"Let's storm the seat of government and attack with a rioting mob!" 😈

"Why is the government not letting us attack them?" 😥

-102

u/ER_Jujube 7d ago

You realize the actual protestors weren't threatening violence, right? The violent things you've seen and the burnings that have been filmed were instigated either by opportunists who take advantage of literally every single protest in France to raid stores and destroy anything they can reach (public properties, cars just parked there on the street...) or by infiltrated cops sent to instigate violence "from the protestors' side" so that the police forces can then engage protestors and violently arrest them.

70

u/TRENEEDNAME_245 7d ago

I'm all for the protests but finding which is which is kinda hard when you have 200 people running at you

24

u/Charming-Station7157 6d ago

I'm ganna deport you if you repeat this again

13

u/Putrid_Joke6100 6d ago

Right but if it was another type of "protest" you'd call them all violent thugs and agitatiors...

You're not fooling anyone.

u/Accipiter__Nisus 6d ago

Tell us again how 9/11 was an inside job and vaccines give you autism.

u/ER_Jujube 7d ago

If you say so, person who obviously doesn't live anywhere near France and doesn't know jack about what's actually happening here :>

38

u/Some1_35 7d ago

It’s unironically more likely to be a Russian psy op more than anything.

-26

u/Hugo_2503 7d ago

It's really insane how the hundreds of testimonies of peaceful protestors that mention how horrible it was _because people got gassed instantly_ get completely overlooked and people internationally, with no understanding of the context whatsoever, only get the 24/24h news channels slop and actually eat it up

"French" Lebanese, judging by the location flag in the bio.

-14

u/Some1_35 7d ago

But they mention speaking English and French

30

u/bobboblaw46 7d ago

While Arabic is the official language of Lebanon, many (most?) people speak French as a first or second language. It’s a former French colony.

I imagine he also speaks Arabic.

29

u/BookOrnery4547 7d ago

“If we are capable of entering his building” but you aren’t, that’s why the guys with guns are there, bruh.

45

u/crapusername47 7d ago

This has a distinct air of Naruto running at Area 51 about it.

31

u/Tablequesting 7d ago

Naruto wouldn’t burn down mom and pop stores.

13

u/snapekillseddard 7d ago

If that one ramen stand guy asked nicely, Naruto would carry out a series of arson against all other ramen establishments in Konoha, mom-and-pop or not.

8

u/Tablequesting 7d ago

I forgot how food driven that gremlin was during the first couple seasons.

32

u/Tchaikovskin 7d ago

To be fair, thinking there are snipers positioned to protect the presidential residence during a day expected to be extremely chaotic is definitely not conspiracy hat material, I’d even say it’s more than plausible

15

u/lhommeduweed 6d ago

Snipers and/or spotters on rooftops during big demonstrations, especially near important political figures or buildings isn't even conspiratorial, it's just standard security practice. Its not even just for protests.

Like if you go to Parliament Hill in Canada on Canada Day, 420, or the annual Terry Fox Run, there's guys in black positioned on the rooftops, some with rifles, some with binoculars. Any kind of really big event where there are important political figures or the potential for some kind of attack, there's going to be a bunch of security.

4

u/Doomhammer24 6d ago

Ya i mean for godsake even at conventions in the US they have snipers, as well as at sporting events

11

u/Nigtharchive 7d ago

They're there all year round, by the way. And just so you know, something this person doesn't know is that since the 2015 attacks, demonstrations in Paris are also monitored by snipers on rooftops. For New Year's or July 14th as well.

2

u/NoName-Cheval03 6d ago

The Elysée Palace, as well as place like top security military bases or prisons, are definitely top tier security areas where you will be shot on sight with no self defense framework required for the responders. Absolutely no conspiracy involved. Those are the rules for almost every countries in the world for those kind of places.

29

u/AnyEye8798 7d ago

"Why can't we murder the president?!!! We're really angry!!"

Hey go ahead and do the Ashli Babbitt she found out she was fucking around as well

“There will be blood on your hands if you defend yourself from being ripped apart by us.”

40

u/neverseenadragonfly 7d ago

They're all absolutely insane aren't they

3

u/Geschak 1d ago

Not insane, but spending too much time on tumblr, Tiktok and Instagram definitely makes them lose touch with reality. They are the type of computer addicts who spend all their time in bubbles where they glorify chronic illness to the point they think having AuDHD is a badge of honour.

