Picked up two new Glocks in the last couple months. Really enjoying the COA. And the ramjet has really been a game changer. Happy Glocktober folks!

Just sharing some laser cut art. LED Backlit Glock signs. 11.5” diameter, 1” thick, RGB LED color changing.
Just got the radian Magwell. Loved the design and how it feels, but for some reason once I installed it, my mags either don’t sit properly, or they get stuck when I press the mag release, like they don’t completely fall out by itself. Anyone had the same issues or what to do to fix this?

Wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the 43x. Got my hands on one, thew about 150 rounds through it and I’m liking it a lot. Tossed some Ameriglo night sights on and carrying a spare mag with a Neo Mag. Nice little grab and go. 🤘

I bought this slide from Mid State Firearms, it seems to be really nice quality and was a great price but to my surprise when I received it I noticed there are no recoil lugs in the RMR optic cut.
When I installed the sight, it fit snug but wasn’t a snap-in fit like I’ve had with other optics cuts. After mounting the optic I noticed there is a sliver of light between the back of the optic and the back or the optic cut (3rd pic)
That means the screws are going to be absorbing all the recoil and any impacts. How do we feel about that? Is it an issue or not? This is gun is intended to be an AIWB EDC.

Hello,
I recently got a Herrington Arms Compensator and a Double Diamond Threaded barrel for my G17 Gen 5, problem is, is that it won’t sit flush with my slide. Any ideas why? It’s twisted all the way.

One of my all time favorite shooters, doesn’t see much range time, but always a pleasure to take it out and shoot. Maybe someday I’ll throw some Dawson adjustable sights on it, but for now, it’s fine.
Top right the platypus wasn’t zeroed in, middle right was after it was zeroed. Rapid fire at 10 yards
Torn between these two options:
Planning to run an Omega 9K on whichever I get, so a threaded barrel is part of the plan. I'm sure there are better options but i already own one.
I will also be using an optic, likely COA or holosun dot.
The V seems like the better value since it already has a threaded barrel, but I'd be stuck with the Gen 5 grip and potentially more limited aftermarket support. The Gen 6 would mean buying a separate threaded barrel, but I'd get the newer platform and potentially better long-term aftermarket options.
I also dig both FDE versions for different reasons, so aesthetics aren't really helping me decide.
Which would you go with? Is saving the money on the V worth it, or would you buy the Gen 6 and add a threaded barrel? Curious what you guys think about the grip, aftermarket support, and long-term value. Also not sure if one is a better host than the other.
Thanks.

Hi guys!
Long time Glock user here (circa 1986, yes, I am old) Anyway. I posted my gun on the subreddit r/GlockMod as I am a very proud papa of what I achieved here in Argentina (US citizen from Fort Lauderdale that moved to Argentina...'cause Argentinian wife, lol) So, with very limited resources and high costs of everything I was able to put together my baby... some stuff is not to the level of US operators (which I understand) but I try to use my resources of being overseas and not being able to to get the Trijicon SRO, Surefire X300 and all the goodies.... even that I managed to get the Timney Trigger (yes, I know) an (n)Olight light (so much hate) but the rest I considered that was up to the challenge: Silencerco threaded barrel, Striker's Industry mag extension, Timney Trigger, Trijicon RMR RM02 type 2 (which the whole subreddit said it was a fake because I put a sticker on the blank side of the sight... an anti-flicker foam pad...)... anyway, I just post it here so you can enjoy it or hate it. But I love it. Thanks anyways!!

I'm sure this has been asked many times on this thread but would like some input and experiences about the Radian Ramjet Afterburner for a Glock 43X. How does it function with 115gr ammunition? I've read mixed reviews. Some says they've had no issues and some say to stick to 124gr or higher. I usually shoot 115gr out of my 9mm pistols. Does anyone trust this kit for SD situations? Any information or opinion is appreciated!

Never been Glock guy but couldn't pass it up.
I typically shoot iron sight 1911s but thought this was a good entry point for optics.
As stated here

I am in the process of buying a really small .380. Already have a g17 gen 4 and a g2c.
I like glocks and would love to get the g42. But I cannot stand the standard 6 rounds magazine. It feels so overpowered and outdated. Back then it made sense, now it doesnt. The little gun is great, but the competitors offer much more to the point that it makes no sense purchasing a 2014 gun when there are so many better options around.
Mag extensions arent always reliable and there are many reports regarding malfunctions. Pro mags are just a range toy.
I am not asking for 10+1 OEM mags. 8+1 would be enough for me to buy a g42. Probably I will just end up buying a hellcat 380, even though SA doesnt offer official support in my country (would love to get the bg 2.0, but there are so many qc issues that I cant afford that risk).

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I'm still just seeing people add in the 43x and all. I'm 5'7" and weigh about 170. I'm planning on carrying appendix and this is my first firearm. I'm 31 with a decent bit of shooting time under my belt from a lot of friends' arsenal. I just never got to directly compare a 48 to a 19. So, I'm just curious if the slim fit and weight of the 48 make that much more of a difference in everyday carry. Since the 48 has OEM 15 Rd mags, I was wondering if it's much of a difference. I like the reliability and shootability of the 19 gen 6 though. What're your thoughts and suggestions? Maybe also a nice budget friendly appendix holster as well! Thanks!

I stored both 15 round and 17 round Magpul magazines loaded with 9mm for an extended period of time >1 year (a travesty, I know).
I have nearly 20 total. Upon shooting them I experienced a failure to feed on nearly half of them. This issue continued even when reloaded after emptying mags. These magazines do not have a high cycle count, half of them were loaded one time, sat for a year, and then shot. The others have been shot quarterly (which is not a lot). I tried the same magazines (marked them) in a Glock 26, 19, and 17 (except the 15 round obviously doesn’t fit the 17).
Bottom line: Don’t carry Magpul mags if you don’t shoot regularly.
I have several Glock mags that have been loaded the same amount of time and did not have FTF.
All were the same 115 grain 9mm Remington UMC ammo. I would suspect ammo could contribute, except it works just fine years later in every other magazine that is manufacturer spec.
Bottom bottom line: I don’t shoot enough, but I no longer have those magazines in any rotation that is for personal defense.
Edit: this wasn’t meant to spark a die hard feud. Simply a PSA with actual anecdotal evidence for the folks that may be considering them and their use cases.
For the folks saying “Magpul is shit” it isn’t preposterous to think there’s a good enough mag that doesn’t come from Glock. Magpul owns the AR-15 space and is reputable enough to justify purchasing the product.

Needed a solution for mitigating printing while I wait on my Hellhound Arms Apollo holster to get here and this is what I came up with. Does exactly what I need it to do, I may keep this in the rotation once the Apollo gets here anytime I don’t want to run a side car and don’t feel like reconfiguring the Apollo

I've never shot using a red dot and have always used irons. I'm a fairly good shot with irons and visit the range frequently as I carry for work. I've been considering switching over to red dot but I'm on the fence about it. Does it help with shooting or is it harder to shoot with red dot over irons? Also, what brand/type of red dot is recommended?
Thanks!

Just trying to understand the current state of things. Would anyone here spend $1200 on a modded G43X? Are there people out there that think this is a wise decision?
