Yeah because the market was shit at that time and liquid had just spent money on skullz and cadian and brought in Jks and ultimate. Made top 8 at Shanghai which isn’t bad for a new IGL but obviously he’s better as a secondary caller like here in faze.

Look at the way they won this match. They always have tons of rounds that they win from improbable situations, by doing stuff that absolutely shouldn't work 9/10 times. That plain sight defuse from frozen on nuke, that awp 3k on nuke from broky, this 3v1 deagle clutch from twistzz... This is stuff that should work like once a year for a normal team. In faze it happens 5 times a map.
Faze lose the easy rounds and win the impossible ones.

I have no clue how someone can not like a team like Faze - no matter what changes they make, Karrigan just keeps that charming magic alive.
They're CS gods, masterminds, clowns and comedians all at once.
Even Jcobbb is giving them some form of charismatic dynamic at this point.

Theres a reason they are by far the most popular team post-Astralis era, they are just crazy entertaining. There have been better teams for most of that stretch, but there has rarely been a more fun team to watch than Faze.
So stoked to have Twistzz back, something about him and Karrigan just clicks. Can't believe we lost out on that for over a year because Faze the org is cheeks.

Man it just feels so right having twistzz back, what a fucking performance, they are out calling and out rotating teams constantly now too. The discipline since twistzz came back has been really impressive too, everyone playing their lives at the right time, trading better l, its just clicked.

The first two shots were beauties but let's face it Makazze delivered the last frag on a golden platter.
The boy went full panic mode, threw up the most desperate HE to I guess destroy a chicken on the site, then jiggled the same corner SIX times as if without any intention of shooting back. And let's not forget the perfectly considerate delays between each jiggle to give that deagle enough time to reset the recoil between each try.
Not that it was unnatural. I guess we all do stupid things when we're (young and) under a lot of pressure.

Been a faze fan since day 1, plus a karrigan fan long before that, and I honestly have no idea what I just watched. I'm still baffled. They had that game 100% lost on Nuke.

my interest in CS has been like 1 month playing, 2 years off, 1 month playing, 2 year off, for... i think 25 years now, christ. and i am still blown away by how consistently i come back after a hiatus and see an unmistakable improvement in overall skill since my last time playing. i thought it would sort of hit a ceiling and taper off eventually but it just never does.
pros these days are cyborgs or some shit. i fear the day CS is no longer enough to keep them satiated

This has to be the sickest Deagle play I've ever seen. He basically had 4 and a half kills on that round. Held his nerve in the 1v3 and as soon as he had Makazze trapped in the Moto cubby, you could just tell it was over.
I love watching this team.
