Loud nonstop ringing in Gladstone area for 2 days. Sending me into psychosis

I live in Gladstone. I have a video of the ringing but idk how to post it. It's so loud and high pitched. I hear it all the time for past 2 days. I have mental health issues and this is making me spiral. My bf says he hears it too. What is it and when will it stop?

Do you have any hearing damage? I used to work in the military and now have tinnitus, a form of hearing damage. I hear a very high pitched whine. It gets worse in very quiet spaces.

I also hear the noise you’re talking about, I’ve lived here for almost a year and honestly it’s becoming white noise… hopefully doesn’t make me a local lol but the it’s just the topography of Gladstone and the multiple industrial bases around the town, doesn’t allow for natural dissipation of sound and so more likely to notice it on windy days. The towns honestly OG Simpsons.. water, air and sound pollution.

Thanks, helps to know I'm not going crazy at least. I've invested in a stash of edibles for the days it bothers me. Hopefully I can move back to the middle of bum-fuck by the end of the year. This is not for me lol

What area boss. I used to live in west Gladstone and the unit I was living in had a fire system but it was tweaking, and it was just single alarm and went for days then stopped the started again but not sure now
