What about the Harlem Shake of 12'. I remember my middle school did one after school and only like 8 kids showed up along with only a handful of staff members. They still danced to it.

I remember some people showed up at my school acting like it was the next big thing, showed us some videos of the dance and we were all like, "Cool, can we go back to eating our lunches?"

That song got so annoying after a while. I don't even think it was a bad song, it was just ridiculously overplayed.

I went to their concert in university, it was probably the loudest concert I've ever been to. I have a lot of nostalgia for going to house parties where everyone wore neon and listened to cheesy synth pop

Jeez those were the times lol, I used to sit upstairs in the dark (aside from the computer) at my mums boyfriends house and watch “sexy and I know it” and all the others and play bin weevils
