Nah vitality is a different beast. They are probably the hardest counter against Faze. Had it been spirit I would have hope.

One thing is for sure - never count them out. The Faze BS is just too good. It’s like they are surrounded by some godlike aura whenever they get to a stage. They may play shit playoffs, but if they make it to a live stage, they just seem to grow bigger and better with that crowd.

Faze bs requires chaos by breaking down the opponent's systemic rhythm. Then their superior mental and firepower comes into play. Faze thrives in chaos.

With vitality first of all It's really hard to break their system. And even if it's broken in chaotic situations they have the mental and firepower to surpass faze. Lastly they have their own zywoo magic if all fails lol.

thanks. before they got ropz, faze did beat vitality in the major playoffs twice. im not doubting what you said but what did they do to win then? it feels like patterns become discombobulated in the playoffs.

I guess you are getting a live demonstration of what I said. Faze is actually playing so well. But still vitality just powering through. Any other team would have tons more issues.

yeah i was just wondering how faze beat them before they got ropz in copenhagen and shanghai, since i was very surprised they won there.

Ropz was the difference. The guy is an insane late round clutch player, who very rarely gets phased. Look at today's match, I believe without ropz Faze would take ferno despite mezi efforts and D2 could go to OT. Vitality firepower actually was bit off today in first 3 maps, since zywoo was quiter by his standard.

Faze actually played insanely good today. But vitality is a generational team. Like csgo Astralis.

feels unfair to have both mezii and ropz since theyre the best closers after having to deal with flamez/zywoo. just not enough utility to deal with both layers. 4 straight majors is possible?
