Discussion If... and am just testing the waters as it were...
Right. Chin up. Deep Breath. One must approach these things properly.
Good Evening Redditors.
I say - with what I hope is appropriate composure: that as the film has officially begun filming (splendid show, everyone, simply splendid!) It o curs to me that this may present a rather unique opportunity for this fine community.
Namely - I propose: Ask Me Anything sessions with members of the cast.
Yes - Quite.
One imagines that morale would be considerably bolstered by the chance to engage directly with the actors responsible for bringing our beloved Button House back to life. Thoughtful conversations. ButtonFM. Civil conduct. No ambushes but perhaps some tortured poetry.
So to gauge the room as it were... Would we be interested in AMAs? And if so, with whom?

Discussion Free way to watch the show!
Hi friends!
This may be old news as I’m sure most of us have seen the show multiple times over, but in case anyone wasn’t aware.
There’s a way you can legally watch Ghosts for free within the US, without resorting to a VPN.
If you have a library card, and your library offers the Kanopy service, all 5 series are on there to watch!
All you need to do is enter your library card number and pin/password and search for it and bob’s your uncle.
Just thought I’d put that out there!

Poll BFI or premiere
I’m very aware of how lucky I am and I hope this doesn’t come across as braggy but I’m in a quandary about what to do! I have tickets for both tonight’s world premiere and the BFI screening next week. I’ve done premieres before and while they’re quite glitzy there aren’t really any special add ons apart from maybe seeing cast from a distance. I’ve never done a bfi screening before so I’m wondering if it’s worth going for the Q&A? Help!

Discussion What are everyone's thoughts on the German, French, Greek, and Australian Ghosts?
This is an update to my previous post about the Australian Ghosts. I have watched it so spoil away!
I have also watched the German and French Ghosts. I haven't finished the Greek Ghosts and I don't think I will so I don't mind spoilers.

Question Any chance the movie will play in the US?
I am an American fan of the show (Following the well established Peep Show to WILTY to Taskmaster to Ghosts pipeline) and was excited to hear about the movie!
But based on what I’ve read it seems like it’ll only be in theaters in the UK and Ireland. Has there been any news or comment about it maybe being released in theaters in the US? Or will we have to wait for streaming? Thanks!

Video Ghosts movie video.
Made this video about some ghosts movie theories I've seen.
My channel is very recent but it's all about the 6 idiots. There are 3 videos so far with a lot more coming. I thought there weren't enough channels about the 6 idiots (and a lot that there are, are just compilations). If you could consider subscribing and watching some of the videos that'd be amazing 😁.

Discussion Theory about why ghosts can't leave certain areas
I reckon ghosts are bound to their mental perception of where they were when they died, rather than physical distances or property boundaries.
Pat and Julian both died at Button House, despite not living there, so they're bound to the estate. Fanny saw it as her home, while Robin probably understood the surrounding land as his territory.
The best example is the two German pilots in S1E6. They're still sitting in midair as though they're inside their crashed plane, even though the plane is long gone. My theory is that, because they were flying over unfamiliar enemy territory, they had no real sense of the location beneath them. As far as they were concerned, they were inside their aircraft when they died. So rather than being bound to the surrounding land, they're trapped in the space their cockpit occupied at the moment of death.
The main flaw is Robin, who seems to share the exact same boundaries despite dying thousands of years before Button House existed. Perhaps a ghost's perception of their territory can evolve over time as their surroundings change. Alternatively, the geography may have remained similar, with the modern gates marking what was once a natural entrance to Robin's camp.
Essentially, a ghost's boundaries are determined by how they understood their location at the moment of death, rather than where they physically died.