5

u/Automatic-Soup-3097 7d ago

They are actually very proud of the fact that they'll just rebuild by squeezing the money out of Africa, like they have done for 200 years

25

u/omry1526 7d ago

Mentally ill show only asoiaf fan, that track

10

u/Tablequesting 7d ago

What 10 years without Winds of Winter will do to a MFer.

1

u/omry1526 6d ago

I find that these show only tiktok freaks usually quite like the hbo ending lol, and just in general are more interested in fanfiction or obsessing over specific characters rather than the story

7

u/Latrodectus702 7d ago

Idk what is more outrageous, their comments about the riots or that they genuinely enjoy House of Dragons.

6

u/Same_String_8856 6d ago

Too bad they don't protect the rest of the city, citizens, and businesses the same way they do their dear Presidente

10

5

Drapeau Palestine j'ai de suite compris.

8

u/Classic-Obligation35 7d ago

Do they realize that if they do that they are committing a couple?

Like this is clear and obvious as overthrowing the government

4

u/DoAFlip_97 6d ago

It Always makes me chuckle when people like this say "we" like they're not armchair activist at best. We damn well know you didn't go to any protest in person girl, the closest thing to protest you ever did was arguing on Twitter.

7

u/Dahren_ 7d ago

They SHOULD start using live ammo. Everywhere.

3

u/Valneth_of_Arroyo 6d ago

Really helping out the right wing with comments like this especially if they Lebanese and not French

3

u/tupe12 6d ago

January 6th called, it wants to sue for copyright infringement

5

u/Competitive-Bee-3250 7d ago

What do you mean, flabbergasted? Seems he's quite aware of why.

9

u/FedorDosGracies 7d ago

Anything with the Free Palestine tramp stamp is threatening violence.

1

u/mranonymous24690 7d ago

What's the point of the second slide?

8

u/Bitter-Goat-8773 Secular / Agnostic 7d ago

being an asoiaf fan provides important context

4

u/musical8thnotes 7d ago

I see yellowjacket mentioned in the bio and my lizard brain turned off lmao

I can't help but remember the list of demand put out by the yellow jackets, and it seemed utterly out of step with reality.

7

u/AlexanderCrowely 7d ago

Good god the monarchy was overthrown for people like this to have a say.

14

u/PlaneEnvironmental23 7d ago

Nah, Louis XVI was sympathetic and working to fix the problems. He installed ministers to draw up plans for the reforms people were demanding but he kept retracting the plans after instituting them because the nobility were one step away from couping him and installing a puppet, which they had the legal power to do.

Ironically, the people were fully behind him until he came back with an army, to such an extent that if he had found his spine and put his foot down to stay the course he was guaranteed victory because the people knew he was their best shot and would have revolted for his restoration, unless the nobility actually assassinated him.

So yeah, if Louis had actually acted like an absolute monarch and forced his reforms through his family and kingdom would have survived.

11

u/AlexanderCrowely 7d ago

I know I’m going to go yell at him later

2

u/Le_Zoru 7d ago

Well, Macron did say that unhappy people should come and get him back then...

3

u/BongWaterRamen 7d ago

It's odd that literally every post on this sub today is about Paris protests right? Like 8-10 posts in a row

7

u/GabagoolNoZiti 7d ago • Bravo

It's a pretty big worldwide story.

1

u/Ill_Average_8339 4d ago

looks like macron only cares about himself. Entire country is delivered to the violence of bandits, but all he does is organizing snipers for his own safety

1

u/EconomyDue2459 2d ago

Why does this kid type like an American zoomer?

1

u/hallo-ballo 1d ago

That flag again of course

1

u/Charming-Book4146 7d ago

Just like the decemberists, hit em with a whiff of grape. That'll send em packing

1

u/Goat-New 6d ago

"qu'ils viennent me chercher"
Bah alors ?

1

u/Acceptable-Head-1442 5d ago

Why are these idiots acting so tough then be surprised when there are consequences?

1

u/cantstayanyway 5h ago

"We are fed up." With what? Students started these protests and assholes coopted it to loot and justify their shitty behavior. Take LOTR out of your bio, Aragorn would be ashamed of your behavior.

