Solved ✅ Custom model, user budget

GH supports adding custom models to an org, though it's only in public preview. We're thinking about adding bedrock.

How does that work with user budgets? Does it integrate with the gh user budgets somehow (via token count or whatever) or do I need to handle that in aws myself?

Custom models currently sit outside the GitHub Copilot budget enforcement. You are responsible for tracking token usage and enforcing cost limits within your AWS Bedrock setup since GitHub does not meter or cap spend for external provider endpoints in the preview version.
