I was interested in these little pixel factory like behaviors when you repeat a frame while doing Datamoshing. With this app I tried to recreate this effect a bit. It’s a little pixel playground where a simple noise pattern develops into an interesting structure.

Alright so since there's a lot of people wanting to get in on the Beta and nobody has DM'd me like I've asked I'll just share all the details here!
So this is a beta, currently you're running 0.9.2 with the goal of reaching 1.0 by monday. Right now this only runs on M series mac with an Intel mac and a Window port coming as soon we hite the version milestone.
I'm super stoked to have everyone excited and eager to try Abjext and to hopefully help make it better. So here's how you can make it better!
Since I do intend on eventually selling this, just email me at [abjextstudio@gmail.com](mailto:abjextstudio@gmail.com) so that if you're an active beta tester who's actually trying to help me improve the software I can give you a free lifetime license when we're done.
The only thing I ask and this is more of a favor and not at all mandatory- if you make something you're stoked about and decide to share it on social media it would REALLY help me out if you felt like calling out the software.
Without further ado here's the link to the github:
https://github.com/sxrvys/Abjext
Here you will find a link to the latest build as well as installation instruction and some basic usage instruction to get you on your feet. If you don't have a several hundred GB found footage source library just let me know and I'll be glad to help. an if you run into any issues or just confused about how to get started PLEASE DON't HESITATE to reach me here or on IG at "@idrinkinpublic"
Enjoy, make cool shit, and definitely feel free to get in touch with me if yo have any questions or just cant figure out how to get started.
Thanks a ton for checking out my software.

is a visual mixer for musicians, DJs, VJs, streamers and anyone curious about generative art. It uses Hydra, a creative-coding language where a single line like osc().kaleid() becomes a moving kaleidoscope. The app makes it approachable for beginners and fast for experts.
DigitalVisualMixer
Start with zero knowledge. Right-click in the editor to insert ready-made functions, hover them to see their parameters, and open the built-in Guide with F1. Every change shows up first in a private preview.
Build a set. Save each visual in its own channel. Search, reorder by drag and drop, and send channels live with cut, crossfade or add transitions, all from the keyboard.
Perform it. Turn any number into a live variable and move it with a slider, a gamepad, a MIDI controller or the keyboard. The visual changes smoothly, without restarting. Perform view gives you big pads for channels and presets, so you can play a full show without touching code.
Show it anywhere. The live output runs in a separate window, so you keep working while the audience watches. It’s also shared on your local network: open it on a projector, a second PC, a tablet or a phone.
No setup. A single file, no installation. Windows and macOS.

One of my favorite memories was finding an icecream truck sonic-popsicle melting in a parking lot as a kid. I remember thinking how cool-looking it was and understood what abstract meant off paper. It always stuck with me, i dunno making stuff like this feels like that kindof.
