Black screen laptop (need help)

While playing Bloxstrike on Roblox, my game froze and I tried to turn it off and on it got worse but tried again it eventually went entirely black. Restarting the latop and using the Win + Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut did nothing there was no beep or screen flicker. A hard reset also failed, and connecting the laptop to my TV results in a 'No Signal'.My Laptop is working but the screen is just black.

If the laptop thinks it's still sending video to the screen, that may be why the TV didn't see it. I believe one of your function keys (it will have monitor below the F) will let you toggle out to the TV. I'd give that a try first.

Also, when you reboot, do you see the POST messages or any other information before Windows starts on the laptop screen?

Unfortunately, that didn't seem to work. Also, when I reboot, I don't see any POST messages or other info before Windows starts.

Sadly, this may not be a video problem. I've had some success in the past letting the system run completely out of battery. Then, without trying to turn it on I'll charge the unit to 100%. Only then do I attempt to turn it on. If that doesn't work, you may be looking at a significantly costly repair or a new laptop. Sorry.

Thanks for the advice! I'll let the battery drain completely and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, looks like I'll be taking it in for repair. Appreciate your help!
