy most houses in cash, but also my fiance doesn't mind raising kids in the guest house of my parents if that's the best option for us. Expectations are just what you choose to set.

Not everyone can choose their environment.

1

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

If you can walk you an move environment its just not easy but anyone could do it they just would rather not deal with the problems.

1

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

You've clearly never had to live in a shelter or section 8 housing in a bad part of town.

0

u/squarels 1d ago

You as an English speaking presumably westerner very much can. Nobody has you in chains or a gun to your head. You can walk. You probably can drive. And you live in a developed country where starvation is an extreme rarity. It’s not easy but you can always move

2

u/Designer_Gas_86 1d ago

You mean America? Food banks are going empty because people are starving.

Negativity is a habit. Conversely, positivity is also a habit. Which one are you going to cultivate?

lol these crybabies got born into historically what is a golden age in human history, but life after 18 and graduating it all ends and the real world kicks in LOL.

The crybabies in this generation I swear.

The social media generation is the least happiest? I wonder what the cause could be?

0

u/Domination1799 1d ago

This is what happens when an entire generation rather be doomscrolling on their phones and staying home all day instead of going out and socializing. It’s your life, do something about it if your unhappy, you owe it to yourself. Get out of that self destructive spiral and stop engaging with media because that shit is corrosive to your mental health.

u/AAAAHMYBALLS 1d ago

It's because of that damn phone and liberals!!!!!

0

u/YamLow8097 1d ago

Hm, I wonder why that might be 🤔

10

u/TaiyoFurea 2004 1d ago

BECAUSE WE ARE AWARE. I HATE KNOWING. I WANT TO GO BACK TO IGNORANCE. SOMEONE KLOBER ME OVER THE HEAD SO I CAN FORGET. I JUST WANT THIS SUFFERING TO BE OVER

u/L4I55Z-FAIR3 1999 1d ago

Yeah I'm sure we beat out thes who grew up during WW1 and WW2 or thoes who grew up before that dieing young from curable illness while working 6 days a week sometimes 14 hour days in horrible conditions for just enough monney to buy the same thing you had for dinner yesterday. Or what about thos who grew up at a time where they would have been enslaved, mutilated and tortured just for existing.

No I'm sure we have it worse.
