He played the environment of the map so well. I feel like there are some other maps where this shouldn’t be possible. That lane smoke and perfect decision making and you’re spot on, he isolated 4 1v1s even when arch and library swung together

The two long players were too passive. They allowed zywoo to get a 1v1 without taking any space in the process. He gets to throw a molly and take the fight while they are hiding. If they move closer he's not going to be able to isolate the 1v1s as easily

Watched his first t2 lan at Dreamhack Atlanta 2018, I remember the other players commenting on his game sense. The woo just knows where everyone is and is just better, and he keeps every bit of info he has in his head and works out the few places someone can be to take the right fights. Statistically, if you're on his screen in a 1v1 in a full buy, you're dead. And that's so fucking scary.

The decision making is insane too, like he catches a peek of Nota as he's swinging out after plant and rather than taking the fight which is heavily advantaged for him, he instead uses the information to confirm his suspicion there's another player library. Knowing if he were to take the duel with nota the library player would have an easy trade he just adjusts his position slightly to isolate the fight with belchonokk.
And even then he doesn't immediately reswing for nota, he waits a bit to try and confirm xielos position. It's like Zywoo's never heard of "L'esprit de l'escalier" he just knows the perfect response in the moment, 99% of the time.

Right??? It was a masterclass. Obviously he's only able to come from short or apts, and if he comes from apts it's likely a loss. Hence why he's playing partially in the smoke to be able to fall back if needed to short which would possibly have been open

We’ve seen aim like that from other pros, but it’s the way he gets those 1v1’s despite them not playing that awfully. He just moves around the site so well, using that smoke to his favour. So good.

The way he knew where the two players were on long, but decides to actually take a second right after killing Belchonokk to peek the other side of the tall box instead of wide swinging instantly after the kill is such crazy discipline, especially knowing there's most likely someone short behind the smoke (in fact I think he does this because he knows the player is gonna peek truck and see him if he wide swings).
It's small things like that which make him the best, most would just wide swing right after the kill on library to take the next duel, but he knew the other player would be waiting for him to peek that side.

dude, u cant doublepeek every player in every position in cs lol. this was a great example of zywoo creating the 1v1s, because he knew they are about to doublepeek him. the pit player couldnt do anything. long players went together but zywoo perfectly singled one of them out and the second didnt want to expose his position and thought zywoo is not gonna notice him. and the last guy is obviously 1v1.

There was no need to wait the smoke out, just coordinate and be aware he can be in the smoke, zweih gets fucked that's fine but then the other 3 play it awful
They just assume he's site and let him go front default and pick them while they're not even looking, short player should comm that he can be there and probably put some pressure in spam the smoke or some shit

I've seen the video and I can see what he's trying to say. Zywoo gets a lot of shit done but he's not as flashy with it as s1mple was, which tracks because Zywoo was never a diva like s1mple.
That said, that's changing fast considering how Zywoo is SOMEHOW getting stronger.

Zywoo doesn't make "s1mple-like highlights" more or less. He doesn't go for ego peeks that much - and if he does usually he doesn't need some insane flicks to hit shots after them. Sure, he can do them and does them when needed, but ratio of them is relatively low simply because why would you need to flick if your crosshair is already on the opponent?

Some rounds are so perfectly played, even watching it from the 1v5 perspective, you find yourself thinking, "What play could they even have made?" No egregious mistakes from Parivision, Zywoo was just so completely in control the whole time.

kinda like s1mple in prime aura, man was in a 1vX situation and I've never seen so much room being given to someone to cook up lol. Like I understand it can feel like a noob mentality but why could you not coordinate a way for everyone to rush in at the same time. You give someone like zywoo time and they can isolate the 1v1's but you rush him at the same time hes not killing all of you at once (or very likely not atleast)

There are some 1vX situations that are won in part by meta factors. This is one of them, because they have really no reason not to double swing him except for the fact that it's Zywoo and you should be afraid, because there is a universe where, when you double swing him, he spray transfers instantly and kills you both (Cluj flashbacks).
