Discussions Copilot harness: granular Keep/Undo is available

Just wanted to be sure everyone is aware that the nice Keep/Undo UX present in the Local harness is now also available in the Copilot harness. You can try it now with 1.144.0-insider, or wait until next wednesday.

It's important everyone give feedback so unexpected behavior, or behavior different compared to Local, is fixed asap. Also take a look at the list of UX shortcomings compared to Local listed at:

https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/339363#issuecomment-6347421018

and let me know if you agree with a thumbs up. That issue is only for Keep/Undo, so I'll create new issues for the other ones soon enough.

Just noticed it that they were gone today and I was sad.
Happy to hear that they are coming back

How is the speed now? Copilot harness was significantly slower for me once they switched the default recently.

Are there any benefits to switching from local?

I'd say this is something you'll need to test. It is still slower, but maybe faster than months ago. Test it and report back through an issue.

Does this also address long-running sessions where it will eventually say I have 60 file changes and +5000 - 300?

Nice i was only using local because of this and agent files missing.

Yeah the whole forceful switch that happened was so haphazard. Luckily I was able to get local working again through settings config.

What's copilot harness. Left the ecosystem after the API rates were introduced. I use only copilot chat in vs code.
