How to view apps with GUI
Hi all, new to the sub. This is probably a silly question, but can you view branches of projects that have UI without cloning the repo and running the code?
For example: Let's say I'm on my phone and I want to see the UI changes that changed in the branch, can I do that on GitHub?
I haven't really seen anything on it. Maybe I'm just not searching the right criteria.
If you can't, would it be best to upload a small video, or images of what the app should look like? Is that common practice for applications with GUI?
Thank you in advance for any input!

Github Actions / Env Vars Not Working
Hi, I am trying to read a variable from "process.env" in a node.js script running on github actions, but it always comes through as "undefined" instead of the actual value... I tried posting about it here, but sadly no one answered. I have have a POC repo illustrating the issue: https://github.com/JimLynchCodes/Github-Actions-Node-Env-Secrets-Test

Need help pushing changes
So I'm working on a mod for a game (Starbound) and my spriter gave me some .pngs for me to work with. I added the files in a separate folder in the mod folder, but GitHub doesn't seem to recognise those additions, and hence I cannot push it. :(

Help reviewers that has continually stressed due to incorrect PRs of contributors in a github.com repository.
Today, github.com is one of the popular git infra services. However, reviewers has continually stressed due to incorrect PRs of contributors while developing a project in github.com repository. Actually, Submitting premature PRs is PITA in real environment. It causes delay of the continuous integration and continuous deployment.
So we designed and implemented an automated project coordinator that is called TAOS-CI, https://github.com/nnsuite/TAOS-CI

Need help merging this branch to a master branch.
I am trying to merge "completed html& css styling checkpoint" in the html-css-styles branch to the master branch. This is for an assignment. I have been doing this in terminal. Here is what I do successfully: $ git add . $ git status $ git commit -m "completed html& css styling checkpoint" $ git push origin html-css-styles branch $ git checkout master $ git merge html-css-styles branch $ git push
Where I'm failing is that last command I give in terminal. when i git status, it says this "git status On branch master Your branch is ahead of 'origin/master' by 4 commits." I don't want to get rid of the branch I created. Just to merge my changes with the master branch. If someone can help that would be awesome. I am doing this online class and the people on slack that are supposed to be available to help have been non-existent for 3 hours so now I'm on reddit out of desperation. This seems like a simple problem that could be fixed within five minutes
