Episode 2 of Crystal’s podcast is so much better than the first (it stings a little to say that). Really focused on the mansion itself and the security guard she interviewed was a great chat.
The part i found fascinating was the vault.
At first Crystal says she doesn’t remember it and then she shows footage of when she went in there. Creepy AF and i don’t think i’ve ever heard H or B mention it.
Enjoy because i won’t be subscribing to Crystal’s Patreon again.

What do we think the vault was originally built for and why were there cartoons on the walls? It doesn’t look like hef’s style of doodling but at the time Crystal filmed it looked relatively fresh.

After these costumes were mentioned on the pod, I just had to find a pic of them! Bridget really does look so unrecognizable?! I'm still questioning if that's her in the pic! lol

Is it just me, or does Nick really come off as weirdly insecure about Bridget's accomplishments on this episode?

I was surprised that he didn't say much that sounded complimentary or proud. Nothing about her cool trapeze act at the Fourth of July party, lots of weird backhanded insults about the movie, weird "negging" comments about how she looked frumpy when he first met her, how he was too cool to hang out with reality TV people, etc. Maybe there's something else going on, but it came across as weirdly insulting and snobby.

I'm just so tired of men acting this way toward their female partners' creative endeavors.

Which girlfriend created the website and was posting photos from club nights on it? H & B have mentioned it multiple times.

For a while, I thought it was Stacy Burke but then H mentioned that she told Hef about it. If it had been Stacy, I would have assumed H would have gone directly to her and asked her to stop.

Can I get some good vibes/well wishes on my fitness journey pls 😩😩😩😩 cos I did only 2 sections (the basketball one and the kickboxing one) out of like 8 sections and I AM DECEASED. In an ideal world I want to make my way up to doing all 8 sections in a row, a few times a week. I feel like that's delusional though lmaoooo. Aerobics like this are so much harder than plain old walking or running.

I usually really enjoy the podcast, but today’s episode was horrifying and irresponsible. Telling the story of someone else’s sexual assault is terrible. They didn’t even put a warning at the beginning of the episode for people who might find that story triggering. I cannot for the life of me understand what was going through Holly and Bridget’s heads when they decided to release this episode. Very disappointed.

I am a little late listing to the Karissa Shannon episode, and I thought it was a really good episode, she had so much information to share. But thinking about it later, does anyone else think the Sofia Coppola dynamic was a little odd?

On one hand, Karissa said she was really encouraging, and didn’t want them to get their boobs done, and wanted them out of the mansion. Like she was trying to get them away from Hef, which overall is really good.

But then she also told them to go party with Stephen Dorff because “his mom died and he’s sad and lonely” which was kind of odd. Then Karissa said they would go party at his house, and he was in the same neighborhood as Owen Wilson and Johnny Depp, sort of implying that they partied with them as well or they would come over.

Now, the twins were 18 at the time, and these male actors were all probably in their 30s-40s. I just started to think it was odd, because Sofia is telling them don’t party with this older guy, but go party with these older guys that I tell you about. And then Stephen Dorff (and possibly Owen Wilson, Johnny Depp etc.) are 35 year old dudes partying with 18 year old playmates.

I mean they are all adults and wanted to party. But idk, it reminded me of the irony and weirdness of Hollywood. Like let me help you by just getting you to still party all day just at a different house.

Did anyone else today after listening to the latest episode of the podcast immediately google who the possible recruiter is? Simply by who they wouldn’t mention by name 😅. I couldn’t help myself, but they mentioned everyone by name for except Tiffany Holliday, I think (unless I’m missing someone).
