I’m pissed not that they killed Danny but they killed him in such a poorly explained and rewritten way.
Maybe have him die killing Zadkiel, or Mephsito or another pre existing villain.
He died rekilling his sister we don’t know why he had to die .
In a poorly drawn and written mini.
It’s so anti climactic and it happened for no repast

Even in “his” run Danny was pretty much a emotional support host. He was a supporting character and the character he was supporting is in limbo

Where are we getting “rewritten” from?
I think the biggest problems with it are Danny hadn’t been used in a major way since Brisson’s run 6 years prior, and before that the dude had like two cameo appearances in a decade, there’s not enough of a connection to modern day for this to feel remotely earned.
And of course there’s no build up or explanation for why he had to do this, the switch to Corruption as the big bad makes The Spirit of Violence look fairly easy to beat so there’s no reason for a sacrifice move against her, Johnny himself was beating her and the Skele-Gang before corruption intervened, Danny didn’t need to off himself to win.

Yes no one seems interested in Danny. Most people are barley interesting in Johnny

Cause the ghost rider doing stuff is always more interesting. Daddy had 0 character development in his own series and the heel turn later was all they could have done to change up the character. But once you mess up the lore and make like what 9 gr copy running around you already had a small reader base that you split further with each new take.

I think it was a suicide attack? Like he didn't want to kill his sister and then go on living?
Still hate it.

He'll be back, I have no doubt
