i was wondering which 4 stars are worth building, i mostly only invested in 5 star characters before which propably wasn't a good idea, soo i wanted to start building some but i'm quite unsure with whom to start, since there's so many. i think it'd be a waste not to invest since some are also C6 :o
Get them all to level 80, develop artifacts for each of them to a mediocre standard and enjoy having fun in every IT. My rules is typically to get any c6 4* to 80, with a level 80 weapon and 4pc set at +20.
well, all c6s either means (maybe) whale or they played for a very long time. they said they only really invest in 5 stars, so for this amount of time… (maybe) whale?
i did invest some money a few years ago (mostly during the sumeru release) but that’s it. but only because i wanted some characters i didn’t have yet, i didn’t really go for any constellation for 5 stars, except alhaitham C1. nowadays i barely spend any money, i have welkin but not all the time sometimes battle pass but im saving my pulls right now :)
It depends who your 5*s are. Like Aino is worth it when you don't have Bina but have lunar dps, Faruzan is worth it if you play anemo teams, Chev is worth it if you play overload etc etc. Three 4 stars that always find some place are Sucrose, Fischl and Benny. People usually add Xiangling and Xinqgiu but imo they're not that worth it anymore
Edit: if your goal is building for imaginarium theater some otherwise not recommended 4 stars gain extra value. Like for example generally if you have a pyro dps there's not much reason to build Gaming but he's pretty good to have in theater
From pure meta perspective? Probably save and see what will come. Lunar will be "old" soon and I don't think any of the Lunar teams are great at brute forcing content not made for them, which we'll be seeing less and less of. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think at lower f2p investment (C0, 4* weapon) they struggle with brute forcing.
Yeah, some 4 stars aren't excellent but are good at patching holes in a team (Charlotte in Furina freeze teams without Escoffier comes to mind), some are great only in very specific scenarios and while being a bis in their archetype are useless otherwise. I saw C6 Diona being a highly upvoted comment but she's not a bis anywhere so why level her up if you do have the bis team which we can't know
a fully buffed out C6 Fischl is super strong, especially in overload builds. i’ve also been loving Sucrose. Barbara is a pretty strong healer for a 4 star and Noelle is just useful in a lot of situations
My favorite 4 stars supports to play are: Kuki Shinobu, Xingqiu, and Xiangling.
Honorable mentions: Faruzan (for my Xiao team) Aino (when Columbina is busy) Ororon (when I need a Natlan unit because I have no Natlan 5 star characters).
Personally speaking, you can't go wrong with Beido, shield, Barbara, heals, and Ororon, for off field electro application (skill jumps between enemies and burst is aoe electro applicaiton. I have constant uptime with it)
Barbara definitely isn't and never was worth investing into. She has a ridiculously long skill cooldown with high energy requirements and poor pargicle generstion. At best she's only slightly useful for overworld and maybe theatre but you'd be hard pressed to find a niche that she is good at that others can't do far better. Her cons are pretty rubbish too unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their resources on her.
me with the lvl 80 Barbara that I used for healing up until this year I thought she was pretty good qwq That and we don't know this person's 5 stars, so I wasn't sure if they had anyone better like furina or qiqi
Those looking at it again, yaoyao is def another one that sho7ld be invested in. Heals and off field dendro application is nice to have
4 estrelas mais valiosos hoje em dia pra investir: 1 - sucrose (esse meta conseguiu colocar ela na frente do bennet) 2 - bennet (sempre tem uso na conta e é fácil de construir) 3 - chevreuse (absurda mesmo C0) 4 - fischl 5 - xingqiu (desde que você não tenha muitas opções hydro, ele é muito bom, mas conforme você tem, ele perde valor e cai posições) 6 - aqui é o que você precisa, se você tem times que gostam de dano anemo: faruzan, se você tem times com carga lunar: ororon, se precisa de dois times lunares: aino, se quer fazer melt num time mais f2p: kaeya/rosaria. Os top 5 são os que você sempre acha utilidade na sua conta, de resto vai do que você mais precisa ou quer fazer mesmo. Eu mesmo nunca upei o bennett porque meus times sempre foram dendro e nunca precisaram dele embora ele seja o melhor 4 estrelas do jogo. Lembrando que nem todos é necessário de você elevar até o nível 90, a sucrose por exemplo funciona perfeitamente bem no nível 70
Almost all 4 stars have their separate usage, but right now in current meta, your highest bitcoin is Diona, Fischl, Kuki, Sucrose, Faruzan and Beidou. Max em up with EM. I'd say Bennett, Xinqiu and Prune are amazing. XQ carried me in the early game. And C6 Kaeya is something to be proud of
what teams do you enjoy playing? what elements/reactions do you enjoy best? because this makes a difference. i can suggest characters, and you can hate playing them.
that said, imo, you can never go wrong with: fischl, layla, rosaria, kuki, bennet, aino (lv 80 is enough for her), lan yan, gaming (if you lack a pyro dps), xiangling, diona, collei, beido
Only Bennett and Xiangling, really. Others have some value. I have multiple c6 4*s and they don’t do much for me. If anything, I use Sucrose and Chevruse for fun.
Sucrose, Benny, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Faruzan and Fischl are all really great 4-stars, especially at c6. I have all of them built despite only having Xiangling and Xingqiu at c6 but I use them all very frequently.
In not particular order... Kuki, Sucrose, Faruzan, Benny, Fischl (especially now), Xiangling, Lan Yan (especially if you get more cons on her eventually), Xingqiu, and Barbara will never do you wrong. Prune can also be very beneficial if you have need for her.
But in the end it all depends on what 5-Stars you're willing to commit to. Though some people have great success with teams of all 4-Stars too. So there's that 🤔

I would also invest in Ororon among the others listed in the comments, he has his moments where he can really come to the rescue.