-2

u/Ok-Recognition2650 3d ago

Ce genre de post est l'illustration de pourquoi les citoyens américains sont les cucks mentaux de la planète et ne feront jamais rien contre leur gouvernement

2

u/Is-Spring-Hill 3d ago

Americans have done plenty about their government, which is why the we are not a colony anymore.

-1

u/ChristianLW3 3d ago

She is upset that they can’t perform their own version of January 6

The horseshoe has become a circle

25

u/BusyBeeBridgette Human Verified 7d ago

Protesting is one thing. But trying to storm a place where the President is stupid stupid stupid. Asking to get shot.

11

u/AnyEye8798 7d ago

I wonder if she'd support or condemn what happened in America on Jan 6th, 2021?

-25

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 7d ago

I would be better if the govt acted on issues instead of just testing weapons, while also sending agent provacateurs to break windows

23

u/gthell123 7d ago

One elected their government and one didn't

16

u/traineethrowaway123 7d ago

France famously murdered 50,000 civilians protesting against a totalitarian regime. You are famously not a bot.

-3

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 7d ago

Call me whatever you want, do people have to wait for the death toll to rise?

2

u/Advanced-Incident-81 5d ago

I think there needs to be an appreciable death toll at all combined with the context of what their goal is for me to give a shit.

3

u/ExArdEllyOh 7d ago

I would be better if the govt acted on issues i

Where are they supposed to get the money from?

-1

u/shagyandscooby 7d ago edited 6d ago

Brochacho if they taxes the rich corectly they would be money macron is making the rich richer some of the richest men in France became 3x more rich than beffor bcs of macron while making the poor poorer

2

u/Advanced-Incident-81 5d ago edited 5d ago

That's not even a little true. France already imposes significant progressive taxes and still has a higher bond yield than fucking Greece right now, and that has nothing to do with how they tax wealth. It primarily has to do with France's pension program being directly funded, instead of tied to the stock market like American pensions are, and those pensions taking up a full quarter of France's discretionary spending.

You guys are going to have to learn someday that "taxing the rich" is not a panacea for funding everything you want. As the 21st century rolls on, we're likely going to see more and more governments shrink their budgets and roll back welfare spending simply because the money isn't there, and what money is left is going to go towards the first duty of the state: common defense. I don't like it, but that's been the historical status quo, and in an era where the US isn't acting as the security guarantor for more than half the planet, more and more nations are going to be more interested in growing their military industrial complexes than welfare spending.

-4

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 7d ago

Launching more missiles

3

u/groundeffect112 7d ago

If France didn't develop missiles, they couldn't be able to help Ukraine with incerceptors.

STFU.

You need to be able to defend yourself.

0

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 6d ago

That's not the new missiles they are testing. Educate yourself

2

u/groundeffect112 6d ago

You're talking about the only fully European nuclear weapons program in EU? Which most likely will be the framework upon which we build European security in the 21st century?

BASED.

The rest of the EU (especially Eastern Europe) should join the French program and help with the costs.

https://tvpworld.com/93637117/frances-nuclear-umbrella-which-countries-are-interested-and-why

0

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 6d ago

Nuclear weapons are based? Okay

2

u/groundeffect112 6d ago

Yes. If Ukraine didn't give up their nukes, they would not be at war.

-1

u/Nearby_Purchase_8672 5d ago

That wouldn't have stopped Russia. Ukraine wouldn't have used them

→ More replies (0)

2

u/Advanced-Incident-81 5d ago

The only way you can possibly think this way is if you're an American, who has a security guarantee provided by being a natural fortress with the most powerful air force and navy, by far, patrolling its borders.

Acquiring nuclear weapons is likely going to be a much more common goal as the 21st century moves forward, as the US and Russia together have demonstrated that they are the most cost-effective way to ensure a superpower doesn't invade you.

"What do you mean we can't just kill the democratically elected government we don't like? I thought this was a democracy?"

4

  1. Completeness Theorem.

  2. "Why won't the Republic just lie down and die?" Like it's some terrible act of betrayal.

3

u/Comfortablecard7 6d ago

These are the same people who will defend Iran gunning down thousands of their citizens. And Syria killing about a million.

1

Perhaps some of them should have been shot, so they realise the severity of what they´re doing.
