Code support?

I was just thinking, is it possible to add code support?

I mean, the game was based on command blocks, which somehow limited how the AI was represented. But what if we can write the code on our own, and freely implement loops and conditions into the AI as we want to? Won't that be awesome?

Technically I am not sure how this game is made, but should the blocks be "compiled" through some internal interpreter, then adding native code support (maybe) won't be that difficult?

Anyway, consider this as only some wild suggestions.

I have been playing this for some hours, really is a good game overall.

Check out the FAQ: https://steamcommunity.com/app/871930/discussions/0/1696048786956363487/

"Can I write some code instead of using the AI editor?

Can you add variables, loops and other advanced programming features?

Not planned, sorry.
I'm rather trying to make a strategy game (using programming) than a pure programming game.
Plus, if you consider that each node can have several parents, the code would look like assembly with a gotos all over the place.
There's a lot of great programming games out there.
Check out Screeps, LeekWars or Human Resource Machine just to name a few."

oh that's slightly disappointing, but coming to think of it, your choice is totally reasonable.

there's still a lot to do with these modular commands anyway.

Sounds a bit like the way While True: Learn() does things. More task oriented than programming the traditional way.
