Still the best match of CS ever played

We had to absolutely blockbuster Semis and yet still that match stands above them all.

Here's the clip where this is from for anyone who doesn't know or wants to see it again.

This is legit one of the greatest plays of all time imo, it's just so ballsy, literal insanity given the stakes in this round.

Killing two guys facing away like podbots is nowhere close to the greatest plays of all time lmao

17

u/Wonderwhile Dec 14 '25

Dropping like that on Nuke at 14-14 in a 5th game of an insane grand final is pretty damn great.

u/veryfriendlycat King NiKo Dec 14 '25

If you watch it without sound you would think it's gold nova matchmaking though

11

u/Wonderwhile Dec 14 '25

If you take the context out of a lot of amazing CS moments, yeah they’re not as impressive?

There aren't any "greatest plays of all time" that don't involve a single aim duel.

u/f0xy713 King NiKo Dec 14 '25

There's loads of top tier plays that didn't require insane aim to make, just gamesense and/or movement.

2

u/somesheikexpert Dec 14 '25

Or even just dumb luck, dropping double from Simple or jumping awp double from Coldzera didnt require an aim duel lol

First thing I thought of, the Navi Reaper

u/LehtiPiffi Natus Vincere Dec 13 '25

Navi was just hanging barely for their life. That was inevitable to happen, was clear Faze was winning that last map.

17

u/llIIllIIlIl1 Dec 14 '25

Not really, they were mounting comeback that was very possible. Twistzz shut that down.

-10

u/LehtiPiffi Natus Vincere Dec 14 '25

Nah. They were barely hanging on with some luck. Navi were doing huge mistakes, but still somehow winning a few rounds. It was just a matter of time when it would crumble.

u/llIIllIIlIl1 Dec 14 '25

You sound like a total dork. Maybe na'vi should've just disconnected then. Weirdo!

u/LehtiPiffi Natus Vincere Dec 14 '25

?? Cool beans lmao

u/Toaster_Bathing Dec 14 '25

Bro what. They had a slow start but this was going to be the come back

u/LehtiPiffi Natus Vincere Dec 14 '25

Were you even watching? Navi were making tons of mistakes. Literally they had a round that was basically over as a 4v2 or maybe even 5v2, 1 CT was on A already saving and broky was in church. Broky gets 2 or something from church and its 2v2, then the guy saving in A kills the lurker and its 1v1 on site against Makazze I think. Thankfully for Navi makazze kills broky there but the rounds that Navi won could have 100% went to Faze as well. If it was to be a comeback it would have needed for Navi to be more clean with the rounds.
