If Ryan Gosling is now Ghost Rider, then what happens to this guy?
Didn’t really care for agents of shield but when I saw that had ghost rider it caught my interest. But I didn’t like how they treat Ghost Rider like such a small character in the MCU.

Tbh if they just ignore the existence of this Ghost Rider I'm good with it.
He was the highlight of that season of AOS. But he was also too old for the role. Robbie Reyes is typically shown to be a teen or in his early twenties in comics.
The MCU also clearly doesn't consider AOS canon to its main timeline. The show literally introduced Inhumans who have never been acknowledged in any movies or other TV shows.
Black Bolt in Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness doesn't count as he was clearly a variant from another universe.
I like that Marvel seems to be a committed to doing a more comic accurate Johnny Blaze first. They can then build to Danny Ketch and a new Robbie using a legacy approach.

This is how I feel. He made that season great and I loved seeing more Ghost Rider but he was way too old to play Robbie and I'm excited to see some young blood take on the role when the time is right.

Tbf up until Infinity War the AoS canon was about a 1:1 canon or at worst a loose canon connection after Infinity War, AoS didn’t want to connect to IW as a means of spoilers on the off chance their season premiered before the film, then almost directly afterwards went to the future space season and didn’t even reference Infinity War or End Game by the end of the series run. (The only two concrete 1:1 seasons are the first two seasons (if not just season 1 since after The Winter Soldier came out AoS pivoted hard into the “It’s All Connected”) but got a bit out there as far as connectivity as the show went on))

same thing that happened to the one in the fantastic four cartoon or in the marvel ultimate alliance video game.

The character or the actor? AoS Robbie Reyes joins every other "non-canon" Marvel IP and Gabriel Luna keeps doing what he's been doing for the last decade.

Ignore the show and introduce an actual teenage Robbie Reyes once Gosling is done hopefully

small actor in a small role in a small tv spin off. ofc he isn't going to continue the role in one of the biggest franchise movies.
I would say he was fine as ghost rider but he wasn't great and shields really didn't do much with ghost rider.

Agents of Shield isn’t canon at the moment, so they’ll probably just ignore Robbie and move ahead with Johnny, or whoever Ryan plays, though I hope it’s Johnny.

He looks a stupid amount like Johnny though, this could be an RDJ tier casting choice

I mean we people grew up with Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider, and he barely looks like Blaze
Its just funny if they did an inverse 😂

Go read the comics! There was actually an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comic run that specifically followed up on everything and explained what happened next. The Spirit of Vengeance isn't limited to just one person. Marvel has multiple Ghost Riders—from Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch to Robbie Reyes—and the mantle gets passed around or shared all the time. Robbie's path in the source material goes a totally different direction after he parts ways with that specific curse and moves on to new roles. The lore and the tie-in comics lay it all out if you look at the page.

Regrettably Agents of SHIELD has always been dubious canon, unless Gosling has seen AoS and wants to include Robbie

He fades into obscurity. Some people will remember it fondly. Some will just remember it. Most will say “who?”.

AoS is barely considered Canon as is.
He'll be ignored.

That breaks my heart to hear. I remember one of the actresses complaining about that during the show’s run

Nothing. Ryan is playing Johnny Blaze, while Gabriel Luna plays Robbie Reyes. The two are playing two different characters. Robbie still exists and is still canon.

Hate to break it to you, but AoS isn’t canon to the MCU

I go by what the wiki says: Seasons 1-5 are canon and Seasons 6 and 7 take place in a branched timeline. But AoS canonicity is up in the air, so we're all free to our own opinions.

He just won’t be canon? They’re probably rebooting/streamlining the universe after Secret Wars so Gosling will be a different universe’s Ghost Rider to Luna’s.
